Was well equipped for cold weather and lots of room for people to sleep with comfortable beds. The owners were easy to work with. Probably would have enjoyed more if we were there for a happier occasion. It was not as well equipped in the kitchen as one rented last year but then cooking was not on the agenda. All in all a good place to stay and great for larger groups with kids, teens.

The listing description was spot on! It was very clean. While I cannot describe it as luxurious, I can definitely call it homey and comfortable. The owners were responsive to every question, no matter how trivial it may have been. We rented this property for a college grad party for my daughter. We had family members arrive from several locations and all were very pleased . So much better than staying in a hotel for 4 nights. We had so much fun playing games and justing being together in a very relaxed place. Those that played golf had a wonderful round. We would recommend this property to anyone~ for sure!!!

I definitely would recommend this property, and we will definitely consider coming back next year if available. Spacious place, wonderful view of the countryside. The layout works well for a large family-the kids could spend time playing video games in the basement, while the 1st floor was well situated for casual conversation. Wireless worked very well, great cable selection, indoor heated pool at the Inn (bottom of the hill) was great. The location is great for side trips-we took a day trip up to Niagara Falls (about a 2 hour drive), went up to Erie a couple of times. Easy to get to from I-90 and I-86. You do need to plan some-the resort is out in the country and a decent sized store is probably a 30 minute drive. My only regret was not bringing my golf clubs-both courses (upper and lower) looked intriguing.

What a great place! Extremely clean and well maintained. I have stayed at ski in ski out condo at 7 springs and Boyne Mountain and this location was by far the best ski in ski out lodge we have stayed at. The ski lift is right next to the condo. We will be renting this place again. Thanks

We rented the condo for a church retreat of youth and adults. The multiple beds and bedrooms made it really easy to divide up the group. Plenty of hot water for showers, Lots of space to relax in the living room and family room downstairs. Two refrigerators easily held all the food for 20 people for 3 days. The walk out balcony, and doors off the family room made it easy to enjoy the snow and ski hill just outside the door. Owner was very helpful and answered all my detailed questions about what was needed, and what I needed to bring extra. I have stayed in several condos, and this was one of the best decorated units I have seen. Overall a great weekend.

Great Fun Is Awaiting

We had our annual girls golf weekend here. 9 ladies with a need to golf, relax and have fun. We accomplished it all. The condo was beautiful and had enough room for all of us to spread out and have our own space. The lower golf course was a challenge and great fun. We utilized the outdoor pool and hot tub while sipping on drinks from the outdoor bar. The water slide was a thrill and was the live music in the Regency Pub at night. Peak n'Peak was hosting the national Saint Bernard Show so we got to see the best of the breed which was an added bonus. Many of us are dog lovers. They also hosted 3 weddings on Saturday so we got to see all the brides taking pictures. What a wonderful we had. We all decided that by far this was the best place we've been and will be back next year. Kudos to the owners for such a well stocked home. We loved it!

We stayed at the Manderbach Lodge for a long weeend for my son's wedding. The lodge is well stocked and kept. It is beautiful inside and out. All my guests had a lovely time and we will consider using it again for a longer time next time. MUCH better than staying in the hotel. The owners are also great to work with.

A wonderful place! We were so pleased to enter the condo and find it to be so clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for our family...9 adults and 7 children (age 6 and under!). The guys enjoyed a day of golf while the gals and kids loved the pools. The kitchen was completely stocked with anything you could possibly need. Thank you, Manderbachs!

What a great place for our 3 generations of family to gather. There is plenty of space and lots of sleeping accommodations. The kitchen is the best we've encountered in 14 years of renting vacation homes in NY State. The property is well maintained, clean and modern. We will definitely return.

This is the second year that we have stayed at the Manderbach lodge, and we LOVE it! The Manderbachs offer the best value on the mountain, and you can't beat the ski-in and ski-out location! We stay for 5 nights and have the best time. There is more than enough room for the 9 of us, with room to spare. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there is plenty of room to eat at the large dining room table. The unit has been updated a bit since last year with new paint and furniture (not that it needed it). The Manderbachs are very easy to work with and very accomodating. I highly recommend staying here!

This is the second time we stayed at this wonderful condo. Our multi family group has been coming to Peek n Peak for over 20 years, and this is the best condo we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed property #195081 very much. We had great snow on the slopes and a light Christmas crowd. Five adults who ski could not have had a better ski-in, ski-out situation. The condo was decorated for the holidays including outside lights which were a nice touch. Amenities we especially liked were the wood burning fireplace, televisions and DVD players in every bedroom, a selection of delightful DVDs, 3 distinct bedroom levels with their own bathrooms, board games, good gas grill, and small pool table. The owners are delightful to work with. We'll be back. Beware, the hill closes at 4:00 on Christmas Eve.

This is the second holiday season that my sisters and I have spent with our families and our Dad and great Aunt at Manderbach Lodge. We had an a beautiful, snowy weekend with great ski conditions and a comfy spot to sit by the fire as a family afterwards. This place is perfect for large group...there are plenty of great beds, pull out sofas and ample bathroom space for everyone....and the kitchen is equipped to serve up meals for a crowd too. We can't say enough about the care, cleanliness and attention to detail of this spot...we're going back next year as it's our new family favorite!

