WHAT TO EXPECT:
Rise to the birdsong of the surrounding jungle. Enjoy your café on the terrace, and watch the howler monkeys swing through the treetops. Then head out on foot for a surf, board in arm. Or take an equally short stroll in the other direction, to the tranquil, verdant grounds of the Nosara Yoga Institute. On day seven, mix it up with a sunrise saunder among the crystalline tide pools lacing the southern end of the bay. After breakfast, lounge in an infinity pool that seemingly falls into the jungle. Relax. These are your mornings. You write the rest....
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING:
For those who are new to the area, Playa Guiones offers an unrivaled blend of Costa Rican authenticity, modern convenience, and natural beauty. A long, beautiful bay in the area commonly known as Nosara, Playa Guiones is one of the most sought-after towns in Guanacaste. The flora and fauna are nothing short of astonishing. The surf is excellent and consistent. There is world-renowned yoga. There are adventure activites. And there is a wide array of excellent restaurants. All in one little multi-dimensional town. That’s why people keep coming back!
For those who know the area, the home is located between the beach and the Yoga Institute (a three or four minute walk to each) on the main road that parallels the beach, continuing down from Harbor Reef. The nearest beach entrance puts you out on the beach about 300 yards south of “the palm tree.”

ON THE OUTSIDE:

Gated driveway, covered carport, and secure storage area will make you feel safe and sound from the moment you pull up. Rack for surfboards and beach gear. Outdoor shower makes for a convenient rinse coming back from the beach. Professionally designed tropical landscaping.
The second story patio is the place to congregate, offering a variety of well-furnished “microclimates,” surrounding a beautiful infinity pool. The view from the pool seems to fall into the jungle. Smartly designed layout affords shade, partial shade, and full sun at all parts of the day, and modish lighting at night. There are rocking chairs, lounge chairs, cushions, and a beautiful guanacaste table. Another outdoor shower on patio provides convenience. Patio connects to both kitchen and living room through twin sets of French doors. Cast them open to create an expansive, flowing space between all three.
ON THE INSIDE:
Kitchen is sleek, modern, and spacious. It has ALL the amenities, including top-of-the-line appliances. Those who like to cook and eat in, will be pleasantly surprised. Built-in stove/oven, fridge/freezer w/ice maker, dishwasher, blender, nice cutlery, etc. State-of-the art barbecue on patio completes the package.
Living room establishes the elegant, exotic theme that permeates the house. Comfortable sectional couch will fit the whole family. Good music system for tunes. Imported custom art adds a nice touch.
The master bedroom was designed as a honeymoon suite. All alone on the third floor with two private terraces and wonderful jungle views. Exceptionally comfortable, custom king size bed with white-silk canopy. Large master bathroom, jacuzzi, spacious closet, and chaise lounge are nice complements to the Balinese theme. You can truly get away from it all, even with company.
The second floor guest bedroom has a custom queen sized bed, and beautiful hand-carved art. The kids room, on the same floor, includes two sets of bunk beds (1 full, 3 twins), a row of cabinet cubbies for all the kids stuff, and a television. Both second floor bedrooms have private balconies that look out over the gardens.
CHECK OUT THE CASITA TOO:
If you need more room, or if it’s “just the two of you….” Downstairs with a private entrance is a very nice apartment with living room, full kitchen, and master bedroom. Just as nice as the rest of the home. French doors open out to private patio and garden. Also has A/C and ceiling fans. The Casita can be rented separately or in addition to the main house. Just inquire!
