Just completed in July 08. Two bedroom apartment 30 seconds from great beach. Swimming, surfing, boogie boarding at end of street. Rentals for surfing and kayaking are available in the village. A few minutes' drive from lagoon where seals have their pups and egrets and pelicans fly. Surrounded by national and state parks, Stinson Beach is a gem set between the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Tamalpais. 45 minutes to San Francisco for fabulous dining, theatre, opera and symphony. 30 minutes to Mill Valley and golf and tennis. 15 minutes the famous redwood groves at Muir Woods National Monument just south of Stinson. In 1 1/2 hours you can be wine tasting in the Napa or Sonoma Valleys northeast of here.
You will be surrounded by beauty on all sides and able to relax in peace or to participate in friendly village life which has changed very little in over 35 years. There are several local restaurants and a general store which has most of what you will need. People who have lived here for many decades still celebrate the sun rising over Mt. Tamalpais and setting over the ocean. |
