Nice House to Stay while Enjoying All that San Antonio has to Offer!

Our family stayed for a week in this house and we had a wonderful experience. The house has all of the basics covered and is quite comfortable. A large master bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs make for a perfect family arrangement. The living room as comforatble with ample sofa seating and big screen TV. The kitchen and dining areas are accomodating for meals and entertainment. The house was clean upon our arrival and appeared to be well maintained. The owner is local and responsive to anything that may need to be addressed during your stay. We had an issue with a door lock that the owner took care of within 24 hours. The neighborhood is gated and there are only a handful of houses that have been built so it sometimes feels as if you have the place to yourself. Also, there's a neighborhood shopping center within a minute of the house that has grocery store and several dining spots. Very convenient! I would highly recommend this house to any family planning a trip to San Antonio, although you need to be prepared to drive 15-30 minutes to most of the major attractions in the area. T

Average rental. Plenty of room. The place was not as clean as most VRBOs upon arrival. Some of the items previously mentioned were fixed (coffee pot and microwave). Lots of little things we noted. Many light bulbs out (at least 8-10), lack of washcloths, furniture not very high quality (or functional). Average rental.

My family was in town for a wedding, and there were a number of factors that led us to the Del Pilar house...convenient to airport, local groceries and restaurants, convenient to downtown, and flexibility to support additional family members if needed. The property itself was exactly as advertised...we were a little early in the season to check out the club house and pool, but everything else about the location was convenient, clean and well-appointed. We would definitely recommend this property for visitors to San Antonio looking for alternatives to downtown hotels for six or more people.

Thank you so much for the use of your property. It was perfect for our large group and allowed room for the kids to play as well as each family the privacy we needed. The girls did lots of shopping and we found several different shopping centers within close proximity to this property. Perfect for Black Friday shopping! ;-) I would definately stay at this property again.

This home was spacious and there was plenty of room for our family of 8. However, the house was not very clean, dirty socks under table in den, and I had to dust counters in the kitchen and wash some dishes and glasses that were put away dirty. There were several light bulbs throughout the house that were not working and a broken desk in the den. We were there in October and the pool in the development was a nice feature. The grocery store and other small stores.shops were within walking distance but we drove closer to downtown for a nice restaurant. We went to my son's gradauation at Lackland AFB and it took about 45 minutes to get there. Overall a nice place.

Great Place for Family

This was a great place to stay with our family. I traveled with my husband, daughters (both adults) my granddaughter and my mother. We all had our own space after a long day together. It was also great to be able to eat and cook at the house instead of eating out every meal, everything we needed was provided. The pool was a great place to go to cool off at the end of the day. The neighbors were friendly and we felt very comfortable. The house is also located close to the loop, making getting to area attractions easy. We will stay there again if we are in San Antonio.

I have stayed in a number of rental homes while on vacations. This is the best in San Antonio! The home was clean, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Fabulous Spring Break family getaway!!!

As Canadians seeking sunshine, warmer weather and refuge from icy, slushy, puddled roads, our family of 5 found the perfect solution in this home in San Antonio. Each of 3 teens had their own bedroom. The adults came, in part, to be able to train for marathon races (not easy to run 20 miles with icy puddles in Canada). Our host was quickly available to resolve all of our questions. The house was great, the location perfect and the gated property afforded a half mile "track" to get through shorter runs and do speed work. The kids had an amazing time, with The Alamo and Riverwalk, Six Flags, shopping, and just hanging around the house and pool. Highly recommended!!!

This property was comfortable and in a great location in San Antonio, Tx. We stayed there with our 5 adult children and had a wonderful time! The house was clean and well-maintained. The owner provided quick responses to our questions both prior to the vacation and while we were there. We would highly recommend this place to others for a great vacation home. We enjoyed San Antonio, especially the River walk and the guys loved going to the Pro Bass Shop! We would stay there again if the opportunity arises.

