"Bear's Cabin" is a beautiful two-story cabin situated on a wooded one-acre lot in scenic Greer, Arizona, close to Sunrise Ski Park. We are pleased to report that the June 2011 "Wallow Wildfire" had no affect on Bear's Cabin or on the vast majority of the village of Greer. From the beautiful deck of Bear's Cabin, you will not see any impact from the Wallow fire in any direction, and all of your favorite Greer restaurants and businesses are open and looking forward to your visit.
Winter time brings gorgeous scenery, crisp cold days, and lots of great activities. Arizona's best skiing and snowboarding is just minutes away at Sunrise Ski Park! Get away from the city and cuddle up to a spectacular winter vacation in this picture-perfect setting. The skiing and snowboarding are great at Sunrise!

This five-year old property has all the furnishings and touches that you desire, and is beautifully decorated to truly feel like your mountain home. As you enter, the great room has soaring floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the pine and aspen trees and a large open meadow. The gas fireplace will keep you warm and comfy, and adds a great touch while you relax on the soft sofa and love seat, with the large flat-screen HDTV for entertainment - with satellite service. The large master bedroom has a queen bed, an attached bathroom, high quality furniture, TV set, and its own entry out onto the large deck. The other downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and an adjacent bathroom. One of the cabin's highlights is the fabulous upstairs loft with a queen bed, the third bath, and its own TV. This is a very spacious loft with gorgeous windows and lots of privacy. Your view of the surrounding forest from the loft is unsurpassed.
The kitchen is totally modern with all appliances and a center cooking island for convenience. It comes fully stocked with quality dishes, cookware, and everything you could need. The adjacent dining area is a great place for gathering and sharing stories of the day.
Outside, the large wrap-around deck is perfect for relaxing in the cool mountain weather. Beautiful views exist in all directions for enjoying your early morning coffee or relaxing at sunset before dinner. The outdoor gas BBQ grill allows you to show off your own cooking skills as well.
Greer, Arizona lies at an elevation of 8500 feet, and is a short drive away from the Sunrise Ski Resort - offering Arizona's best downhill skiing and snowboarding. Greer is also the location for great family Holiday-themed special events, which are becoming more and more popular every year!

We are life-long residents of southern Arizona, and have enjoyed traveling to Greer for a long time. What a beautiful spot! Buying this special home in Greer has been a dream of ours, and we really look forward to our visits. We hope you enjoy it too!
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
It is a special treat to see the seasons change in Greer. We love it all. You can walk from Bear's Cabin to trout fishing in the Little Colorado, visit other nearby hidden spots, do some lake fishing, go on really neat hikes, or just relax on the front porch. Fall brings gorgeous color, and we always look forward to our winter trips to ski at Sunrise. It's so much closer than being in Pinetop, and so much nicer than being in a motel. The fireplace on a cold winter night is just the best. The wildflowers and crisp mornings of springtime are a great time to visit too.

We had a great weekend of playing in the snow, skiing, playing games, and spending a long weekend together. We really enjoyed the cabin! We loved all the big windows and the fireplace. Thank you for sharing it with us!

We traveled to Bear's Cabin from Tucson to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and to enjoy time together as a family. We loved the cabin and truly felt at home here. The kitchen was so well equipped - we found everything we needed. This is a beautiful cabin - thank you for sharing it. We had a wonderful 4-day stay. Horseback riding, fishing, the nature trail - all were enjoyed. We look forward to coming back.

Hi Everyone - we are from Vermont, and are Greer "first timers". How beautiful is it here? Wow, truly stunning. We have dined on colorful rainbow trout that we caught less than one half mile away, and hiked along little babbling brooks. The cabin was a true haven. So nice to come "home" to after a full day outdoors. Thank you so much for providing your home to us. It was just perfect.
