Bob and Sheryl are your Hosts at Ginger's Cottage and Suite Marie's Lake Erie Retreat. Their love of people and willingness to make your stay a positive one are one of the many traits this couple has to offer. Their philosophy is that they want to offer accomodations that they themselves would enjoy at an affordable price.
Why the Owner Chose Port Clinton
The Northcoast of Ohio was unknown to Sheryl until 2000 when she came and fell in love with the sparkling waters of Lake Erie and all the water related activities and history this area has to offer. Sheryl then met Bob in 2006 and fell in love with him and married him in 2007 at Historic Lyme Village in an 1800's Log Chapel.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
Activities are so varied, from fishing,swimming and kayaking to horse back riding. Antiquing to bird watching, Cedar Point and all the water parks in the area to Camp Perry National Rifle Matches.Golfing and lighthouse tours and all the fun Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Islands offer. It is more fun than most people have time for and we get to live here and enjoy Vacationland all the time!

Just came home from this property.The place is excellent,clean and well-maintained..WE took our friends & family,we were so pleased,had all the conveniences of home.Great location and axcess to islands,cedar point,Kalahari,our kids loved it.The owners took the time to tell us of all the great dining in the area,helpful pointers too make the most of our stayhighly recommended.Thank you Cheryl for all your help.We will be returning,Donna & Neal & Family

First of all the cottage was wonderfully stocked with spices and condiments. Everything was so neat and clean. It was a very homey and relaxing atmosphere. Sheryl and Bob were very informative about the area which in turn helped us to make good decisions to what and where we wanted to go and see. They went above and beyond their responsibility to see that we had everything needed for a most relaxing vacation. Last but not least, their generostiy was overwhelming! I would definitely recommend this cottage for a great relaxing time. Thanks again Sheryl and Bob

What a nice place! It is much larger than it looks from the outside. We had plenty of room for all of us (10). The beds were very comfortable. We really appreciated the "homey" touches-nice towels, movies, games, books-so thoughtful. Aso since our kids have allergies we loved how clean the apartment was. Thank you so much-we'll come back again!

We rented the property for 2 nights in June for several family menbers and friends to attend my daughter's graduation from Nursing School. The hourse was spacious, clean, comfortable, well maintained and very charming. We had a wonderful time. I have already recomended the porperty to servral friends.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
