Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA (Next to Natural History Museum and Central Park!)
Accommodations: Apartment, Studio + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)
Light streams onto the pale yellow walls through two huge windows in this beautiful, cozy studio. This studio was just renovated and is located within a lovely prewar elevator building next to the Natural History Museum on W 79th and Columbus. There is a full kitchen with cherry cabinets and wood floors all around.
The apartment has a top of the line solid cherry trundle that opens to a short king -- when put together -- or can be used as two separate singles. The mattresses are made of very high-end memory foam that will give you a wonderful sleep. There is also fold away beds (single or full) that can be used for two smaller children or one adult.
The apartment is on the top floor and has great tree top views! There is a large, flat-screen Samsung LCD television with cable service and wireless (and wired) broadband internet.
For a small fee -- we will provide you with a NYC cell phone with unlimited local and long distance calls within the U.S. and Canada.
We have installed a combination lock on your apartment door which we program to your own unique entry code number (so no key required for your apartment).
Numerous bus lines are located within one to three blocks as well as several subway lines (B, C and 1 trains). When you book with us, we will provide you with free orientation materials to help you plan your NYC trip, identifying fun things to see and do as well as help you navigate the City easily. This will include directions on getting to and from the local airports and instructions on how to drive in NYC without going insane or getting towed. We will also provide you complimentary copies of pertinent subway, bus and Central park maps. There are nearby public parking garages (average is $30 per day). For an additional charge, we can arrange for a driver to meet you and your luggage at the airport baggage claim area and bring you both in a Lincoln Town Car or stretch limousine to your front steps.
THE AREA IS FANTASTIC! One block to CENTRAL PARK, directly behind the NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM, tons of FABULOUS RESTAURANTS, BARS, CAFES, SHOPPING, ANTIQUES, MUSEUMS ETC. Walk from the tree lined street a few steps to the corner and NEW YORK CITY "LIFE" AWAITS YOU!
Recession special: those guests who (1) book at least four nights AND (2) reference this offer when booking, will receive two free tickets (i.e. for two people on one night) to attend a NYC Comedy Club (two drink minimum not included).

Hi Kent We had a great time in NYC, thanks in large part to the orientation materials you provided us. We enjoyed staying in the apartment, living with real New Yorkers and appreciated your prompt action to have the first day problems remedied. For us, the location was perfect. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The only times we used the subway were to go one way to the Staten Island ferry and Century 21. In both cases we walked all the way back. That trip was the highlight of our year. We also enjoyed our communications with you. Bob
