This apartment has been in the family for years.
At the beginning, long ago in 1985, I have lived here with my husband, as a couple and then with one child. Lots of very happy memories. The neighbourhood was friendly and everything such as walks, cultural sites, restaurants, bars and cinemas were walking distance.
On our second child we had to move, the apartment was getting a little tight to live in but we kept the apartment for sentimental reasons and after that...I just imagine how people can enjoy spending some time in this place....

Hi! This is me...Daniela
I was born from an english mother and an italian father, born and raised in Rome where I have always lived. What do I feel more like? I feel I can take the best of two worlds :-)
I have 3 children (19,16 and 7) and this is my little business apart from trying to be a good mother.
I love meeting people, speaking languages, getting to know different cultures, I love travelling and I have tried to grow my children to be citizens of the world. It is such a nice place to be in!!

I feel very fortunate that “Myrhome” was available for the 4 nights my husband & I required in October. I had spent numerous hours reviewing various hotels, B&B’s etc… & found that the selection was very limited with respect to offering the amenities, convenience of location & affordability of Daniela’s apartment. “Myrhome” is clean, comfortable and spacious. The washing machine is an added bonus. The website photos present an accurate portrait of the apartment. The apartment is located in the heart of the designer fashion district so “serious” shoppers will be happy to know that the apartment is equipped with a small elevator. Upon our arrival Daniela was kind enough to provide us with a complimentary bottle of wine, a bottled water, some milk & biscuits. In addition she provided us with a comprehensive list of suggested restaurants, coffee shops and grocery options. After many exciting yet exhausting hours of sightseeing it was truly a treat to sit back and enjoy the comfort of “our home away from home”. In fact, we even enjoyed curling up on the couch to watch a couple of DVD’s & browse through some of the guide books Daniela has available . I would not hesitate to recommend “Myrome” to friends & family. When I return I know where I’ll stay. Thank you Daniela for making our stay in Rome even better.

We stayed in the apartment for one week and after travelling for 7 weeks we delighted to find an apartment we could call "Home" for that time.It was conveniently located and in very good condition, with a very well equiped kitchen just perfect for popping out to nearby Deli's and markets and preparing a meal at home after long days walking and exploring the beautiful city. Daniela was most helpful with handy hints of lovely restaurants and wine bars of those days/nights we didn't wish to stay in. Only suggestion by careful with the Air Con in the bedroom as it is a little temperamental and the entry stair railing is loose. We would love to come back in the future. Owner response:Hello Jill, thanks to you I now know all the different flap positions of the a/c and the building manager has been once again told off about the stair rail...! Hopefully it will still be up one day you come back ;-) My regards D

We stayed at Daniela's apartment for three nights in Rome 9/25-9/28 and absolutely loved it. First Daniela is amazing and the perfect host and secondly the apartment is beautiful, very clean, and well furnished. The location couldn't be more perfect, near top notch shopping (Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc...) and walking distance to nearly everything you need to see and if you don't want to walk the subway (easy to navigate) is nearby. When in Rome I highly recommend Daniela's place, you will not be disappointed. Many Thanks Daniela. Todd in Los Angeles
Owner response:Thank you very much Todd it was great meeting you! Looking forward to my future trip in the Napa Valley :-) and untill then... my best regards Daniela

Bright, Modern, Minimalist with all the right touches

I have nothing but positive things to say about Daniela and her perfectly appointed Rome apartment. It was impeccable and in a fabulous location. The apartment is bright, airy, clean, modern and minimalist. We stayed there with our 17 year old daughter and found it was just the right amount of space for the three of us. Daniela was exceptionally accommodating and easy to work with; there was internet access, an italian cell phone available, lot's of tourist recommendations, and coffee and biscuits for breakfast. The apt. is a couple of long blocks from the Spanish Steps in a very high fashion area with lots of foot traffic. However, the windows are so well insulated and there was air conditioning, outside noise is not apparent. Between Daniela and the house-keeper, there was always someone available. As it was our second time in Rome, we decided to get a reference for a tour guide to help us carve out a few in-depth tours. Daniela recommended Francesca, a high school art history teacher, whom we adored. Francesca was extremely knowledgeable and flexible, with an engaging personality. I would not hesitate to recommend Daniela's apartment and if you can book Francesca consider yourself lucky and in store for the trip of a lifetime.
Owner response:Great family! Thank you for your nice words... Daniela

