Great place to chill out!
Great place to chill out!
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this great hideaway! The front porches (upper and lower) are super for just relaxing with your favorite beverage and just letting the sound of the rushing creek below drift up and fill your senses. All the rooms were more than adequate and each has a sliding door that can be opened to the sound of the creek and fresh air. The kitchen was well equipped and a quite adequate size. Once you conquer the short steep driveway and master turning around, the rest is great. I would recommend it for just getting away from it all!

Ed & Patti, I just wanted to drop you a note while I had a moment to let you know we enjoyed our stay immensely and appreciate your allowing us to have an extra night and your flexibility with our arrival time. It was a experience driving up to the cabin for us and something we share when discussing our trip with family and friends, it was scenic and an adventure in itself. The setting of being amongst the tree tops and the view of the brook from the porch made it seem like we were in a tree house. We are considering a return trip perhaps in the fall to visit our friends and to take in the color change of the leaves so we will certainly let you know as I have bookmarked the page that I found your cabin on. Warmest Regards, David, Cheyenne, Marissa and Grant.

WOW! ENJOYED YOUR CABIN
This vacation was like no other. Every room in the cabin was bathed in the melodies of the rushing creek. Every morning, the minute we opened our eyes, we would open the sliding glass door and jump back in our warm bed only to listen to that wonderful music. It was so peaceful there. Looking out and seeing all the beautiful mountains was such a treat. Each morning we would look at the sun shining on the mountain and knew what time it was. The porch is so inviting to have your coffee every morning while you watch and hear the creek. The precious, sweet touches the owners created in this cabin will make you feel so at home. It has everything you need. We saw some wild turkeys out in the lawn one afternoon. The island in the middle of the creek was a very special place for us. My son and husband played for hours as I relaxed and read a book. I actually cried when we left this cabin even though we would still be on vacation. Next time we won't stay under a week. Cozy Cabin on Bold Rushing Creek
Cozy Cabin on Bold Rushing Creek
We had a great time in the cabin on Bold Rushing Creek!! It was nice to be removed from the city in such a beautiful location. All the leaves were changing which we could see from either porch. The cabin was very comfortable, clean and really met our needs. All my concerns were addressed in terms of the amenities that were provided - everything was as stated, which I really appreciate. We had a little trouble understanding how the TV worked - but we called the property manager and she told us what channel to put it on to make it work. Loved the creek - it must be a blast in the summer time - kids would love it. The cabin was close to Great Smoky Mountain National Park - which we particularly wanted to see. We drove part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, visted Asheville and made it to Tennessee. Sylva, the nearest town, was pleasant to meander through as were the other towns in the area. Thanks so much for the warm hospitality. If we are ever out that way again, we now know who to contact!

Peaceful Relaxation In A Forest Setting
Peaceful Relaxation In A Forest Setting
A great place to escape your worries but close to walking trails in a beautiful national park, the Cherokee Nation including local artist gift shops and a casino, Asheville at 1 hour with the Biltmore house and gardens and much more. We enjoyed driving to Cashiers which is a beautiful drive. They had an arts and craft show with very talented local craftsmen and women. So - lots to do within a reasonable drive. The cabin was just as advertised. We even had a small problem with the washing machine and the manager and owner had it fixed within a day. The owner has a wonderful cabin and obviously wants to and is keeping it well maintained. The 2.2 mile road was gravel when we arrived but during our 2 week stay was being prepared for pavement. We really enjoyed staying in this cabin. I would definitely recommend this cabin to a friend or relative.

Manager response: Our 2.2 mile country road has now been paved.
After figuring out the parking for two cars, the cabin was everything we could wish for. The cabin & property are well-maintained, and stocked with everything needed, including cooking pans, utensils, towels, hair dryer, grill & charcoal, etc. I would be happy to stay here again, and have already recommended the cabin (& the site) to another family. It is well-situated for area attractions: Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the railroad, shopping & restaurants in nearby towns. We were very pleased with our choice of cabins.

Manager response: We have easy access to the front door of our cabin with parking just a few steps away. If you have more than one car, larger vehicles or a motorhome we have more than adequate additional parking below our cabin. You would have stairs to climb.
We had a wonderful week in the lovely cabin. Everything was thoughtfully laid out and ready for us. The cabin is delightful - very quiet and peaceful. Thank you for sharing it.

Being Lullabied To Sleep By The Creek - Priceless
Your mountain retreat is terrific - the perfect place to kick back and get away from the grind of everyday life. The two porches overlooking the creek are just as relaxing as you described - so much so that I had to be forcefully yanked out of the porch swing. The cabin has all the comforts and ammenities necessary to make vacationing just what it should be - an easy escape! The location is ideal for daily trips to any of the sites you want to go - from Ashville to Nantahala, from the Blue Ridge Parkway to Maggi Valley and from Cherokee to Smokie Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg and Cades Cove. We were fortunate enough to be there when the leaves were still at their peak and when one of the first real cold snaps brought snow to the upper elevations - beautiful - just like a winter wonderland. We sure enjoyed the fireplace on those cold nights and being lullabied to sleep by the creek - which had swelled quite a lot from the rains - was priceless. I hope to return again.
