This cottage has been completely remodeled and is thoroughly modernized. Beautiful granite countertops and tile, hickory cabinets and oak floors accentuate a cozy, warm and exquisite environ for your comfort and convenience. The town of Breckenridge is only 4 miles from your drive way and the property is on a year-around continuously accessible road. The heavily treed lot offers abundant privacy, beauty and serenity.
We provide a "courtesy" free parking pass to the Gondola Lots at the Breckenridge Ski Resort for your use when you are our guest.
The cottage has a 0.8 acre lot with a 230' private drive way that provides a nice place to walk your pet even during the heavy snow season.
Breckenridge Ski Resort opened Peak 8 on November 12, 2009.
Fish at a private picturesque lake called Goose Pasture Tarn, ski at Breckenridge Ski Resort or any of 3 other world class resorts in Summit County or venture to Vail or Beaver Creek only about an hour west on I-70. For the more adventurous hike up to the Mohawk Lakes, Quandry Peak, or fish the "Gold Waters" of the Blue or South Platte Rivers.
Five mountains of over 14,000 ft elevation are within a 20 minute drive and only hiking skills and stamina are required to summit any of these and return on a day hike. Hundreds of miles of mountain biking, ATV, 4-wheel and hiking trails are at your beaconing. This property is adjacent to the Arapaho National Forest and offers private access via foot trail from the rear of the lot.
The cottage kitchen is thoroughly equipped with all the necessities for your convenience. The adjoing dining area has a table that seats six and the island-counter can also seat 3 or 4 comfortably. Seven chairs are provided.
The two bedrooms are located on the 2nd level. One has a queen size bed. The other has a bunk bed with a lower level double and an upper level twin. A sleeper sofa is located in the lower level living room and there is also a love seat that can sleep a child.
