This is my fourth trip to Casa Melissa. Each one has its own magic: the whales right off the coast that you can watch from the patio or infinity pool, the magnificent views, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach below, Isabel and Yeyo’s yummy cooking,the incredible light and the sunsets, the sweet town of San Pancho… It all adds up to a relaxing and restorative time in this vacation paradise.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Hi Melissa- I just wanted to send a note and let you know that our time at Casa Melissa was wonderful and so relaxing. The view from the house is so incredible that we couldn't even think about leaving the house . . . so we pretty much stayed at the house the entire time. My mother, brother and sister-in-law are fortunate to still be there even though I had to return home. I will return to Casa Melissa but when that will be will not be soon enough.

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our visit to Casa Melissa and all of your hospitality while we were here. We also loved all of the great meals that Yeyo prepared for us. One last thing…. The mattress in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable. I could not tell what brand it was though – do you have any idea? I would love to get one for home. I don’t think that I have slept that good in months. Of course, the waves helped.

Melissa I have been meaning to tell you what a wonderful time we had at your house. We have so many pictures if you need any. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had and I am sure we will go back.We made friends with a vulture, talked to seagulls and watched the tejones reality show! Great wildlife entertainment.

The weather is fabulous here, 86 degrees out and Isabel had everything so nicely done as usual. We have been playing 2-3 sets every morning, so we are getting our exercise. My favorite part, reading the rest of the afternoon by the pool. Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous spot with us. We had a wonderful meal at San Pancho Café last night. We really enjoy the musicians there. Eating in tonight and playing bridge.

The Casa was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed there before. I read about Casa Melissa on their website and was impressed with what I saw. We were met at the airport and driven to the Casa. It was just as pictured only better. On a cliff, the beautiful home, heated pool, lighted tennis court, unbelievable sunsets, ocean views, well maintained landscapeing. We could not have asked for more. The maid service and chef who prepared 4 dinners for us was just great. Wonderful vacation for us and we are looking forward to returning

We have really enjoyed our time at your beautiful home here. A lot of fun at the polo for my birthday last night and tons of good tennis and exploring time. As we think about heading back to CA tomorrow there has been lots of discussion about coming back. We are actually trying to plan more than a week ahead for a change. We would like to come for .........again next year from Sat to Mon if possible.

Hello Melissa, I was up to send you a mail to tell you how we have a great time in your house. We love San Pancho and your house is absolutly perfect. Isabel & Yeyo are super too. In fact we went to El Cafe Del Mar two days ago, and to tell you the story - we heard of San Pancho because last year I worked on a movie in Belgium with the brother of Bruno (the owner of Cafe Del Mar). We were looking for a nice place with no tourists and Tom told me we should go to San Pancho. And this place of Mexico is really fantastic.

We had a wonderful week at Casa Melissa. You have a beautiful home. Our 14 year old said it best when he said, “Wow, it looks like people really live here.”I am sure your kids found Casa Melissa to be a wonderful home to go to on vacation. Many great memories I’m sure. Also, San Pancho is a wonderful place. The number of wonderful restaurants’ is amazing for a small town. This was our second trip there since April. We made it back home late last night to Oklahoma. We had a wonderful time at your place. We knew it would be nice but it exceeded our expectations in every way. I must compliment you on your pool there. The choice of tile color was perfect as well as the design. Your pool dominated our discussions for at least an hour a day. Basically we are in awe of your place. I think my future son-in-law contacted you about spending their honeymoon week at Casa Melissa in June but I looked at your calendar and I think you're already booked for the week they wanted (June 25-June 30). Isabel and Yeyo were wonderful and so nice. We also the saw the big iguana the day before we left, sunning itself on a cliff. That was the icing on the cake.

I was about to write to you to tell you what a great time we had! As Jim put it- the view could not be better anywhere else in the world! Isabel took great care of us, including Spanish and Salsa lessons for our girls! Her patience with them was awesome (and her meals were incredible). Again, we had a terrific time! Each year, as we arrive at the front door of Casa Melissa, we find that we are already thinking of coming back. After so many return visits, as we drive through San Pancho and up the hill to Casa Melissa, it feels like we are "coming home" once again. Everything seems so wonderfully familiar. We will always appreciate the opportunity to R & R in such a breathtaking place. My wife was sooo happy with everything, I looked like a hero for taking us there!! She is still raving about Yeyo's cooking (carne asada was the best, and the juevos rancheros breakfast - with such a view!!!) Thanks again, and we'ed love to return soon with some friends to share the fun. We also stayed in Sayulita, and found that San Pancho was much more appealing to us. Dear Melissa, I just wanted to write and tell you what an amazing trip we had and your gorgeous house made it wonderful.We were totally blown away by the view every day and rarely ventured into town because we loved it so much!!! The areas of San Pancho and Sayulita are incredible finds and we actually looked at a few pieces of property there..Everyone made us feel like locals and we went at the perfect time(before the crowds).The last day we got to see a whale.... Isabel and Yeyo are great cooks,tour guides,and all together wonderful people.They were at our beck and call and we enjoyed their company,along with Martin and Rosilta...The meal they prepared for us was delightful and my husband was shocked and thrilled.

Andy and I just wanted to thank you for the absolutely wonderful time at Casa Melissa. What a breath-taking paradise! We truly loved every minute. We enjoyed getting to know Yeyo and Isabel, meeting their three children and visiting the various nearby villages. We ended up asking them to cook three delicious meals during the week ... we soon were to discover that the conversation was every bit as a special as the food. :) The margaritas, pina coladas, salsa, guacamole, red snapper, chiles, and shrimp fajitas were delicious. We especially enjoyed the tennis courts. Ended up playing about 5 hours a day. It was soooooo much fun. Played every morning and evening! What a plus to the week. Enjoyed the view, the wildlife (we counted 10 critters), the sunsets, the infinity pool

I just came back to work today. I only want to say thank you to you and your husband for share with us your beautiful house. We spent a very great vacation. I told my husband when I was stand up in front of the swimming pool that I couldn´t imagine that a place like that could exist. The house is most beautiful than I coud imagine when I saw the pictures in internet. The peace I felt in the afternoons watching the sun going down can´t be described…….
