This House is a 3 story duplex. The second and third levels are available for guests use. The first level is retained for our housekeeper. This spacious mountain lodge is situated in Yosemite West, a private developement in the heart of Yosemite National Park.
The fully-equipped kitchen, Dining area and Living room, have an open floor plan with plenty of seating to accommodate your family with ease. The Living Room has a beautiful rock fireplace, satellite television with DVD player, and the sliding glass door provides access to a large deck equipped with a gas BBQ and 2 tables with chairs.
Down the hall is access to 2 bedrooms, each has a Queen sized bed and built-in drawers with mirror. One bedroom has a private bath; the other has a shared bath. These two bedrooms share a deck that overlooks the cozy forest, deliciously scented with cedar and pine.
Upstairs is the 3rd Bedroom, shared Bath and Den. This bedroom has 2 Queen-sized beds, a built-in drawer with mirror and a small balcony. The Den has 3 comfortable chairs, satellite television with VCR/DVD and also a small balcony.
There is off-street parking for 3 cars. The Hutchings House has NO LAUNDRY FACILITIES!
To reserve the dates you desire to stay, a $300.00 cleaning/security deposit is required. Reservation dates will not be held without a deposit. This deposit provides against any damage you may incur to the rental property and or excessive uncleanness during your stay, and is fully refunded provided there hasn't been anything taken or broken and you have upheld the rental agreement including the clean-up procedure and NO SMOKING and NO PETS policy.
THis is a NO SMOKING and NO PETS facility. If you smoke in or around rental property or bring a pet you will lose the entire $500.00 deposit.
SECURITY DEPOSITS ARE REFUNDED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF CHECK-OUT, PROVIDED THE ABOVE STATED PROCEDURES ARE UPHELD.
Balance is due in full 30 days before check-in. If you cancel within 30 days but before 7 days of arrival, we will refund your money minus a 10% cancellation fee. If you cancel within 7 days of arrival, we charge 100%, unless rebooked by another party, then we refund your money minus a 10% cancellation fee.
If you make a reservation within 30 days of arrival but before 2 days of check-in we give a 2 day grace period before we charge you, after that the above stated cancellation rules apply.
If a reservation in cancelled at any time the cleaning/security deposit will be refunded in full. Refunds are returned within 30 days of cancellation. Thank you.

The accommodations were spacious and very clean. It is the perfect distance between Mariposa Grove and Yosemite valley floor. The description is accurate and everything was in good working condition. I can recommend it.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