MyRhome the perfect place

MyRhome the perfect place My wife and I stayed at MyRhome for 11 days. It was one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had. Daniela made the arrangements for the airport pick-up, which we really appreciated specially after a very long trip and a very lengthy process going thru customs in the Fiumicino Airport (20 flights altogether). Daniela met us at the apartment to explain the logistics (keys, kitchen,AC, deposit payment, etc). She is a very nice and friendly person that made you feel truly welcome. She provided us with a list of nearby supermarkets, markets and restaurants. Although the apartment photos were accurate, the truth is that in person it is much better, roomy, with 6 french windows, very illuminated. Everything was very clean, the kitchen well stocked with all the appliances (brand new) that you might need, and more. Everything in the apartment was absolutely perfect, we felt right at home. In the living room there is a library stocked with guidebooks and other interesting books, a TV with lots of channels and music. The apartment is so well located that we were near a lot of attractions. You also have the Spagna Metro and San Silvestro Bus Terminal very near (less than a 5 minutes easy walk). The area is also full of nice restaurants. We absolute recommend Pino alla Coppelle and Sora Lucia, both recommended by Daniella. Another excellent restaurant that you should not miss is Caffetteria Canova Tadolini. Daniela also made the arrangements for the transportation back to the airport at 5:00 AM, without any hassle for us. We recommend this apartment 100%, much better than staying at a hotel, regardless of the number of ****. Ciao Daniela, hope to see you again!
Owner response:Ciao! I also hope to see you again and I am so pleased that you have enjoyed your holiday. You were special guests too... :-) Many regards and thank you! Daniela

My husband and I arrived on Christmas Eve. The location was wonderful, the apartment was perfect - Daniela had decorated with a small table top Christmas tree and poinsetta - very festive! And appreciated. It was not our first time in Rome but it was our first time there for the holidays and it was just wonderful. I highly recommend Rome for Christmas and New Years and "My Rhome".The location of the apartment could not have been better. It is very comfortable and well maintained. It was our home away from home. The Italian coffee pot was a big hit and we are now using one at home! We would highly recommend this property.
Owner response:Xmas seems such a long time ago... Thank you and hope you will be returning soon!

My husband and I arrived at this wonderful apartment on Oct. 17, 2010. It was our first trip to Rome so we were a bit nervous renting an apartment in a strange city. We couldn't have been more pleased! The apartment was light, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The windows were double-paned and there were air conditioners in the living room and bedroom, although we didn't use them. Daniela and her assistant stocked the refrigerator with essentials to get us started. She even had fluffy white bathrobes in the bedroom for us, a nice touch after a very long flight from Seattle. There was a little elevator (not that common in many places) but we used it only with our luggage because the apartment was only one floor up. The bed was very comfortable and there were spacious wardrobes in the bedroom. The kitchen was modern and convenient, and the wash machine was an added bonus. She even had a cell phone there for our use. It was a joy to return to our "home" each evening! The location was fabulous, close to the Spanish Steps, the Spagna subway station, and the San Silvestro bus stop, which was a helpful time saver. We had a bit of trouble with the security door key when we arrived on Sunday. Daniela's assistant was wonderful and said they would get it looked at the next day. I only mention it because it was promptly repaired as promised. The photos are accurate. This apartment was lovely and I have already recommended it to friends. We hope we can return someday! Thank you Daniela and Mari!

The location is ideal, right in the center, next to the Spanish Steps. The appartment is very comfortable, quiet, spacious and decorated with excellent taste. We travelled with our two kids and had a wonderful time. The owner, Daniela, went out of her way to make our stay really comfortable. The appartment is fully equipped, good kitchen, dishwasher, air condition... Perfect for couples or families with kids!
Owner response:I am still thinking when it will be my time in Barcelona.... Hope you are well, Daniela

I searched various listings for a recent stay; however, this was a good choice for several reasons: (a) it was on a side street, proving good at night for sleep as Rome is very alive, (b) the condo had double-pane windows, which made it more quiet (a costly upgrade in Italy), (c) Daniele was wonderful, very reliable, dependable and honest, as well as thoughtful (she insisted on getting an alarm clock when I asked where to buy one, which was thoughtful, which was easy for me to buy), (d) the kitchen was nicely equipped, so welcomed when we decided to eat in and/or pursue one of the 'prepared foods' from a local butcher shop (the pesta was delicious), (e) the unit was wonderfully air conditioned (was hot for a couple of days), (f) the shutters, period for the building, were a further welcome for solid evening sleep, (g) location was great, with a lift, with one of older it was welcomed, (h) the unit was very comfortable, matresses were great, it was good. So, you have it. By the way, the restaurant at the end of the street (dead ended, easy to find) was delicious, a bit pricey, but delicious. Oh, Hell, every restaurant around there was great. Enjoy.
Owner response:A little late in answering but....thank you! ...Specially from someone as detailed as you :-) I hope to be meeting up again

After returning home from Rome just four days again I find myself ruminating about all the memories I created during my stay. This was my first trip traveling to Europe alone and I landed in a very comfortable, safe, and welcoming Rhome! I can not say enough about Daniela. Throughout the planning and time prior to my arrival she was helpful and supportive. During my stay Daniela arranged a car service, fresh necessities in the fridge (milk, butter, coffee), and a thorough explanation of the area, the apartment, and directions to essential places (ie. grocery stores). The apartment was more than I expected and offered more comfort than I never could have found staying in a hotel room. I was able to entertain old and new friends who visited without ever feeling restricted. Because of the apartments excellent location in five minutes you can be sitting on the Spanish steps, shopping in Gucci, or strolling in Borgese gardens. I can not imagine my first trip to Rome not having stayed at My Rhome...If you are planning to travel to Rome and want the experience of living in the heart of the city, strolling through the cobble stone streets Daniela's apartment is where you want to be. Thank you so much Daniela.
Owner response:Hi Nel! I am really pleased you have enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you soon! D
