Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2006
Both my husband and I grew up in the Croswell-Lexington area. It is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. We love the Mid-west and the Great Lakes, in particular. It is a friendly area with a small -town feel.
Why the Owner Chose Lexington
The quaint village of Lexington is picture-perfect! It has many cute little unique shoppes and some great places to eat. The Music Theater is accoustically perfect and adds a new and interesting dimension with ever changing "acts". During the Fall and Summer the village offers Music in the Park along with many festivals (Margaritaville/Bach/Fall Flannel/Christmas Tree Lighting)and Art Fairs on the weekends. There's always something to see and do here. Yet it's still small.....
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage-(Year 'Round)
The cottage is situated RIGHT on the beach. You can experience glorious sunrises--- while laying in bed! Bonfires, BBQ's and bike riding.... the list goes on and on. The cottage has been called "a Barbie house" (more than once) with it's pastel colors and cottage-like furnishings. It's comfortable and clean. And, even though it's in the village and well-within walking distance to EVERYTHING, it still is quiet and secluded in feel. Perfect for a get away any time of year- the Lake is ever changing!

Your home is LOVELY. Perfect location. We all brought back a sense of peace with us that you rarely have living in the rush of the city and working full time. I had the pink bedroom and would wake up to the sun rising over the lake, ummm, perfect. Our five coffee mugs were sitting on the counter when we got there- with lots of good teas and coffee- your towels and linens are spectacular- we all hope to book at vaious times during the next year! We shared the Mac and cheese as an appetizer at the Vintage- YES!!! Thank you for the experience.
