A grand 2 story beamed cathedral ceiling great-room with stone fireplace and 5 French doors opens to an expansive deck and large (20'x 20')gazebo area, perfect for dinner with the whole family or just enjoying the view from a comfy rocking chair. There is a wonderful private master bedroom suite with luxury bathroom on the 1st floor and 2 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and another private deck on the 2nd floor. A 2nd floor balcony overlooks the great room. There is also a large bunk room that sleeps 4 on the terrace level and additional space in the sunny unfinished areas of the terrace level that has French doors and large windows facing the lake. The double garage is connected to the main house with a charming timberframe breezeway.
The house features the finest quality design, construction and appointments throughout including an upscale gourmet kitchen with granite counters and a 12' island facing the great room and lake views. Just off the kitchen is the fully wired, study/office with built-in desk, work spaces and wall-to-wall bookcases. Custom hickory doors and woodwork compliment the architecture and match the hickory kitchen and study cabinets. Designer furnishings, including many sturdy antique pieces, complete the house design and offer comfort and convenience for your stay.
The property has 800' of shoreline wrapping a private 3/4 acre park-like peninsula extending out into the main lake. There are sandy beaches on either side close to the house. Out on the point, there is a tranquil, shady, pine tree oasis surrounded with miles of great lake views. A max 40' dock in 8' deep water is perfect for boating and great for swimming. Fishing is good either from the dock or from any number of spots on the point. Mulch paths and walkways meander from the house along the water front to the end of the point for scenic enjoyment. The front courtyard is professionally landscaped to complement the house design.
