MANDERBACH LODGE - Number one Canterbury Woods rental at the Peek n Peak Resort for two years in a row. This is the only five bedroom Canterbury Woods vacation home. Five bedrooms, three and a half baths, sleeps 18. This Condo is meant for large groups. It is located on the ski slopes and it has a view of the 9th tee at the front.
First floor: NEW large flat screen TV in living room, wood burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with King and single sleeper sofa, full bath with walk-in shower and separate tub, washer and dryer and extra half bath. Living room has queen sleeper sofa and single sleeper sofa.
Upper floor: Three bedrooms. First bedroom is an enclosed loft bedroom with a queen bed. Second bedroom has pryamid bunk beds with full on bottom and twin on top. This bedroom also has another twin bed. Third bedroom has a queen and a twin bed. Full bath with double sinks.
Lower level: Walk out basement and ski right out your backdoor. Pool table, second living room, bedroom with full bed, full bath, second refrigerator and second dryer. Plenty of hooks and storage for ski/golf equipment.
To calculate total rates - multiple number of days times nightly rate(s). Multiply this number times 1.05 to calculate the rent plus tax. Add $135 to this number.
50% payment required to secure rental. An additional $350 security deposit is required two weeks prior. You will be emailed your security code required to enter the home shortly before your stay. An additional one time cleaning fee of $135 is required.
All resort amenities are available for our guests, including indoor/outdoor swimming pools/hot tub, sauna, fitness center, spa, putt putt, 2 18 hole golf courses, tennis courts and more. We will provide one adult pool card (10 uses per card) and one child pool card (10 uses per card). After the cards have been used, you can purchase additional pool passes at the resort.
EARLY AND LATE CHECKOUTS ARE SOMETIMES AVAILABLE WHEN THERE ARE NOT BACK TO BACK RENTALS. PLEASE CHECK IN CLOSER TO YOUR DATE.

This condo was perfect for my family. The bedrooms have a lot of sleeping options and multiple pull-out couches are available. It is also well-stocked with extra pillows, sheets and blankets. Actually, everytime we were upset because we forgot something at home, we found it in the condo including a hair dryer, blender, dvd (they have tons of dvd's to watch!), spices, etc..... My kids were happy to find a flat screen tv in every room and a pool table in the basement. The location is key - right at the top of one of the hills. Just ski out the door in the morning, down to the Retreat to purchase a lift ticket. It can't get any easier! We had a perfect weekend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

A great ski rental! A perfect location with easy ski-in, ski-out access. We were extremely happy with how accurate the description of the rental was compared to what we actual found when arriving. This spacious condo was just as described. Ski right out your back door with storage for all your equipment. Plenty of space for everyone, teens have their own space downstairs, new flat panel televisions, two washers, dryers and refrigerators! Plenty of towels and nice linens on all the comfy beds! New stove and microwave. Exceptionally clean, can't emphasize that enough(thanks Tracey). Laurie was so easy to work with, very prompt with any questions. The Manderbach Lodge was the destination for a President's Day Weekend ski trip. We had four kids (ages 6, 6, 6, and 4) and twelve adults. The Manderbach Lodge housed us all with plenty of room to spare. The two refrigerators were full as we cooked every meal in house. The home is well equipped with all the items to cook and clean up afterwards. We enjoyed the ski in-ski out aspect of the house as well. We had incredible weather conditions and incredible snow. This was the kids first trip to a "real" resort and their first overnight ski trip. As parents, it was awesome to ski for an hour or two and then come in to warm up. The kids went out two or three times each day. The lodge pool passes also allowed us to mix things up with a dip in the pool. The adults enjoyed 3-4 different ski sessions each day. Part of our group enjoyed the near-by cross country skiing as well...they made it to Pennsylvania and back! We hope to stay at the Manderbach Lodge in the future...it was well worth it!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.

The condo was much larger than expected. Comfortably fit all in our party of 16 with room to spare. Exceptionally clean and well kept. Communication with owner was excellent. Ski in ski out was just as described....mountain was within steps of back door. Overall great experience. Will definitely look to rent again in the future. We would like to thank the owners of the Manderbach lodge for such an exceptional experience. This is our 4th year staying here and once again it was a great time! Love the ski-in, ski-out! The condo was very clean and very well stocked with towels, kitchen supplies and wood for the fireplace. The owners are great to work with! Findley Lake is a quaint little town with some fun shopping! We look forward to our next year's stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Every New Year's, my husband and I bring our 7 children up to the Peak for a get away. We have stayed at a total of 5 different condos over the years, and this one is by far the best. It is CLEAN! This, I find is the most important issue when staying over night with lots of little kids. The room set up is great, the kitchen is easy to move around in and entertain and the location is second to none. Being 'ski on, ski off', my older kids could come and go as they please while the little kids napped. It was an ideal set up. Thank you to Lauri for being so approachable and easy to get a hold of for all questions.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This place is fantastic. Tracey (caretaker) was kind enough to let us in early, which was a huge help with such a large group (17). The place is beautiful. Vaulted ceilings, balcony views of the main room. Nice views of the slopes. Ski out your back door (when the lift is running - was not when we were there) and ski right back when you're done. Make sure you have all wheel drive. Although they plow, when it's snowing hard 2-wheel vehicles have a 50/50 shot at getting up the hill. Everything we needed for a great stay. Thank you Laurie for providing us with a great family ski vacation!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: We purchased our condo in 2004 when we lived in Brecksville, Ohio. We had been vacationing at Peek 'n Peak for many years prior to our purchase. We were particularly interested in finding a condo on the ski slopes with close proximity to the upper golf course. We found this one to be the perfect location. We moved to Charlotte, NC in 2006. Despite our move, we decided to continue to hold onto this property as we love coming back to visit whenever we can. We have a son (18 years) and a daughter (14 years). Laurie and Tom Manderbach
