Location: Mom's Beach House is tucked away in a quiet riverfront location, next to the access path to beautiful Mother's Beach, a large expanse with lots of sand. Located in the Hacienda Bridge area of Forestville, this home is a few blocks from a neighborhood market and coffee shop, and the bridge itself. The very best of Sonoma County wine-tasting begins just across the Hacienda Bridge onto Westside Road, and Korbel is just down the road.
House: One of our most romantic cabins, Mom's Beach House (~800 sq. ft.) is delightfully furnished and full of charm, with a superb river view. This charming cabin has been completely remodeled, and is bright and cheery with hardwood floors and skylights. The living room and kitchen are open to each other and include a dining set for four. The living area opens to a deck with river view. The cheery living room has a gas fireplace, and flat screen Cable TV with VCR and DVD. The kitchen is new and modern. A hot tub deck opens off the kitchen. A set of stairs leads down to the airy bedroom suite, which has a king bed (rarely found here in small homes) facing a wall of windows, and a spacious vintage-style bath with oversized claw foot tub with shower. This home has high-speed Internet access.
Grounds: The grounds of Mom's Beach House are the wild, wooded slopes that lead down to the river. This home has a fenced dog run (unusual as very few riverfront homes have any secure fencing). Off the living room, there's a deck with breakfast table, charcoal BBQ, and great view of the river. The deck off the kitchen has a two person hot tub and bistro set, and is screened for complete privacy. |
