Deep, deep discount--only $1000 a week for either open July week---please check calendar,and note that July weekly rentals are only from Friday to Friday. We will take $750 for a 3 night weekend for either of these July weeks, also.
This home is convenient to I-80 and the PA Turnpike, has plenty of amenities and is well maintained. Your family can spend the entire week on site and the kids won't be complaining that there's nothing to do! Why rent a place and then have to spend extra money to entertain everyone? At night, you can even have a fire in the pit in the yard (we are in one of the few Pocono areas that allow it).
Should you want to check out the area, we're near the H20 indoor water park, and about 30 minutes from the Mohegan Sun Casino. If you have a really large group, we also have the home right next door and a third lakefront home around the corner (easy walking distance). Be sure to check the calendars for VRBO#19004 and #17854 if you are looking to rent more than one property at the same time. Summer especially fills in fast!
This house has an outdoor six-person hot tub, a full deck with 2 gas grills and furniture, pool table, gas fireplace, Washer and Dryer, and numerous other amenities to make your group outing special. There's plenty for the kids to do, too. Fishing, boating (two boats and life jackets are supplied), and even a full-size video arcade game (non-violent KLAX) in case of rain. For the adventurous group, whitewater rafting on the Lehigh River is only two miles away! Sorry, no young groups or PROMS unless Mom & Dad are willing to sign the lease.
We keep our houses well stocked and in good repair, and with plenty of amenities others ignore. The kitchen has a new refrigerator and flat top range, and there is a full 12' wall of shelving which can easily hold all your non-perishable groceries. No one has this much convenient storage space! We supply plenty of good quality pots, pans and other kitchen utensils. Our dining room table can seat 10, and there is also other seating in addition to outdoor tables on the deck and patio.
The hot tub is outside on the downstairs patio. It is completely covered overhead so you can go in the tub in the pouring rain and not get wet (well, not wet from rain). It is also located in the private back area of the house which overlooks the lake. And because it is only about 5 feet from the downstairs sliding glass door, you can EASILY get in it in the winter. Even more importantly, the owner maintains hot tubs as a side business, so our hot tubs are always clean and always in operating order!
Approximately 10 miles (on high speed Route 80) to Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski areas, so this is a good house for skiers who want more privacy than is available right around the slopes---you don't have to worry about loud partiers when you're resting up for your morning run! It's so much more peaceful to look out over the frozen lake instead of your neighbor's parking lot, too.
