Rustic Elegance is an awesome cabin nestled away atop the mountain with all the necessities for a romantic retreat or just the right size for a small family. We are far enough from town to enjoy peace and quiet yet close enough for restaurants and entertainment. Cabin located 6 miles from heart of Pigeon Forge, 9 miles from the Wilderness Water Park and 10 miles from the heart of Gatlinburg - the Smokies are your playground!
Cabin sleeps from one to four persons. Slide into the indoor jacuzzi tub for relaxing while watching the big screen TV or step out onto the very private and secluded deck for a dip in the hotub before retiring for the evening to the King Size Bed in the Master Suite.

We love the location of our cabin in that it is sooooooo convenient to both Pigeon Forge (just 6 miles straight down Dollywood Lane) and Gatlinburg (10 miles) - you can use the back roads of Teaster and Veterans Blvd to beat all the traffic to get back to the tranquility of the cabin yet be right in the mix within minutes!

We love the woods surrounding cabin - the seclusion away from everybody and everything - it always feels like a special getaway just the two of us! The cabin is great for a couple or a small family - the hottub on the back porch is great to relax in while enjoying nature around you everywhere!

We came up to TN from South Mississippi hearing that it was going to snow, but not thinking it would. We woke up Christmas morning with a few inches. Snowed all day into Sunday and Monday. Unfortunatly the roads were not plowed until Monday, so if you go, make sure you have 4 wheel drive so you can get up and down the mountain. The cabin was so cute and cozy, the hot tub was EXCELLENT! Enjoyed every part of the cabin. Hot water NEVER ENDED! The heater works VERY WELL, and the gas fireplace was so nice. It was nice to bring our two Golden Retrievers. They enjoyed it as much as we did!! It's about 10 miles or so from Gatlinburg, but if you want to get away from all the touristy areas, this is the place to go!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners.

I JUST RETURNED FROM OUR TRIP TO DOLLYWOOD. WE STAYED AT THE RUSTIC ELEGANCE CABIN AND ENJOYED OUR TRIP TO THE TREES. MY CONCERN IS THE LACK OF PROMISED LOCAL TELEPHONE SERVICE. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY MY FAMILY AT HOME WAS UNABLE TO REACH US. ALSO THE ROAD UP TO THE CABIN WAS NARROW WITH DROP OFFS WHICH MADE GOING OUT AFTER DARK UNADVISABLE. THE CABIN WAS CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPPED.
Owner response:Hi Folks - just to put everybody's mind at ease - the phone in the cabin works for 911 calls out in case you have an emergency - I personally have Verizon Cell - my husband has Nextel, my son-in-law has TMobile, my parents have AT&T Cell and we have never had problems getting a signal to make a phone call - the driveway to Rustic Elegance is asphalted all the way from the bottom of the mountain to the frontdoor - we drive a Chevrolet 2500 HD - huge truck - have no problem manuevering the driveway during the daylight or after dark - thanks again and hope to see you all soon at Rustic Elegance At the Top of the Mountain

I JUST RETURNED FROM OUR WEEK LONG TRIP TO RUSTIC ELEGANCE. THIS WAS A LOVELY CABIN IN THE WOODS AND WE ENJOYED OUR WEEK. I WOULD LIKE TO NOTE THAT THERE WAS NO LOCAL PHONE SERVICE AS PROMISED AND CELL PHONE RECEPTION IS LIMITED. THIS WAS A CONCERN SINCE MY FAMILY AT HOME WAS UNABLE TO CONTACT US IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. ONLY 911 SERVICE WAS AVAILABLE. ALSO THE ROAD TO THE CABIN WAS TRICKY. IT WAS EXTREMELY NARROW WITH SHEER DROPS LEAVING NO ROOM FOR ERROR. WE DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE GOING OUT AFTER DARK. THE CABIN WAS CLEAN AND ALL AMENITIES WERE GOOD. THE PROPERTY WAS LOCATED ABOUT 10 MILES FROM THE MAIN STRIP. IT WAS QUIET. OTHER THAN THAT WE HAD A LOVELY TIME

The mountain were calling and we answered. This was our first cabin to rent, and we enjoyed it so much - we feel it's the best way to experience the mountains. We look forward to doing it again. This cabin was way better than we expected. No more hotels for us. We will try Stonehouse Pizza on our next visit.

Had a wonderful time. The "hottub" has inspired us to purchase one! Everything was fine just the water pressure was low but the maintenance man got on it very quickly. Thanks for the stay.

My Aunt and I had a great stay here. The cabin was a great place to spend the holiday season. Dixie Stampede had a great Christmas show and the lights at Dollywood were spectacular. The weather was terrific, mid 50's and sunny every day! At the same time there was snow in the Smokies!

This was our third winter vacation to the area but our first staying here - this is our new favorite location! It is remote enough to relax without the hustle & bustle of the touristy stuff but if you want to do something you can get to town in a short amount of time. "Rustic Elegance" is exactly what we were looking for and I would highly & gladly refer others that are wanting a quiet location to stay here. Thanks for the opportunity to experience Rustic Elegance at The Top Of the Mountain!
