If skiing or snowboarding on 2,208 acres spread across four mountains isn't enough, here are some other activities to keep your winter vacation in Breckenridge interesting and exciting.
Gold Runner Alpine Coaster: This coaster offers a new, thrilling way to get down the mountain. Riders sit in two-seater cars and control their speed around twists and dips on coaster track perched about four feet above the ground. The track meanders through the forest and alongside the ski runs on Peak 8. It's such a blast, you'll want to do it again. Store your skis at the entrance and ride in ski boots.
Dogsledding: This unique adventure gives you the opportunity to ride in the sled pulled by frisky Siberian huskies and then be the musher who runs the dogs. Guides teach you how. The tour goes for an hour on a plowed track through the woods just outside of town.
Snowmobiling: Explore the backcountry on a new 550cc Polaris snowmobile that you drive in one- two- or three-hour tours with Good Times Adventures. These fancy machines are equipped with hand warmers and back rests; snowmobile suits and boots are available for free.

We had a wonderful time at Gold Run and the location was ideal. The owners were incredibly flexible and easy to work with! We had a little trouble figuring out the fancy entertainment system, but directions were provided and we don't have any complaints on the quality! Our group is already asking if we can go back next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property has everything you will need for an awesome vacation: two fireplaces, a pool table, two living room areas with plenty of seating, a huge dining room table and kitchen and last but not least a large hot tub. Our family reunion was perfect and we had so much space to spread out in this huge and luxurious house. This house is one of the best deals we have rented when it comes to vacation homes.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Place was fantastic, had minor issues with some of the appliances but no big deal at all, place was great, clean, large space, hot tob was awesome, and the location is literally 5-10 (tops driving back in 8 inches of snow) awesome from downtown breck. Would definitely come backRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I was part of a group of four families, each of which has one young child, who stayed here for a week. It was a great time! The house was very modern, clean, and well furnished. It was perfect for four families, with lots of common space for us and the kids to play. The house is close to Breckenridge for skiing and checking out the town, and the driveway and hill just outside the front door were perfect for child sledding and adult sledding alike! I'd definitely recommend this house for multi-family vacationers who have young children, or for multiple couples/friends without children.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.

This was a family trip and we stayed a week at this beautiful home. I was elated when we walked in and saw that the pictures were exactly like the house once we got there. The house is a wonderful size and my family of 12 slept comfortably and were not on top of each other. The location is great if you are interested in hanging out in Breckinridge! The adults hung out on the middle floor and the older kids enjoyed their time in the basement with the pool table. The place was stocked with dishes, extra towels, blankets & pillows! It was clean and well kept! And we even made use of the hot tub! I never write reviews but my family and I truly enjoyed the size of the house and the feel of it. Modern with a cabin feel...we loved it will definitely recommend this to friends and other family!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at Gold Run - spacious for our group of 8. We especially enjoyed use of the kitchen, pool table and hot tub. If you are renting a vehicle, we would recommend getting four-wheel drive! Also, this property is in close proximity to skiing, downtown Breck and many hiking trails. Marty was quick to respond with any questions that we had about the property during our stay. This is a great place to stay for groups!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I stayed at this property with a couple friends for a long weekend. The place was wonderful. It was large enough for everyone to have their own privacy and comfortable space. The hot tub was nice after a long day on the slopes or other activities outside. It is just a few minutes from Breckenridge where we went skiing, sledding, and snowmobiling over the weekend. The place was clean when we arrived and the kitchen had all things necessary to cook several different meals. The property looks just as it does in the pictures and the owner was helpful with questions before and during our stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family really enjoyed spending the holidays here. We went snowboarding in breckenridge and sledding A few feet from the house! The house was perfect with its' three levels, pool table and hot tub. Great place, and only a short drive from downtown Breck! I really liked that all of us had our own bathroom. The only negative that I can think of is that the thermostat in the bedroom downstairs wasn't working properly. The room was about 10 degrees warmer than the set point. Everything else was great!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great house! Well equipped for entertaining (seperate lving aread in walkout basement perfect for some seperation... if needed). Hot tub - wonderful, clean. Location - very quick trip from Breck. Easy Overall great place. Will return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
