Welcome to our wonderful cabin in the quiet community of Big Bear City! Our cabin is new construction in 2008! We NOW have 1,250 sq feet of space for your family to come up and enjoy, when we are not able to! In July 2010 we finished the brand new en-suite master bath and master suite! We are very excited about this new addition to our cabin with a brand new back deck! This is our second home so we have added many things that the typical "rental" would not have. WE HAVE CENTRAL HEAT! which most cabins don't have. It's great in the winter!
We find that our cabin is relaxing, and feels just like home. In fact, we have a hard time leaving our cabin, and so will you! We have provided a warm and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Big Bear.
Our alpine chalet has 2 bedrooms + a loft, and now, 2 baths! The downstairs master suite with en-suite bath, has a beautiful custom travertine shower, and a granite double-sink custom vanity. Our upstairs bedroom also has a custom Kentucky Queen log bed. Both of our log beds are equipped with Tempur-Pedic mattresses.
The loft has a twin bed and a double futon. All the beds have nice new rustic bedding, comforters, and sheets. We feel that using nice bedding makes staying away from home just that more special.
Our kitchen includes everything you need to cook. Brand new Kenmore appliances make everything easy. We have provided most everything (we think) to be able to put together a fantastic meal in the mountains! Please tell us if we have left anything out..........
The counter tops are tumbled marble tile, and the cabinets are custom red oak. The kitchen table has seating for 4. Out the slider door from the kitchen is our backyard with a custom built deck with a nice b-bque with seating and a picnic table, which provides a great place to relax, especially in the summertime when it's gorgeous outside!
The living room is really comfortable with a leather sofa and an over sized chair to sit and enjoy the fireplace or the 37 inch flat screen TV, complete with a BluRay DVD player (bring your BluRays) We also have a DVD library so feel free to enjoy a movie. We have wireless internet! ....and an audio jack connection for your ipods and to play music on the stereo. Our pool table will provide hours of fun after the long day hiking or skiing (it is not regulation size but is still a lot of fun)!
We are minutes from both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, so enjoy the quiet and relax while still being close enough to enjoy it all! During the summer, there is hiking, biking, and lake activities to enjoy. This is a year-round area so anytime of year is nice. Please enjoy your stay in our quiet cabin!

We thought the location of our cabin was ideal in a quiet area but close enough to skiing and hiking but away from the party life of Big Bear central. It was perfect for us.

There are alot of properties around but our cabin is simply put, NEW and one of a kind! We offer all the amenities of a 5 star resort but at a bargain price. You won't find many cabins like ours, especially with all the neat touches that we feel make it just like home, or even better!

Hello there! Heather, Lisa and John (Heather and I are in the picture!) welcome you to our cabin in Big Bear! We just wanted you to know a little more about us. John and I are musicians and own our cabin with our my sister Heather, who lives in TX. We bought our cabin in June 2008, but started looking in February during a really big snow storm! As busy musicians John and I really felt like we needed a getaway for our family in the mountains. Heather and I are skiers and love going to Snow Summit! During March of the 2010 ski-season we both learned how to snowboard, very brave of us.! I think I am still sore! We all love hiking the trails up here and look forward to more wonderful times, winter or summer!

This was by far the best cabin I've ever rented...and I've rented lots of them! Very cozy & warm...you feel so at home. The cabin has everything you can imagine. Owners very helpful. It's close to the slopes & in a very quiet residential area.

My two kids (ages 5 and 8) and I stayed in this cabin this past weekend, and loved every minute of the trip. I walked in and was blown away by how nice the cabin was. The pics are nice, but in person even better ( I took a ton of pics)! Everything about this cabin felt like a warm cozy home. The beds were amazingly comfortable. It came stocked with everything you needed just in case you forgot something. It is super clean too! When my kids are out this summer, I may want to come stay a whole week. So yes, I hope to be back!!! Thanks, Lisa for the great communication and for working with me. :)

My family and I were so thrilled to have found and selected this beautiful cabin as our getaway stay for our 2012 New Years weekend vacation. We stayed here with an out-of-town family visiting from Puerto Rico. Both our families (4 adults and 2 boys - age 4 and 5) loved everything about it! The home was fully stocked with all the newest amenities - everything we needed and more to make homemade meals and relax after a day full of skiing. All the beds were super comfortable and warm. Everything was new or nearly new and very clean. We enjoyed the fireplace, spacious kitchen, board games, internet, modern bathrooms, and entertainment system. The pool table was a great bonus too! The real plus was the ease of communication and simple, straightforward pricing with the owners. We sent Lisa numerous emails before our stay and she responded almost immediately, always available to answer our questions and very pleasant to work with. Our guests from Puerto Rico left highly impressed with Big Bear thanks in great part to our lodging selection. We are certain we will choose this home again when we return for more ski trips to Big Bear (if its available!). Thank you again Lisa and family for allowing us to enjoy a memorable 2012 New Year in your gorgeous home! P.S. Distance from the cabin to the Big Bear Ski is approximately 7 miles and takes 16 minutes. P.P.S. We had other family members who also stayed in Big Bear that weekend - at the foot of the Big Bear ski entrance. When they saw our home they were shocked and bummed in their choice because their home didn't even provide toilet paper! This home on the other hand was like staying in a hotel. We felt so lucky and proud to show off our great cabin choice!

Our 1st time going up to Big Bear during the summer! We went during the 4th of July weekend and had a fabulous time at your clean, beautiful cabin!!! The master bedroom and bath were luxurious! The pool table was a big hit with my kids and hubby! We all had a great time. Thank you so much Lisa for making our Memorial Weekend a wonderful in Beautiful Palms Springs. It is our 44 th wedding annivsary. We had so much fun. The condo was perfect for us. It was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. It is steps to the pool, which was great for us. We watched the Lakes win game 6 on your flat screen TV in the living room. We went up to your beautiful cabin the first weekend in March. This was the first time my 3 year-old was ever in the snow and we had a great time. We found a hill nearby for sledding and we were so thrilled to find sleds in the back yard. The cabin had a wonderful homey feel and the beds were very comfortable. We really had a fantastic time on our much needed weekend get-away. Thank you for opening you cabin. We would recommend this cabin to anyone interested. On another note my son thinks we stayed at "Kevin;s House"- instead of the "Cabin House" he is still talking about how much fun he had at "Kevin's House!"
