This unique private estate features breathtaking 180 degree views of the Pacific coastline. You can see Punta Sayulita to the south and several small beaches to the north. Because Casa Melissa is located on a point over the ocean, the views are uninterrupted and spectacular. Located just one mile north of the center of San Pancho, you can easily walk to town on the wide sandy beach.
Amenities of this villa include a 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms with hotel quality beds/box springs, 3 bathrooms, a private lighted tennis court and a heated "Infinity" swimming pool. Casa Melissa is for those who want to get away from it all, to relax in luxury surrounded by the natural beauty of the Mexican Riviera.
During the day watch whales, dolphins and rays pass below as you enjoy a drink on the terrace or relax in the pool. In the evening the sunsets are breathtaking! Casa Melissa is tropical Mexico as you dreamed it would be.
All bedrooms in Casa Melissa have ocean views and remote controlled air-conditioning. All rooms (except one bathroom) have ocean views and ceiling fans.
The Casita bedroom suite has a queen bed, ceiling fans, air conditioner, full bathroom and a kitchenette. It also has a large ocean view terrace overlooking the tennis court. This is only rented as part of Casa Melissa. You would never share this beautiful estate with other renters.
The property has a whole house water purification system, maid service Monday through Saturday and a restaurant trained cook to prepare dinner Monday through Friday evenings. The staff will even grocery shop for you before you arrive - you just pay for the groceries! All those things make your stay at Casa Melissa a true vacation.
Whales migrate between October and February. See them from the terrace or get close-up on a boat in the Bay of Banderas.
As a nature lover you can enjoy tropical birds flying by or go on a bird watching tour. Observe iguanas, geckos, tejones or tour the turtle nursery and help release the baby turtles into the ocean. Ocean kayaking, snorkeling and hiking in the palm jungle or walking on the mile long sandy beach are the best ways to enjoy the tropical environment.
The town of San Pancho has many shops and a variety of restaurants within easy walking distance. There are many events during the year such as; national surfing contest, annual music festival, holiday music and art festival after Christmas, Art Walk every Friday night in the winter. Or rent a car and explore the whole area.
Besides the fabulous views, Casa Melissa has a private lighted tennis court. The tennis court is made out of an Australian product that is sand and astro-turf. It plays like clay but is ready for play 15 minutes after the rain ends (very important in the summer). The other great thing about the court is that it slows the game down - great if you are playing mixed doubles. What makes this tennis court unique is that it has an ocean view! Try not to get distracted by the pelicans flying over the ocean as you play the game.
Casa Melissa has three bedrooms for the quoted price. The fourth bedroom in the main house and the nearby Casita bedroom suite are available for rent for an extra charge.

Why the Owner Chose San Francisco (San Pancho)
We were lucky enough to visit San Pancho before it was "discovered". When we saw this property with its incredible views we knew we had to buy it. We see more of the coast/ocean then any other property in the area! It is magical. Arriving at Casa Melissa and looking at the view is immediately relaxing. My favorite thing is to swim in the pool mesmerized by the views in each direction.
My husband and I disagreed on only one thing - which was the better view, the view to the south looking at Punta Sayulita or the view to the north looking at a series of small beaches. So most of the house has views to the south, but the master bedroom has views in both directions and has a balcony on the north side as well as opening to the terrace on the south side. In the mornings I sit in the dining room looking north and he sits at the opposite end of the table looking south. We worked it out.

We are a family of 4. We have always spent part of the winter in Mexico. When we discovered San Pancho we knew this was the place where we wanted to build a house. We built the house to fit our family, so each of the kids had their own bedroom and could have a friend come down and vacation with them, plus we have an extra bedroom for the parents.

This is my fourth trip to Casa Melissa. Each one has its own magic: the whales right off the coast that you can watch from the patio or infinity pool, the magnificent views, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach below, Isabel and Yeyo’s yummy cooking,the incredible light and the sunsets, the sweet town of San Pancho… It all adds up to a relaxing and restorative time in this vacation paradise.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Hi Melissa- I just wanted to send a note and let you know that our time at Casa Melissa was wonderful and so relaxing. The view from the house is so incredible that we couldn't even think about leaving the house . . . so we pretty much stayed at the house the entire time. My mother, brother and sister-in-law are fortunate to still be there even though I had to return home. I will return to Casa Melissa but when that will be will not be soon enough.

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our visit to Casa Melissa and all of your hospitality while we were here. We also loved all of the great meals that Yeyo prepared for us. One last thing…. The mattress in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable. I could not tell what brand it was though – do you have any idea? I would love to get one for home. I don’t think that I have slept that good in months. Of course, the waves helped.

Melissa I have been meaning to tell you what a wonderful time we had at your house. We have so many pictures if you need any. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had and I am sure we will go back.We made friends with a vulture, talked to seagulls and watched the tejones reality show! Great wildlife entertainment.

The weather is fabulous here, 86 degrees out and Isabel had everything so nicely done as usual. We have been playing 2-3 sets every morning, so we are getting our exercise. My favorite part, reading the rest of the afternoon by the pool. Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous spot with us. We had a wonderful meal at San Pancho Café last night. We really enjoy the musicians there. Eating in tonight and playing bridge.

Hi Melissa, I just wanted to send a quick email to say thanks for sharing your amazing home with us last week. We had an incredible time and now understand why you have so many repeat visitors. From Isabel and Yeyo to the friendly staff at all of the restaurants we visited, the people there are just as special as the surroundings.
