We stayed at Tonyhai vacation home the weeks of Mar 23-April 5 . It was our first experience renting a vacation home and we are especially happy with how well it all turned out. We are a family of 10 and the house fit us just right. The location was perfect with plenty of space in the house and outside for kids to play, located off the road so no worries about traffic. The games and basement space for play were a big hit. The outside grill was nice for cooking hamburgers and hot dogs after a long day of sightseeing. It enabled us to eat together as a family and pack picnics for our sightseeing adventures which were all nice. I especially enjoyed being able to unpack our suitcases right into our dressers when we returned home as I was able to keep up with the laundry all week! The house was very comfortable and clean, was not lacking anything that we needed and actually provided a lot more than we expected. It was very open and had an easy access shower in the master bedroom. We enjoyed coffee on the open big kitchen in the morning. When we had questions before arrival they were always answered promptly and very well. Tonyhai provided exceptional service on our arrival. Everything was clean and orderly, well maintained. We had plenty of towels and bed linens. The kitchen was well stocked with very nice utensils, dishes, cookware. We would recommend Tonyhai vacation home and if we have opportunity to come back to Seattle we would definitely inquire about staying there again. Thank you for such a nice house for our wonderful weeks in South Seattle. We enjoyed our trip very much!

Not sure about some of the last reviews but prior to moving to Seattle I used Tony Vacation home for a short term rental in Seattle. The House was very nice and big. It had everything that you need, bed are comfortable, easy in & out freeway, very quiet at night. My wife love the kitchen and everything about The place! house had Satellite TV and free wifi which was excellent! I recommend using these guys if you are in town for a short rental or for an extended period of time. Thanks again Tony You've really gone above and beyond in providing everything possible for comfort and relaxation.

Tony was great about everything. We had friends come from three different cities and the house is great to accomodate different sleeping times. The furniture needs some updating but for the price we paid I would do it all over again.

No description not accurate regarding location said Columbia City and it was the horrible South Park area. We looked infront onto a factory right across the street, the neighborhood was not average - very low income. We didn't feel safe walking in neighborhood. Photos did not. All the furniture was old and minimum. Beds were extremely old. Master bed had hole in mattress. Sheets old, towels old, dishes and pots and pans were really old. Dishwasher kept coming out of the wall not fastened in, two front stove burners kept going out, lights out in refrigerator, the fireplace no gas, the hot water heater had no hot water on Christmas eve. When owner finally called back we had to self start pilot light. The downstairs was very cold. We had to jack up heat upstairs to make it room temperature but not warm downstairs. When we came - load was in washing machine and smelled mildew and clothes in dryer to fold! Property NOT clean and well maintained. Back yard was overgrown and front and chairs thrown around in the back. Owner was not helpful. We had to figure it out ourselves. I would NOT recommend this property. Very misleading!!!!!!! It was big enough for all but totally below substandards in our living conditions. I felt very deceived and paid way tooooo much. Asked if house would have Christmas tree but no. Front porch no light and front railing coming off of porch! Not good. One bathroom had a hole in the door. One bathroom fan not working and mildew on wall by mirror. The window treatments were broken. The carpet was filthy.

We had six adults staying in this house for nine days while we attended a bridge tournament in Seattle. Although I wasn't expecting much as the price was sooo reasonable, I can happily say the place exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood is a mixed light industrial residential, so nothing great there, but for us, looking for an easy commute and a comfortable place to stay, it was ideal. Getting on and off the freeway was very simple, which we appreciated. It took us 15 minutes from leaving to be parked in downtown Seattle, so that made the commuting very easy. The house is only about 15 years old, and has been well maintained. Free cable and internet were also a very nice plus. Additionally, Tony was very accomodating, both in letting us drop off our luggage early so it wasn't at risk in our car in a downtown parking lot, and in letting us leave our luggage until late on our checkout day. We would be happy to rent from Tony any time in the future.

