Very well located one bedroom apartment in Palermo Soho (Thames and Costa Rica). It is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the many restaurants, cafes, and shopping in the exciting neighborhood of Palermo Soho.

The apartment has been custom designed by well known Argentine architectural firm the Marianita. The apartment shows like a display with high end Italian lighting on dimmers, made to measure furniture, custom wall textures, rich wood floors and attention to every minute detail.
The kitchen features granite counters, high-end stainless steel appliances, wine storage, microwave, under counter lighting and an impressive mahogany bar for casual dining. The fully equipped kitchen includes high quality cookware, service for 6, and everything you might need from wine glasses to cutlery. The living room offers a Phillips 32” flat panel LCD TV, slim-line stereo CD player with MP3 input, Phillips DVD player, cordless phone with voicemail, Roman pleated shades, black out curtains, and a sofa that converts to a standard size bed. There is a small dining area as well with a bar style table and four Italian bar stools. In the spacious bedroom you will find a platform style queen size bed with side tables. The bedding includes a Simmons Beautyrest Spa pillow-top mattress, lots of pillows, and luxury 280 thread count linens. The bedroom opens up to a large 5th floor balcony overlooking the exciting shops and restaurants below. Modern bathroom with wooden deck style vanity, accent lighting, euro style sink, mirrored wall storage, and high-flow shower head. Also supplied are oversized Luxury bath towels by Arredo.

The apartment is located in a brand new building with well-lit contemporary entry, modern elevator, multiple use room, and an Argentine BBQ pit (parilla). On the 8th floor you will find a heated 6 person Jacuzzi with sweeping Panoramic views of Palermo Soho.

There is cable, high-speed WiFi internet, and weekly maid service included.

  • You will absolutely love this apartment. We stayed two weeks beginning in late October and our stay was absolutely perfect. Upon arrival we were met by the local manager Guillermina, who is an absolute gem. She provided recommendations and a full orientation to the apartment, and the city. The location is simply the best in BA and the quarters are beautiful. We used the balcony for afternoon drinks and truly enjoyed all of the beauty. Jeff, the owner was excellent to work with, answering many questions etc. I highly recommend this apartment (and this neighborhood) if you are considering a visit to BA. Thanks Jeff and Guille!

  • My 2 friends and I had a fantastic time in Buenos Aires! The apt was absolutely adorable, and in the best location in BA! We all wished we had this apt in SF and in NY, NY! The apt manager was readily available, and very helpful with local information. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to BA, it was overall PERFECT!

  • We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is the perfect location in Palermo ... close to restaurants and shops and easy access to cabs. There is a laundry nearby which has great service and a grocery store. We stayed 10 nights and it was a nice little home away from home, with WiFi, friendly maid service, and fantastic concierge service and advice from the property coordinator. It would be nice if there was an ATM closer than 8 blocks, but other than that, we don't any complaints, only positives. I recommend a taxi from the airport rather than one of the services -- its cheaper and all the drivers know how to find the area. We would happily stay here next time we come to BA.

  • This place is awesome. Great location, beautiful accommodations and great price. The apartment manager Guille is wonderful and very helpful and they even helped out with a great driver from the airport. Way better deal than the expensive tiny boutique hotels we stayed in nearby.

  • This apartment is ideal in the fact that it is located in a great area. There are at least ten superb restarants withing walking distance that are all different and very affordable. One of the best steak parrillas is within blocks of the apartment. The laundry mat, grocery store and a great book store are all very close by and a walk out the front door and you can hail a cab. You know what they say...Location, Location, Location! The apartment has a workable kitchen, a comfortable bed and a housekeeper once a week. Judith D. Denver, Colorado USA

  • I really was pleased with our week long stay at 1832 Thames. It was a wonderful price for a great location. The apartment had plenty of closet space and I really appreciated the WIFI. The area in Palermo could not have been better. Restaurants, bars and shopping, right outside the door, and within walking distance to the D line subte. Jeffrey, the owner and Giullermina, the local contact were very pleasant and helpful and it was very good to have an arranged car service, provided at an additional charge, waiting for us on arrival at the airport. Just remember to bring your own toiletries (shampoo and soap) as this is an apartment, not a hotel. A washing machine and dryer are free and right on the premesis. (maybe bring a small box of detergent with you too). Overall, a great experience and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

  • Great Place, Great Location!! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Buenos Aires!! The kitchen had all the necessities to make a gourmet meal and the living area offered all the modern electronic conveniences of CD and DVD players, cable, telephone and Internet. The only minor problem during our stay was being able to connect our own personal laptops to the apartment’s wireless router. However, the apartment still offered the convenience of the Apple Mini Mac, if you chose to use the existing computer for Internet connectivity. Nevertheless, the apartment did have wifi available – just at a slower Internet connection for personal laptop use. A noteworthy mention was that management was always available – very helpful and responsive. Management even offered suggestions for some of the local attractions. Overall, the apartment was quiet at night, but if you want to enjoy some of the locals’ favorite night time spots and restaurants, you only have to walk a few blocks. As for transportation, the bus line runs in front of the apartment (Number 55). Also, the apartment is about 7 blocks from the subway on Santa Fe (Plaza Italia), which was more convenient for getting around the city (only 90 centavos for a one way pass). Our stay was relatively short but I would recommend the place for long-term stay as well. Thanks Jeffrey and Guillermina for a wonderful Buenos Aires experience!

    Thanks for your kind comments and alerting us to the wifi. The wifi modem has been reconfigured. It is Broadband DSL system secured via password. It's blazing fast :)
