Ahhh, La Mariposa (the butterfly) at the Inn at Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, just a few miles from the precious beach communities of Seaside, Seagrove Beach, Grayton Beach, Rosemary Beach, Watercolor and more.
It's all about soothing your spirit. You've been dreaming... longing to smell the salt air, feel the white powdery sand between your toes, gaze into the most incredible color of turquoise gulf water ever, as you let it pool around your aching feet... Oh, a week would calm that soul that desperately needs a respite, but... even a weekend escape might be all that's needed...
Want some beach time? Just head down the path to the sugar white beach through one of three deeded beach accesses just 100 flip flops steps and you’re there. We provide you with two very cool Tommy Bahama Beach chairs or you can choose a Cabana rental. Don't forget your sunscreen!!!
When you're ready to get your toes off the beach, head over to Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor for coffee and a dessert (something chocolate, of course). Or meander through all of the charming shops at the Town Center. Check out local artists' wares at the outdoor kiosks full of fun local art. If cooking is your thing there are several groceries and fresh seafood markets nearby. Goatfeathers Seafood Market is just down the street....and there are lots of othe activities on the property as well. Bike, kayak Stand-up boards (SUP's) rentals just steps outside the entrance to our elevator.
In the middle of the town center is an outdoor amphitheater. The kids can play Frisbee or ball in the grass. In the summer the amphitheater is host to several concerts. And you can even go to church on the beach on Sunday at Ed Walline public beach complete with guitar music. If you’re feelin’ a little athletic, there’s shuffleboard, croquet, two tennis courts, walking trails, and biking. In fact there’s a walking/biking trail that parallels the entire 17 miles of Scenic 30A, and it is just outside our door! If Golf is your thing, Gulf place is located adjacent to The Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club, with its newly renovated Tif Eagle greens. Golf Magazine called it 'The Purest Golf in the Panhandle'. The course winds its way down very close the the Gulf and Scenic 30A. It is also home to one of the few Gulf front dining restaurants, 'Vue'. It is all just a very short walk from our property.
There are also some great eatery's right on the property, including Fire, The Naked Grape (Wine Bar), Smiling Fish Bistro with Gulf View dining and Amore Pizza. There is even a locally owned 'Mom and Pop' Pharmacy.
If you are looking for the ideal vacation spot where you can have the best of all worlds, activity and the hustle/bustle when you want them, but privacy, space and relaxation when you desire, then La Mariposa at Gulf Place is your dream vacation destination.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Security Deposit is due within 3- 5 days of making reservation. Full rental amount taxes is due 30 days prior to occupancy.
Cancellations must be made 90 days prior to arrival for refund of deposit less the administration fee. If you book within 90 days of your arrival date, you will have two weeks from the time you make the reservation to cancel with a full refund of your deposit less the administration fee. If you cancel after final payment has been made and if we are able to re-rent the property, your rental fees and deposit will be refunded less the administration fee of $25.
REFUND/SEVERE WEATHER POLICY
Refunds will not be given for late arrivals or early departures. If hurricanes or other extreme weather conditions occur the County Emergency Management Offices of North West Florida in conjunction with the National Weather Service may issue a mandatory evacuation notice. Only at that time, will refunds be pro-rated from the time of your departure. If no evacuation notice is issued by either of these government agencies and you choose to leave before the end of your reservation or to cancel because of the potential threatening weather, neither refund nor compensation will be made.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Gulf Place for a week. We had a fabulous time. The condo was perfect for us. It was just steps from the beach. The kitchen was just big enough for us to have breakfast and lunch. It was fully stocked. The condo has beautiful views of the coast. There are wonderful restaurants just steps or a short drive away. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This 1BR condo was the perfect place to stay for 4 nights. I loved the location. The first night we arrived there was a wine tasting with live music at the local shops downstairs. The place was close enough to Seaside that we spent a day riding our bikes down 30-A to the surrounding shops, restaurants and wine bar. The rest of our time we relaxed at the beach in the sun (and played some tennis)! The place is well maintained and EXCELLENTLY decorated with Pottery Barn! I would recommend this place to anyone and I would love to go back. My advice is skip Amore pizza. Just wonderful! All the decor and furnishings made us feel so relaxed! Thank You for providing such a lovely retreat for guests~and we never got tired of that "Amazing View" out all the windows and doors! My husband and I were in town for a wedding and stayed at the condo for a long weekend. We had a GREAT time! You can't beat the location; there are little shops, a coffee parlor and great restaurants - all in the same area as the condo. Plus, the views from the condo are wonderful (the beach is across the street) and the place is beautifully decorated! We definitely hope to return and stay even longer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We stayed in this one bedroom flat for a weekend late February. It rained the entire time, but the ocean view from this condo was just as beautiful in the rain as I'm sure it is in the sunshine. The contact (Brooks) was very receptive to our needs and always returned our calls or texts in a prompt manner. This is the perfect condo for a romantic getaway!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

I just returned from my stay at La Mariposa. The views from the condo were fabulous! The condo location is great, centrally located between the beach and a wide selection of restaurants. Brooks, the property owner, was wonderful to work with and even offered us an early check-in and late check-out. The condo was exactly as described and it appears the linens have even recently been updated with all new Pottery Barn linens. You will not regret your stay at La Mariposa!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We enjoyed out stay here over the holidays. This property has the corner views (down the road and toward the beach) and is well decorated/comfortable. If you are comparing to like properties in this same area, I have to assume this one has an edge on them. I try to balance any review with valid complaints, but I don't have much here - one may be to include a list of all the TV channels in the den because there are plenty of channels, but the order and lineup would make it easy. I like being right near everything, in front of a beach entrance and also above a coffee bar - it was all very convenient. We come down to this area about twice a year and this property will make the list for a return stay. Thanks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We had the best time!! The room was so nice and cozy. And it was a pleasure to be mere steps away from the beach! The shops below were a nice bonus. Highly recommended. We spent our honeymoon here and it was just what we needed.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This cute, cozy corner apartment has lovely Gulf views, easy access to the beach, pleasing blue and white decor with everything you need for a great stay at Santa Rosa Beach. Restaurants nearby are tops and there is access to a hot tub and heated pool. We loved it.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