We stayed at this comfortable home in San Antonio for two weeks... The accomodations were perfect for us (myself, two small children and my mom). This felt like I was staying in my own very comfortable home. The owners were very responsive with all my questions and the cleaning service was very nice and professional. Mr. Del Rio Your home was more than welcoming during our recent stay in San Antonio! Everything we needed was there. It was just like the comfort of my own home. The house was clean from top to bottom and that put me at ease. It made the stay very comfortable for my entire family. I was excited about having internet access, a DVD player and direct TV. We all have our picks of TV shows and we didn’t have to compromise on anything because we had more than enough access to do our own thing. The location was great! We were very close to North Star Mall, grocery stores, and restaurants. Lackland AFB, The Alamo and the Riverwalk weren’t too far away either. It was a prime spot for our visit. We had a comfortable and wonderful stay! Small suggestions: washcloths, an extra iron and ironing board for the upstairs area, extra maps of the area.

We rented the property Sept. 18-25, 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was spacious, clean, and easy to find. When I arrived, I had a little trouble opening the access code to the property, however Mr. Del Rio was very helpful in getting me into the property. He was quick to respond, and very accomodating. The master bedroom is very comfortable, and spacious. It is also on the main floor which was extremely helpful for me, as I have very bad arthritis in both knees. The house was roomy, and open, and we had no trouble finding the various sights in San Antonio and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to call "Home." We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and had a great time. The location made it easy for us to visit family and also see some of the local attractions. The house was very clean and everything was in order. My niece and her friend really enjoyed having their own space in the family room. We'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed at the Del Pilar home at the end of June, 2010. My daughters and their families came with me and there. was plenty of room for all. The children loved having a room for their movies and the swimming pool. The adults enjoyed having a living area for conversation, reading, or watching their television shows. The patio was great for sitting in the evenings and talking. It was convenient to all attractions, including Sea World, Six Flags, and the Riverwalk. I would definitely stay there again!

We just stayed in this wonderful home 2 weeks ago! It was perfect! It was so roomy and we each had our own space. The house was clean and just as it looks in the pictures. It was a quiet neighborhood (gated!) and we could not have been more pleased! What a joy to be able to stay in a place as a family and not to have to stay in hotel rooms! We ate together, played games and watched TV! A completely excellent experience. The owner was so helpful and answered all my questions....he was always available when I called! Highly recommended!

Great Spring Break Vacation

The house has a beautiful layout. My husband and I with our 3 daughters stayed during our spring break. The location of the house was a short drive to every thing. The pool was great after a day of walking downtown in the Sun. The only bad thing I can say was our stay was short but look forward to visiting again in the near future. My family stayed at the Del Pilar home for my daughter's graduation and it was a perfect stay. The house is in a secure quiet neighborhood, close to all of the attractions and the airport. We enjoyed having the space to spread out and relax, as well as having the full kitchen and lovely outdoor patio. Mr. Del Rio was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to our needs. We had a minor plumbing problem the first night of our stay and Mr. Del Rio promptly came out to the house and took care of the situation. I would definitely stay at this location again and wholeheartedly recommend it to other families.

We stayed in the Del Pilar house for spring break. This house accomodated 4 adults and 7 children with ease. We never felt crowded and had a wonderful stay. The owner was very friendly and accomodating. I would definately stay here again and recommend it as a great rental house. It is very close to all the San Antonio attractions.

We stayed at Ricardo's vacation rental for 55 nights in Oct-Nov 2009 while we were relocating from Germany back to San Antonio. My week here was excellent. The house is grand in style. Everything that I needed was in the house and I slept very well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and all of the applicances were fabulous. The house is in a gated community and it was very serene and quiet. We were right off of Rt. 281 which lead us directly to the heart of San Antonio in 10-12 minutes. Approximately, two minutes away (by car)was a hugh supermarket, a great dollar store, gas stations, Bank of America, and lots of fast food places. The energy of the property was great. It also has a charming back patio in which I had my daily morning cup of coffee. It is a great place and if I'm ever in the area again, I would rent it!!!! I'm glad that I had the opportunity to stay there for a week.

My family stayed at the Del Pilar property during Spring Break 2009. The house is large, clean, and magnificent. It has many separate rooms to hang out in and was ideal for the different age groups in my family (adult, teens, children). There is a very attractive patio area for a barbecue or just too relax. The pool house and pool area was nice and inviting as well. I would definitely stay here again!
