Perched atop a picturesque arroyo, Quinta Graciosa is a new, two bedroom home with tall ceilings, large windows, wonderful light and beautiful westward views.
Quinta Graciosa is a comfortable one level home, built in 2005, in the Atascadero neighborhood of San Miguel. Located a five-minute walk from all the necessities at the new Soriana and Liverpool mall, you’ll have a supermarket, a cyber café, movie theater, banks and several small restaurants nearby. It’s not downtown but it’s much more quiet and private and a perfect place to come back to at the end of your day.
The house is loaded with natural light. Large window walls bring southern and western exposures to the ample living/dining room area. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and blender. The automatic washer and dryer are conveniently located between the kitchen and the two-car garage. The house is also completely wheelchair accessible, including ramps to the lower garden.
The “outside” rooms are equally comfortable. The interior courtyard off the living room has a beautiful fountain and offers private outdoor sunning, a perfect spot for morning coffee. The patio on the western side of the living room has a table and chairs for lovely outdoor dining with views of the private garden, arroyo, and western mountains a hundred miles away. (San Miguel sunsets are spectacular!) The rooftop patio is made for sun worshipers and star gazers with a 360 degree view.
The large bedrooms are located on either side of the living area with large windows to the interior courtyard. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, fireplace, walk-in closet and private bath with Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has 2 double beds, a boveda ceiling, large closets and private bathroom with a shower.
There is a taxi stand and bus service within a five-minute walk. Taxi fare to any part of town is 30 pesos ($3.00 US) and the bus is even less ,4 pesos (40 cents US). The center of town is only a ten minute ride by either taxi or bus. If you feel like a round of golf, Club Malanquin is a ten minute drive. And the fabulous Instituto Allende, for every kind of art class, is a short taxi drive or bus ride away. The beautiful botanical garden “El Charco” is a convenient 10 minute walk. The maid, Cecilia, comes Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30 to 4:30 to clean the kitchen, the bathrooms and the floors. |
