It is not to early to start planning Spring Break and summer vacation.
This 1100 ft. fully equipped 2-bedroom condo is waiting for you on Dauphin Island. Located on the first floor for easy access with private parking right in front, it is a short walk to the pool or the boardwalk to the beach.
Dauphin Island beaches are beautiful and clean. Bring your Beach towels, suntan lotion and sandals and leave the stress behind as you relax on beautiful Dauphin Island.
The beaches aren't crowded and it is almost like having your own private beach.
Our condo unit owns the property to the beach and you can enjoy the beautiful uncrowded creamy white sand beaches and warm gulf water. The gulf is assessable by a boardwalk with seating areas to enjoy beach sunrises and sunsets. The island is beautiful year round with sunny summer days and cool evening coastal breezes. Winter offers moderate temperatures and is usually warm enough to enjoy walks on the beach and other outdoor activities. When we visited in December we walked barefoot on the beach and waded in the Gulf water.
This is a non smoking unit with no pets allowed. The condo association does not allow renters to bring boats or trailers on the property. We rent by the week (Sat. - Sat.) or month only, see calendar for availability. The rental price covers all charges including clean-up fees. A $100.00 reservation/security deposit is added to the weekly rental rate. This security deposit will be returned after departure and inspection of the unit.
Dauphin Island is a very laid back and non-commercialized community but there is plenty to occupy your week. Play the eighteen-hole golf course, visit Fort Gaines (a real civil war fort), fish off the pier or charter a boat for sight seeing or deep sea fishing, take the ferry to Gulf Shores/ Fort Morgan, visit the Estuarium or the Audubon Bird Sanctuary. There is a newly constructed skate board park on the Island. Several restaurants and a bakery are located on the island and fresh seafood is available to prepare in your fully equipped kitchen. The local “Ship and Shore” provides all your shopping needs. It is only 30 miles to Mobile if you want to go off island and Bellingrath Gardens (20 miles) makes a great day trip.

My husband and I fell in love with Dauphin Island while visiting our daughter who owns a condo in the same complex. Dauphin Island provides a great vacation for families because it offers the safe and relaxing atmosphere that only a small town can provide.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our condo is well maintained and very comfortable. You can see the gulf from the condo's gulf room. It is an easy walk from the condo to a beautiful creamy white uncrowded beach. The property between the complex and the beach is owned by the complex so there is lots of privacy.
Our condo is located in the Dauphin Surf Club. Just a short walk over the boardwalk to the beach.
The boardwalk (about the length of a football) takes you to a beautiful creamy white uncrowded beach.
Approximately 30 miles to Mobile after crossing Dauphin Island Bridge.

My husband and I are retired and enjoy traveling. I am a retired teacher and my husband worked in information systems. Although we are retired we keep busy. I am membership chairman for the Missouri State Art Education Association and my husband has served as Mayor of our community for 24 years. He was just re-elected to his 7th four year term.

This trip was the best vacation we've ever been on! The Condo we stayed in was truly like home. All the necessities were included, washer/dryer, mixers, crock pots, you name it... it was there! Comfortable, relaxing, would highly recommend it and will be staying there again on the next trip to Dauphin Island!

We just got back from a week at this lovely condo. It was our first visit to Dauphin Island. Everything we needed was at our fingertips here. The property managers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We spent a lot of time at the pool. The beach behind the condo was nice, but we also went to the public beaches, which had more amenities my daughter's family enjoyed--parasailing, jet-skiing, etc. The property was exactly as described. We ate a lot of meals in, but also found The Common Loon to be a good place to eat. The guys in our party went deep-sea fishing with Captain Mike, and had a really good time. There was a sea turtle nest marked on the beach near the condo, and we heard that turtles had hatched in the next county, and were told these might hatch while we were there. That would have been exciting! We would recommend this location. The owner was great at communicating with us and answering any questions we had.
Owner response:Dauphin Island is the perfect place if you want a relaxing vacation. The beaches are not crowded but there are plenty of things to do on the island. Our condo is well equipped with everything you need for your getaway. One of the things we like best is the availability of fresh seafood. You can catch your own, but we love to buy fresh seafood on the island and bring it back to the condo to cook.

My family of six stayed at this condo for the 4th of July week and had a BLAST! The beach was never too crowded and the surf wasn't so rough that they couldn't play in the water without me being too worried about them. We took the ferry to Gulf Shores where they have an awesome water park that everyone enjoyed. We cooked all our own meals...even some white trout my husband caught at the beach...it was delicious. As far as the actual condo condition goes everything was awesome. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and we had ample space to do everything we wanted to do. My children enjoyed the collection of movies in the condo and my middle son liked that he could watch what he wanted on the second tv in the master bedroom. The management was very helpful whenever we had a question and we hope to be able to visit again next summer.

It is great for taking walks on the beach at sunrise and sunset and there is always an uncrowded spot for sunbathing. We are so pleased when our guest enjoy our condo. This place was perfect for our family of four. The condo treated us with all the comforts of home. We felt as though we were staying with a distant relative rather than a stranger's condo found on the internet. The entire Surf Club community was very kind and hospitable to our 3 & 5 year olds. We couldn't have had a better vacation.

We had a MARVELOUS time at Dauphin Island!!! The condo was perfect and so comfortable. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay there! We got a lot of time in on the beach. And all got a tan. Haha. We all loved the atmosphere of the island in that it was so quiet and peaceful and not overrun with the "touristy" thing. I highly recommend this island and more specifically this condo!!

Words cannot express the relaxed atmosphere at Dauphin Island and staying in your lovely condo. The layout of the condo was perfect for us for we had our son, his wife and two small children, parents stayed in the master with the door connecting to the sunroom where the kids stayed. Perfect arrangement! We stayed in the first bedroom near the kitchen, plenty of privacy. Kids loved the beach and the pool. Vickie and Mike are so friendly and helpful too. We all needed that vacation badly and all agree we do want to come back. Thanks again for a fun and relaxing vacation!
