We are only 10 miles from Jack Frost/Big Boulder, and we have all the amenities of ski rentals (and the bonus of being lakefront, so you have extra privacy) but at a much lower price! Save your money for the slopes, then come home to relax in the hot tub or around a fire in the firepit! (Most places don't even allow outdoor fires anymore.)
If you're planning a summer rental--don't wait too long! By spring, many of our weeks will be already blocked. A small deposit will hold your dates, and we are very easy to work with if you need to change your dates. Lakefront properties are the first to rent in the summer!
This great lakefront has a brand new kitchen with all new appliances, and there is also a new dual Lazy Boy reclining set for the living room, so there are 4 reclining loungers lined up for watching TV for you vacation couch potatoes! There is also a hot tub, pool table room, broadband internet access, so don't forget your laptop! In fact, if you bring your wireless router, we have the modem, so that way you can have wirelesss access, too! There is a fire pit with surrounding chairs and your own dock with 2 boats. This home is convenient to I-80 and the PA Turnpike, has plenty of amenities and is very well maintained. Your group can spend the entire week on site and no one will be complaining that there's nothing to do! There's plenty to keep everyone busy right on site! We even have a full size non-violent video arcade game (Klax) and a dart board.
The lving room/ dining room and kitchen have an open set up, so your group can all gather together for meals, TV watching, playing games, etc. and not be split up in separate areas. And we supply lots of extras others don't--while you're relaxing in your recliner, you can watch our upgraded cable TV, and we also supply plenty of recent movie DVDs and tapes. We have 2 gas grills on the deck so you can really enjoy the outdoor experience. The hot tub is outside on the downstairs patio, completely covered overhead so you can use it even in a snowstorm or the pouring rain. It is located in the back area of the house overlooking the lake, so you have privacy and a nice view, too. And you'l be glad to know the owner maintains hot tubs as a side business, so our hot tubs are always clean and in operating order!
We are very close (about 10 miles) from Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski areas. We're also near the H2000 indoor water park, and about 30 minutes from the Mohegan Sun Casino, Jim Thorpe or The Outlets. For the adventurous group, whitewater rafting on the Lehigh River is really close--only two miles away! We are also right by the Lehigh biking/hiking trail (26 miles long next to the Lehigh River) and horseback riding. For the summer, there is a large in-wall A/C unit that covers the entire living room, dining room and kitchen area, and the nights are usually cool enough that you can fall asleep with the windows open listening to the sounds of nature.
We keep our houses well stocked and in good repair, and with plenty of extras others ignore. The kitchen has a new refrigerator and flat top range, and there is a full 12' wall of shelving which can easily hold all your non-perishable groceries. No one has this much convenient storage space! We supply plenty of good quality pots, pans and other kitchen utensils. Our dining room table can seat 10, and there is also other seating in addition to outdoor tables on the deck and patio.
If you have a really large group, we also have the home right next door and a third lakefront home around the corner (easy walking distance). Be sure to check the calendars for VRBO#354053 and #17854 if you are looking to rent more than one property at the same time.

Best vacation my whole family had in quite awhile. -Listing description was accurate. -Listing photos were accurate, But the house was a lot bigger then I thought, which was Great! -The property grounds are woodsy & very nice. -The house was very clean & well kept. -The owners were was very helpful with all my questions & concerns. -I would definitely recommend this rental! --5 Stars in my book! My Family & I had a really nice vacation here. 7 days of good times, we rarely left the property. Lots of room for everyone. My Children & Grandchildren loved it! In the morning, breakfast, then go fishing and boating off the dock, lunch, then hot tub & fishing again. Playing games outside. Dinner time, then the fire pit outside, doing hotdogs & marshmellows on a stick. At night inside, two big screen TVs, with a very big selection of dvd's. I sat mainly at the dock overlooking the lake or on the balcony overlooking everything, it was beautiful. This house has plenty of room for everyone. We were a group of 6 adults & 5 children. I did do alot of research to find this rental, and it was well worth it. We're going to book this place again next summer. If you do go out, there are plenty of local stores & eaterys. We went to the local market and cooked on the 2 grills at the cabin, instead of going out. I highly recommed this rental for a family vacation! THANKYOU!

My son recently graduated from high school and asked for a trip for his gift instead of a party. When searching online for a place to rent I was becoming very disappointed, every one I e-mailed quoted me a much higher price than on the site. I was about to give up when I got my e-mail from Mike and Celeste, not only was it warm and welcoming, but the price was exactly what they had on the site. Once we arrived, I was in awe!!! The place was so much nicer than the pictures led me to believe, it was also much bigger than I expected! Mike greeted us apon our arrival and showed us around, assuring us that if we need ANYTHING, just call his cell, as we did a few times, and he was right there to help out. We met Celeste during the week, these people treat you like they've known your forever! I am not much of an outdoors kinda person, but after being there, I'll never go to the beach again! This was like HEAVEN! So warm, so welcoming, and so much to do! With 11 days there, not a minute went by that we did not have something to do. There were NEW movies to watch, fishing was amazing, you couldn't cast out without a bite, darts, pool table, video game, stereo system through out the house, enough room for everyone to do something at all times and not be on top of each other. And the must have for my son, a jacuzzi, which was so wonderful, we had a few rainy nights but with the roof over the hot tub, nothing stopped us! We built fires at the pit, made smores, and enjoyed much needed time together! I have posted the pics I took on facebook and have already had to post the link to the house 6 times because of people asking about it, and I'm only home one day!!! I plan on making this our yearly, if not more, trip! I thank you again Mike and Celeste! You truely made your home, our home! See you again next year!!! Unless I can pull off a few days off of work this year again!!! LOL

Four couples spent a weekend at this lovely home and had an excellent time. The home is spacious, well-laid out and very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is nicely stocked with appliances and good quality pots and pans that came in handy for our family-style dinners that we prepared. The hot tub, pool table, dart board and fire pit were an added bonus and we spent a great deal of time relaxing in front of the many fireplaces in the home and watching one of the hundreds of DVDs that are supplied. While I did not get the chance to meet the homeowers (others in the party did) I was told how helpful and welcoming they were. The entire group was very pleased with our stay! Thanks for everything!

Super House for the Super Bowl Weekend

Our group (10 people total) stayed for Super Bowl weekend. We chose this house because they allow pets so we could bring our 2 pugs. Everyone commented on how nice the house was and at all the amenities. That is saying something because it's hard to please everyone when you have a large group. It's very nicely furnished, clean, and it had everything we wanted ~ hot tub, pool table, 2 TV areas (upstairs and downstairs). We had a fire in the back yard fire pit which was a fun extra thing to do. The lake was beautiful and the setting was quiet and private. Even though it’s secluded, it’s right off a main road and very close to Route 80. Everyone had a great time and we all want to come back again! Thanks Mike and Celeste!
