Located just a few minutes walking time to Carmel's best shops, restaurants, and galleries, Snow White Cottage is a special place.
The 835 sq. ft. cottage sits back, and high above the street on a large oak enchanted corner lot offering privacy. It is a historical Comstock, which has been completely restored and updated. There are walnut wood floors, Venetian light fixtures, plaster walls, and comfortable sitting areas, everything you would expect in a fine, luxury rental. The kitchen has all the finest in appliances, and a dutch door leading out to the rear patio where a gas BBQ is ready for use on those warm summer evenings. The front bedroom has a beautiful view of the oaks and gardens, which makes you feel like you're sleeping in a tree house. The bathroom has a jet tub, shower, and two copper bowl sinks. The rear bedroom has a wonderful original door which opens to a serene patio, while on the other side has a dutch door which opens to the rear patio. The bathroom has a steam shower, with one copper bowl sink. The living area is wonderful with the large floor to ceiling original iron window overlooking the trees. There is a very real looking remote controlled gas fireplace, and a dutch door opening out to the front patio and gardens.
With the sounds of the ocean at night, and the privacy and serenity, Snow White Cottage is truly a magical place.

My wife and I spent an enchanted week at Snow White and would highly recommend to Carmel-by-the-Sea visitors who are looking for maximum charm, comfort and luxurious accommodations within a short walk to the village. As frequent visitors to the area, we knew we had made the right choice when we pulled into the stone driveway surrounded by lovely flowers and shady trees. The pictures do not do justice to the real beauty of the cottage and the interior spaces are warm and inviting. We were very appreciative of the impeccably clean and well-maintained cottage. It has the perfect combination of historic charm and modern baths and kitchen. Mary, the owner, was a delight to work with from start to finish, and we are grateful to her for her helping make our vacation a worry-free escape. Snow White Cottage immediately felt like home and following our daily walks to the beach and village, we looked forward to returning to the cottage, reading in the garden in the afternoons, and warming by the fireplace in the evenings with a great bottle of wine. We look forward to many future visits.