The location is NOT in Columbia City but actually South Park., very different neighborhoods. The great little Columbia City neigborhood was quite a distance away. South Park does not have a great restaurant/shopping neighborhood. I had done my research on Columbia City, per the listing, so was disappointed and upset about the location. The neighborhood was quiet, bathrooms were clean and the floors had been cleaned/vacuumed. Unfortunately, there were a few more glaring issues besides the neighborhood. If you rent in the winter, the heat is off and will take 10 - 12 hours to be warm enough to be comfortable. We spent all evening in coats, hats, and gloves and finally gave up and went to bed. I was glad that the rest of the family and little granddaughter would not be arriving until the next day. The gas fireplace didn't work. As with most VRBO rentals, there is a cleaning fee and that means to me that the place SHOULD be spotless. Cupboards had crumbs and debris and the silverware drawer had dead bug carcasses as well as a live larve of some sort...kitchen beetle or weevil. Cleaned out that drawer and then gave up because I didn't want to spend my vacation cleaning. For a no smoking policy rental, there should not be cigarette butts on the garage floor either. Talked to the landlord after many messages and emails and requested a return of the cleaning fee for the above reasons. Got nowhere. It took 22 days and email reminders to have our deposit returned. I had read the reviews before renting and took some of the negatives with a grain of salt...but those turned out to be accurate. I would not recommend this listing friends or relatives!

This was a family vacation and Tony was sooooo accommodating. I appreciated that. He allowed me to make a change to the length of my stay without any hassles. I have dealt with other owners that aren't so flexible. Thank you for opening your home to my family.

This house was frickin awesome! Our reason for coming to Seattle was Bumbershoot & PAX (the gaming convention). My family was so comfortable here. It was like being at our own home. As advertised this really is an excellent bargain. You honestly can’t find accommodations this reasonable anywhere. The washer & dryer were great. The kitchen was so well stocked. There was even a rice cooker. Having a garage was so nice. The house is so conveniently located to stores, the freeways, and those epic neighborhood parties. I feel obligated to address the previous reviews. First of all, this neighborhood is wonderful. One day, I accidentally forgot to close the garage door (didn’t know that until we returned for the day) everything was fine. As far as the burned house (2 doors down) the only time you see it is when you drive to (or from) the house. I really don’t understand why someone would even mention it, but some people trip out on stupid stuff. The house is hella comfortable, you don’t hear outside noises unless the windows are open. If you’re lucky enough to be there when the neighbors are having loud parties, go over & introduce yourself…maybe they will ask you to join them. That’s what happened with us. No one has mentioned the size of the back yard…it’s HUGE! There is a nice apple tree in the yard. There was plenty of toilet paper. The TVs were great, however, you need to let them “warm-up” before they start working properly. Secondly, Tony is way kewl. He was always available. He is a very caring person. He will do anything to make your stay pleasant. My family will be returning here.

Pros: We had 7 people in our group and one baby. The house accommodated all of us very comfortably and it's clean. The free internet was awesome. It's also close to the freeway and not too far from downtown and the airport. Cons: It's not in the nicest neighborhood and there were loud parties nearby that went well into the early hours of the morning the weekend we stayed. There was a burned down house 2 doors down which was a bit disturbing to look at. It would have been nice if more toilet paper and a hair dryer had been provided. The giant TV looked promising, but unfortunately, it was broken. The owner is also not very responsive to emails and phone calls once the contract is signed. Overall, it's a decent place to house a large party.

Visited in Feb10 by four finnish adults and all went great with our trip to Seattle and Vancouver olympics. House was well-maintained, clean and it's big enough. We preferred location near highways, because we were motion all the time and we only sleep in here. The neighbourhood area isn't nicest, but either not so bad. Car is absolutely needed, there are nothing interesting nearby. Free internet was awesome. I would recommend this property, it was good quality/price already four people (at least european view).

Fine house in an area that is close to the airport and downtown. Very quiet at night. All beds and baths were comfortable and clean. Big screen TV's were a hit. We would return and recommend to any large group.

What a great house! If you travel with your big family (there are 10 of us), this is where you want to stay. 6 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, great facilities too (wi-fi and TV cable, washer-dryer, parking garage, even rice cooker!), what more can you ask. It's located in South Seattle in the industrial part of the city. It's a bit far from the main attraction, but it really close from the freeways, and that really helps. We rented a car, so we have no problem getting to Seattle's main attraction and the airport. Tony, the owner, is also very nice and helpful. He came all the way down to the house to help us with the internet problem. It feels like your home away in Seattle. My family and I are really happy :))
