Our lovely 1300 sf garden level apartment has spectacular views of Boulder and the Rocky Mountain Continental divide. The open feel of the living, dining and kitchen rooms that bring the outdoors in, are a contrast to the cozy, but large, bedrooms. The ground floor, one level layout and wide doorways lend itself to being wheelchair accessible. It is totally private with its own entrance.
We have lived in Colorado most of our lives and are very willing to share with you information on points of interest in and around Boulder and Colorado. We are avid hikers, down-hill and back country skiers, cyclists and have 2 bikes & helmets to loan so that the 300 miles of Boulder bicycle lanes and multi-use paths become easy to enjoy. Walking the foothills and prairie opens views to birds, evergreen trees or rock climbers. Dry world class snow at ski areas are within 45 minutes to 1.25 hours drive from Boulder.

Owner Description
Reed is a retired electrical 7 telecommunications engineer and businessman with degrees in both. Carol is a retired Speech Therapist, Language Arts & Learning Disability teacher.
We are actively engaged with family (5 children, 5 grand children, 1 great grandchild), friends, bicycling, downhill & backcountry skiing, hiking, church choir singing, dancing, traveling...…and life in general. We are both graduates of the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Why the Owner Chose Boulder
We designed our house and included an apartment for our parents to live in when they needed assisted living.

We are warm and friendly and have lived in Boulder for 30 years and have a wealth of information about Boulder, and Colorado that we are more than willing to share with you. Having two loaner bikes for those that enjoy the wind in their hair is indeed serendipitous.

We stayed here with our 3 children in mid July. The place is very comfortable and close to activities in Boulder. The owners are very friendly and helpful for directions and accommodations. I would recommend this place. It was nice to have a kitchen to make breakfast and dinner. We also used the laundry facilities!

A beautiful and spacious condo with an amazing view! We really enjoyed having a cup of coffee in the morning by the garden pond and a glass of wine at night looking at the mountains. The location couldn't be more perfect as well! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Carol and Reed's guest apartment exceeded our expectations of a vacation rental. This apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from downtown Boulder, trails, and parks. We felt like we had quick access to Boulder yet a quiet getaway when we were done sightseeing. We stayed here with our two young children. We were very comfortable and felt at home! The property was clean and very well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies. We had a wonderful stay and will definately come again if we are in Boulder!

Our visit to this lovely home was just exactly what out family needed! It is close to all the things you want to do in Boulder and CU but in a neighborhood that takes you away from all the hustle and traffic of town. The home itself is incredibly well kept and comfortable. The owners are friendly and communication with them is timely, easy and informative. The view from the living room alone is worth the visit! The front patio is the perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee while taking in that gorgeous view. Loved the touch of having lots of local brochures, maps and guidebooks available- made it feel like a hotel only so much better. We had a small request while we were there and it was met with a smile and immediate help. Our family hopes to return again, soon !!

My Wife and I stayed there for ten days in June, Reed and Carol made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home it was our first time renting from them as we usually stay in a hotel . I stayed at this appartment with my two children for a week while we prepared for our move to Boulder. It was a great place to return to from our many excursions in and around Boulder! Very comfortably set up with lots of space in the living room and the two bedrooms, complete kitchen equipment, a laundry room, and a wonderful view from the sofa of the living room at the mountain range. The owners were very friendly and helpful, too. I can highly recommend this place and we plan to use it again when we have friends and relatives visit us in Boulder.
