Good Condo, Great Place
Good Condo, Great Place
I have to say that I was a little skeptical when booking this due to the low cost and few reviews, but it was a good condo and great location. It is well furnished and has almost everything you will need. If I had a complaint, it's that the shower heads were low for me (6'1"), but of course this is minor. My kids loved Hilton Head, and we will definitely return. Overall, this condo is one of the best values in the resort.

We're heading back again!
We're heading back again!
This is a great villa with an excellent location - just a short walk to the best beach on Hilton Head! Comfortable and clean, with 3 tv's, Wi-Fi, and modern furnishings. The large dining table is a big plus for those times you eat at home. The owner leaves beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, etc. so you don't need to bring as much stuff. Full sized new refrigerator holds plenty of food and drinks! Double wide balcony and convenient first floor location close to the Admirals Row pool, which is like a private pool. Friendly, helpful owners are easy to contact if you need anything or have any questions. Stayed in March and can't wait to get back there again in August! Great vacation spot....plenty to do with tennis, golf, biking, shopping, and Savannah close by.....but it's hard to leave that beautiful beach once you settle in!

Nice beach condo
Nice beach condo
We enjoyed our week at this condo. Following is a list of pros and cons. PROS: Resort well maintained and very quiet with plenty of parking near condo. Beach is nice, with some shells and pretty sunrise. Balcony very large with sturdy chairs and table, laundry drying rack, and 2 ceiling fans, which were great since it was very hot when we where there. New kitchen appliances were nice and kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots, pans, etc. Large dining table will easily seat 6. Free wi-fi in condo!!! Large bedroom closets. Beach toys and chairs available in hall closet. Good restaurants: Crazy Crab in Hilton Head and Pirates House in Savannah. Lots of well-priced thrift shops in Hilton Head (especially Bargain Box). CONS: Bedrooms smaller than they look on website, especially twin bedroom. Can't see beach or ocean from deck. Cell service is spotty on the island - we had to go outside on balcony to make calls. Lots of mosquitos on the island - take insect repellent and flyswatter. Only 3 towels, washcloths, handtowels in each bathroom, and we would have liked to have a couple more kitchen towels. Some mildew in bathrooms. Lockbox on door was a little hard to figure out, especially when putting key back in lockbox on departure. Overall, for the price at this time of year on Hilton Head, it was a pretty good deal.

Owner response: The bathroom has been totally remodeled with tile floors and a granite counter top. The dark spot on the base board in the bathroom was not mold, it is where the water from the sink sometimes spashes out and has caused the paint to peal off and the wood to have a little rot. We repaired this Feb. 2012. We do a spring cleaning and inspect everything in May. There is no mildew in the condo.
The condo was very nicely renovated, w/ beautiful and very comfortable decor. Plenty of room for our family of four. This is the nicest condo we've stayed in at HHB&T, and for a great price. Found a wonderful new restaurant: Roastfish & Cornbread. The pool at Admirals Row was nice and private and uncrowded. Only complaint would be that the refrigerator needs to be replaced (shelves were broken and didn't seem to keep food cold enough). Otherwise, we hope to return next year :).
