This unique property provides the best Nantucket has to offer in the wonderful Madaket region of the island. The house is located on Long Pond, just a short walk to a neighborhood beach. The house has a huge deck and provides spectacular pond and ocean views from the deck, living room and second floors.
Walking distance from the house is beach access, tennis courts and a public transit stop that brings you to Town to access restaurants, museums, shopping & other local attractions. The house offers a recently renovated kitchen that opens into a two-story dining and living area with exposed beams. The first floor has two bedrooms, one with two twins and a second with a king bed (made of two long twins side by side) with a door leading to the deck. The first floor also has an IPod stereo, TV and wireless internet.
The second floor has a third bedroom with two twin beds and connected bathroom, as well as a master bedroom with king bed (two long twins together) and connected bathroom.
The walk-out basement has 2 bunks that sleep 4, and bathroom with shower and a washer / dryer.

The Unique Benefits at this House
It's a very short walk to a neighborhood beach, close to bike path and there is public transit to down nearby. The property is next to Long Pond and has pond and ocean views.
This is a beach for homes in our neighborhood. It's a short walk from the house.
This is the bridge where there used to be staffed by 'Madaket Millie' - a well know local celebrity. Kids like to catch crabs here. This is also a great place to take a bike ride or walk.
Charter fishing boats take off from this small dock. We love Captain Tom's Charters. www.capttom.com
This is the shuttle stop where you can catch a ride to Town. It's $1 per person. It also has a bike rack.
A nice place to visit for a beach day without waves. Careful of driving on sand without the right vehicle.
This is a 'bay' sandy beach. Good place to bring kids and poke around.
Here's Great Point. There is a lighthouse out here. To drive here, you need a sand permit and a good 4WD car with clearance. Ask for advice on tire pressure, etc.
