Location: Big Bear City, Big Bear, Inland Empire, California, USA (3.5 miles from Snow Summit and Bear Mountain)

Accommodations:  Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 1 Bath (Sleeps 5)

Welcome to our new cabin in the quiet community of Big Bear City! Our cabin is a new construction so everything is new. We have 1,100 sq feet of space for your family to come up and enjoy, when we are not able to! This is our second home so we have added many things that the typical "rental" would not have. WE HAVE CENTRAL HEAT! which most cabins don't have. It's great in the winter!

We find that our cabin is relaxing, and feels just like home. In fact, we have a hard time leaving our cabin, and so will you! We have provided a warm and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Big Bear.

Our chalet has 2 bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs next to the loft, each with a custom Kentucky Queen log bed. Each of these log beds are equipped with Tempur-Pedic mattresses.

The loft has a twin bed and a double futon. All the beds have nice new rustic bedding, comforters, and sheets. We feel that using nice bedding makes staying away from home just that more special.

Our kitchen includes everything you need to cook. Brand new Kenmore appliances make everything easy. We have provided most everything (we think) to be able to put together a fantastic meal in the mountains!

The counter tops are tumbled marble tile, and the cabinets are custom. The kitchen table has seating for 6, but will usually be set up for seating for 4. Out the slider door from the kitchen is a propane Barbecue provided for those who wish to grill. We have a small yard out back for those who want to run around.

The living room is really comfortable with a leather sofa, and an over sized chair to sit and enjoy the fireplace or the 37 inch flat screen TV, complete with DVD player. We have a DVD library so feel free to enjoy a movie. We provide a DSL Ethernet hookup for laptops, so please feel free to bring your laptop, for those who can't get away from that... Our pool table will provide hours of fun after the long day hiking or skiing (it is not regulation size but is still a lot of fun)!

We are minutes from both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, so enjoy the quiet and relax while still being close enough to enjoy it all! During the summer, there is hiking, biking, and lake activities to enjoy. This is a year-round area so anytime of year is nice. Please enjoy your stay in our quiet cabin!

  • Lisa, sorry it took me so long to leave a comment here but i just got so busy and lost track of time... better late than never right. :D Anyway, as for comments about the cabin, we were just so suprised at the little gem of a cabin that you have. The place was so gorgeous inside and out and the accomodations were top of the line. We really appeciate the ammenities of the house and the little added bonuses (POol table, grill, and flat screen TV) that made our stay so marvelous! :D i cant wait until the next time we visit big bear again and i will definately come back and even refer you to some of my friends. :D thanks again.

  • Awesome cabin! Loved the fact that this was a new cabin-very clean! All the amenities including tv in bedroom, and living room were a plus! Loved the large bathroom and the fenced yard was a plus for our young daughter! It was very cozy-we will never stay in a hotel again!   • We had a great time at your cabin! It was clean, cosy, and everything was in great condition. We've stayed in other cabins at Big Bear, but this one was so comfortable and well-appointed I'm sure we'll be back. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond to questions. One warning to other guests, though: Once you enjoy the Keurig coffee maker they have there, you'll end up going home and buying your own. I just unwrapped mine tonight! Thanks for a fun stay!

  • We stayed in your cabin just last weekend...and we had such a wonderful time!! It was so beautifully decorated and had anything we could have possibly needed-- and then some. We spent a lot of time playing pool and cards, and even watched a few movies. And the process to rent was so easy and smooth!! We definitely intend on staying again during the summer. Thank you all for sharing such a beatiful place.

Your property is beautifully furnished with loving attention and fabulous style. Easy check-in and easy parking. Spotlessly clean and conveniently located just off Big Bear Blvd. Very quick 10 min or less drive to both Bear Mtn and Snow Summit, the Village, shops and restaurants.     WOW - there is so much snow at our cabin! I updated the first picture with a great pic that our housekeeper (Toni who takes such great care of our cabin) took for us on Monday, December 15th, right after the 1st snow of the season for 2008 hit. We are looking forward to a couple days of skiing right before Christmas eve, It should be amazing. Congrats to all our 2008 Christmas and New Year's guests that somehow timed this just right for fantastic skiing and snow play, enjoy, should be an amazing winter wonderland!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin! Everything was so clean and in perfect condition. The beds are incredibly comfy and we didn't have to worry about bringing our own linens or towels. Everything we needed was provided, including shampoo, conditioner and lotion. An especially nice touch was the bowl of chocolates on the kitchen table. The owners have really done a great job of providing a welcoming and luxurious home away from home. We plan to stay again!

  • Our family enjoyed a week long relaxing stay in this wonderful, brand-new cabin in Big Bear Lake! Extremely clean inside, all brand-new kitchen applliances and high quality, comfortable beds with nice and new sheets and comforters. Very quiet and nice neighborhood, only 5-10 minutes away from all acitivites and places to enjoy the beauty of Big Bear Lake. Our kids had a lot of fun playing pool table and watching their favorite channels on cable LCD TV in the comfortable living room. Our Laptop worked perfectly well with the free high speed DSL. We also used the brand-new BBQ in the backyard. Highly recommended! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your lovely “home away home” in the mountain, John, Lisa, and Heather! We'll definitely come back and stay again.
