The moment you walk through the front door of this modern log cabin – you will surely think you've been given the moon and a handful of starry amenities to boot! With four bedrooms, “It’s A Wonderful Life” will accommodate 12-15 people comfortably and is sure to make your life…”wonderful!” That's right, even Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed would love the amenities and beauty built into this wonderful cabin.
Referencing the classic movie “It’s a Wonderful Life,” George Bailey (played by Jimmy Stewart) asks Mary Hatch (played by Donna Reed) “What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I’ll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That’s a pretty good idea. I’ll give you the moon, Mary.”

Relax and unwind – gaze at the incredible mountain views, sink into the 5-person hot tub on the wrap around deck, kick back on one of two decks in our swing or any of our country porch rockers, enjoy a pleasant conversation around one of our two stone fireplaces, or watch one of 6 LCD Flat Panel TV’s (catch a show or listen to XM radio on our satellite TVs or pop a movie into our DVD players).
If you're feeling a little more active – head to the game room for a round of pool on our new pool table, enjoy our air hockey or dart board, or maybe a card game in the living room. Jump on-line with our exclusive Wi-Fi. Or, if the season is right – take a Dip in the community swimming pool, or bring your tennis racquets and basketball for a game on the court.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” also features a fully equipped kitchen for the chef and entire family to enjoy! The roomy kitchen is perfect for family gatherings and features a gorgeous country-sized dining table, a coffee bar table, plus two picnic tables on the deck for extra outdoor seating!
After a long day, feel free to adjourn to the master loft suite where you will experience more wonderful views. The suite has a king-sized bed, 32? flat screen TV, DVD player and a private bathroom with a cozy bubbling bedside Jacuzzi and shower. Or if you prefer being closer to the kitchen – the main master has a king-sized bed, 32? flat screen TV, and it’s bathroom includes a large bubbling Jaccuzzi and shower. Kids and those more active may enjoy two bedrooms on the lower level sharing a fully appointed bathroom and game room.

My family and I went to Pigeon Forge again this year for the fall colors, but we decided to change it up and go to this cabin for the first time. Absolutely, top notch. Spectacular views!!! The place had everything we wanted. Everything from their website www.wonderfulcabin.com being helpful, to the the rental guy being very nice, to the heavenly views - it was great. The only thing I worried about at first was the drive up, but it turned out not to be a problem. We had a great vacation. We'll definitely be calling them back again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My entire family of five and I spent an extended weekend here and the cabin is absolutely gorgeous! We were all happy to find out that it looks exactly like the photos on the website, which was nice because sometimes websites show unrealistic images. This wasn't the case. This stay was definitely worth the money, I continue to recommend it to all of our family friends. Although I told my children not to bring their internet gadgets, it was nice to still have some access to wireless internet. Also, the tennis courts were great, and in a beautiful setting. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here! It's a vacation we'll never forget.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We loved every minute of it. I had my entire family there - including my wife and kids, my Mom, my Sister and her kids, my Brother and his kids. We had a great family reunion. I can't believe all the things we did there. It really was a treat of retreats. I felt refreshed and rested after my trip. This cabin is absolutely amazing! It is only like 5-10 minutes from the heart of pigeon forge, there is a small shopping center right around the corner to pick up whatever you may need, and it is still secluded enough to provide for a romantic getaway. I had been here before and loved it so much that I chose this cabin to propose to my wife. We will be return visitors guaranteed. Side note: It was really nice to have wireless internet, as I am a web designer and need to be able to access emails even when I'm on vacation.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Absolutely the most wonderful view of any cabin I've stayed in while in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Loved the hot tub and air hockey table. Internet was actually high-speed. :-) The beds were so comfortable. I felt quite safe drinking my morning coffee on the huge deck - overlooking the mountains and valleys below. (They've made road improvements on the way, and it's a fun drive up. Also it appears they've done some nice repairs - all the railings are beautiful and in great shape.) There are so many things to do in the area, I can never seem to get to them all. I'm going back again as soon as I can more time off work.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We rented this cabin for a week in July 2010, it is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The road up to the cabin isn't all paved some of the road is gravel and is a little difficult to drive up but nothing to serious to worry about. Our only concern was the rail on the second floor was a little loose, I don't think it was dangerous but just made us a little nervous. This cabin does have other cabins close to it, but this wasn't a problem for us. The owner's were very kind and answered any questions or concerns we had quickly. Overall we had a wonderful trip.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.
