By far the best location, Molino de Agua is the nicest condo building in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, overlooking the famous El Malecon and the beach. We have returned for three consecutive years. We no sooner arrive than we start planning our return for the following year. The unit is exactly as described by the owners. We have had the opportunity to visit friends in several other units and I feel that ours has the best equipped kitchen. Among its many small appliances, it has a Kitchen Aid mixer and Cuisinart Food Processor, both items rarely found in rental units. We prefer higher floors to the lower floors. Our balconies offer stunning views of the ocean and the old Town. The grounds of Molino de Agua are exceptionally well kept. We have become acquainted with quite a few condo owners who live here year round. Molino is not just a condo building of rentals. Each year, we create new friendships and renew previous ones. For example, ten of us are meeting at the back gate this evening and going to dinner. That is a typical evening and part of the charm of PV. There are many fabulous restaurants, enough to satisfy all tastes and budgets. A late-afternoon daiquiri at Daiquiri Dick's, with our toes in the sand, serenaded by the mariachis, is something we particularly enjoy and it is less than five minutes away. Although the restaurants are great, our balconies with such exceptional views, beckon to us in the evening, and we often will opt to grill some fresh fish or seafood and watch the sunset. The fresh fish available in the Old Town ( a 3 minute walk) is of exceptional quality, as well as the fresh oysters shucked on the beach directly in front of Molino de Agua. We were reluctant to sample the oysters on our first visit, but we can now say they are delicious and cause no problems. We have had the opportunity to meet the owners, and they are delightful. They have a good property manager, with an eye to detail. He organizes the maid service exceptionally well and is a great source of information. Another asset of Molino de Agua and its location, is that we do not need a rental car. We go everywhere on foot or by taxi (very cheap). If I tried really hard to think of anything negative, it would be the lack of poolside chairs in the late afternoon. There simply are not enough and I hope the Condo Association will remedy this.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

Summer, low season and long term rentals Electricity is charged extra due to our low rates. The cost per day runs approximately $10 - $20 a day depending how you use the central air conditioning system.
50% deposit due upon reservations and balance is due 45 days prior to arrival. Cancellation prior to 60 days of arrival - 100% refunded less $100 administration fee. Cancellation of reservation under 60 days of arrival is only refunded if we are able to re-rent the same time period and rate.

About the owner: We live in Vancouver Canada, and my wife and I selected Puerto Vallarta to have our vacation home. Vallarta is a great place, the local people are extremely friendly, the weather is incredible and restaurants are superb. It's a little taste of Europe right in your own backyard. The dollar goes a long way and it's tough to beat a better place in the sun
