As you cross the threshold you are welcomed by the serenity of a tropical oasis. Palm trees surround the oversized pool crowned by a 10 person HEATED Jacuzzi. Glass sliding doors unite the private exterior garden with the interior space. The natural, locally cut lime stone floors and louvered doors made of tropical Tzalam hardwood introduce you to an atmosphere of the Mexican Caribbean. The bedroom terrace winds around the upper floor overlooking the Marina. There are original paintings and artwork throughout the house. The third floor roof terrace offers spectacular views of the Bay of Cancun, the Caribbean Sea, and the magnificent tropical sun sets.
Forget about your car, walk, hop on a bicycle, drive a scooter or a golf cart. The island is only five miles long and still retains the flavor and charm of a Mexican fishing village. Owner's Map of Isla Mujeres
Heidi from Austria and Laurence from Canada are immigrants of Mexico. They fell in love with the country and its people. When not living and working in Mexico City they are sailing the Caribbean aboard their sailing vessel 'Don Quijote'.