Went for a short fall getaway with 4 other families. This condo was perfect for us. It was very clean and definitely not lacking amenities; the owners covered all the bases. It was roomy and the downstairs living area provided a nice retreat for the kids. We felt that the price was reasonable for an economical split between families. We would stay again.

We rented the home for a family get-together of 20 people (13 adults and 7 kids). I researched a lot of homes and decided to go with this one based on the positive reviews. So glad I did! The house was fantastic...it was spacious, clean, and had everything we could have needed. We had a gorgeous, hot weekend so having access to the pools for the kids was a definite plus! The deck area was great to sit and have coffee or lunch and the yard was big enough for the kids to play ball or hang out. We had plenty of beds for all of us, and even a crib for the baby! We will definitely keep this house in mind for future get-togethers. Laurie was great to work with and answered all my questions! Thank you for a great stay!

While attending a large family reunion at Findley Lake, four siblings and their families rented homes at the Peak. Manderbach Lodge was our choice and it turned out to be perfect for our family's needs...very clean (important for us with babies and toddlers crawling around), comfortably furnished, attractively appointed, and well equipped (kitchen,etc.). Access to swimming pools and an indoor playground was a plus. We especially appreciate Laurie answering all our pre-visit questions in a timely manner. She and the Lodge made our first vacation rental experience a very positive one.

Owner response:This was Mike and Andrea's second stay at the Manderbach Lodge. Originally they planned to come in January, however due to a family emergency they had to cancel. It was less than a week away and they had already paid us in full. Per the contract, we were not required to give them a refund, however we worked with them to find another time they could come and stay that worked with their schedule. I am glad to hear that they would like to return again.

We occupied the Manderbach Lodge condo the weekend of March 19th, for an adults only weekend, and had a fabulous time! When we opened the door, we knew we had chosen the right place. It is very open and roomy with alot of anemities provided for you so you don't need to bring a ton of stuff from home. It is a very cozy and warm place and we all felt at home. We drew numbers to see which bedroom each couple ended up with, which obviously we all wanted the master bedroom, but no complaints for any of the other bedrooms, they were all fine and comfortable. None of us are skiers so I can't comment on the skiing, but it was fun watching the skiers off the back deck, it was a gorgeous weekend and lots of skiers were going down with just shorts and tshirts on.Thanks to you Laurie and your family for sharing your home with us, it was exactly what we needed, we have alot of happy and funny memories to last us till next year. This was our second time staying at the Manderbach Lodge for a ski vacation and we were not disappointed. The unit is very spacious and has all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. The ski in/ski out basement is great and there is plenty of storage locations for your skis and snowboards. The location of the unit is also good, especially if there are first time skiers/boarders as there is a nice gentle slope nearby for practicing. All in all, this is a great place to bring family and friends for a nice fun weekend of skiing. We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful vacation that was defenitely worth the wait. The house was also great because it could easily fit four families and we were kept entertained all the time! We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with 19 family members to celebrate the Christmas holiday at Manderbach Lodge. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed with plenty of kitchen equipment, bedding and comfy beds! We enjoyed a snowy weekend and did some snow boarding, snow shoeing and sledding. We had a great family vacation at Manderbach Lodge! This home has everything that you need for a complete, relaxing vacation. The bedrooms are large and private, the bathrooms are plentiful, and the basement is so big that we did not hear much from the kids except for the faint sound of the pool table. What a great Condo! We enjoyed a weekend stay along with three other families. Even with 17 people there was room to spare. The kids all enjoyed hanging out in the game room in the finished basement, while the adults enjoyed a peaceful weekend upstairs. The pegs and shelving in the ski-out basement made keeping everybodys gear accounted for so much easier. We found the condo well equipped for cooking and serving some pretty extravagent meals over the weekend. We have stayed at other condos at the peek, but none compare to this. We cant wait to stay again.

This was our 4th year staying in the Manderbauch's condo. We love everything about it especially the ski-in-ski-out basement. My husband loved the new large flat screen tv in the family room. The Manderbach Lodge is the perfect ski home at Peek'n Peak. Great bedding, large dining table, well stocked kitchen for serving large crowds, wireless internet, cozy living area and an awesome ski room with slope-side access. We had three condos for our group and used the Manderbach Lodge as the main gathering place and it worked out perfectly. The ski room has plenty of pegs for ski gear, a boot rack, ski racks for skis and a dryer to quickly dry and warm the snow gear. The Manderbach's provide one of the best rental experieces possbile by thinking out and anticipating renters needs well beyond what is customary. We loved it and hope to be back soon!

We just returned from a four night, wonderful stay at the Manderbach Lodge. It could not have been more perfect. The slopeside location is perfect for families with young children who need to take frequent breaks. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for a large crowd. The open floor plan on main level makes entertaining easy and fun while still having upper and lower levels for privacy. Condo is very clean with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The wireless internet is a huge plus for those who can't completely leave work behind! We appreciate the extra effort the Manderbachs have put forth to make this condo accomodating for their guests. We can't wait to stay again!
