Come to the Galveston area and spend your time overlooking the Gulf Coast! This condo is a 2 BR 2 bath unit located on the 11th floor of the building. The living room sliding glass doors open to a spectacular view of the gulf. Looking to the east, you view beach and rock jetties; looking to the west you see amusement parks and a movie complex. At the rear of the unit, you can gaze from the balcony onto a waterway and the Moody botanical gardens and Schlitterbahn. On the 4th of July walk across the street to view the Galveston fireworks show and then stand on the rear balcony to see the Moody Garden fireworks show.
Our unit contains a small library, which allows you to just relax on the deck reading a favorite novel or going down to the pool to join other quests in swimming, sun-bathing, and grilling your food at the barbecue pit. The unit contains a full kitchen, cable TV/DVD unit as well as wireless internet.

- Oceanfront : The Seawall is directly across from us. Frap (large rock) has been placed in the front of the Seawall to retain the shoreline. The beach is about 6 blocks to our left on the Seawall.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Per night rental rates are: $110-140 per night(2 night minimum)
Special: book a week in March for $750 plus the 15% tax
Additional cost is an $80 cleaning fee.
Stays less than 30 days require Texas sales tax (15%).

Half of the amount of the reservation is due at the
time of the booking; the remainder is due a week before arrival.

Thanks so much for the use of your condo for the month of July. I enjoyed my daily walks on the seawall. My daughter(10yrs) loved sitting on the balcony watching the birds and the gulf below.My husband really made use of the tennis courts with some of the owners and renters on weekends.The location is just perfect.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My Husband, mother-in-law, 3 of our kids and I stayed here June 14-17. I cannot compliment the owners enough on their charmingly decorated, comfortable condo. The owner was very easy to reach by phone when we had to call him for help with the internet password. The sleeping areas were very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook, which definately saved us some money and hassel of trying to figure out where to eat each night. It was so nice being so close to Moody gardens, Schitterbahn and the beach...as well as Walmart :) We would HIGHLY recommend this condo, and hope to visit again next year!!

I stayed in Unit 1105 for 8 months. The view of the Gulf is as good as it gets; something you'll never get tired of. You can see a mile up and down Seawall, and sometimes even helicopters fly by at eye level. At night, the sound of traffic dies down and yields to the waves. The condo is well furnished with seating, bedding, dishes, towels, radio/tv, etc... The building staff are really friendly, and lobby security is on duty 24/7. The parking lot behind the building is locked in at night. I've never seen or heard of any criminal activity on the premises since I've been here. It stays quiet a lot of the time since most of the By The Sea homeowners don't actually live here. Of the homeowners I've met, everyone has been very nice, and they all love to party together. This place has come to feel like home, and I'll really miss it. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever make it back to Galveston again.

We just got back from staying in this condo. It was perfect! The owner supplied everything we needed. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 small children (under the age of 5). Saturday night we cooked steaks on the gas grill by the pool. The owner is very accomodating. We are already looking forward to staying here again next summer!

We stayed in the condo for 4 nights. The owner was extremely accomodating, squeezing our reservation in last minute. We enjoyed having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for only a little more than we paid last year to have one bedroom and on bathroom in another unit. We loved the security staff and the pool area was wonderful as well. The unit has shopping carts and bellhop carts that make unloading/unpacking and checking out a breeze. The condo had nice extras such as a boogie board, chairs, and floaties. The beds were very comfortable and my family of 5 felt like we had plenty of room. The view was beautiful. We would definitely recoomend this unit to others and stay there again in the future.

We just got back from a 2-nite stay at Unit 1105. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. The view was wonderful, we read books on the balcony over the ocean both nights. The condo was very well-kept, and was well-stocked with supplies and even some groceries. The small library was neat too. I ended up reading a couple of books from it. On Sat nite, we cooked out at the gas grill by the pool. Very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this to people like us wanting a quiet time close to the beach. The owner was only a phone call away, and always very helpful.

The owner was so helpful when we had wireless internet problems and really went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy in his condo. The condo has a great view and the balcony is nice for drinking morning coffee and watching the birds and fishermen in the bay.

Comments continued.... We really enjoyed the pool area behind the condos and this unit was on the 11th floor so the view of the sea was beautiful- especially at sunset! The other long-term residents in the condo high rise were nice and the security guard at the front desk knew us by the end of the week. Enjoy your stay!

Very clean and well kept Condo. Has great views of the ocean. Was able to see Dolphins off the Balcony. Had a couple of Pelicans fly right by the balcony. Highly recommend this place!
