Why the Owner Chose Stateline
I visited Tahoe for the first time in my early 20's and fell in love with the incredible beauty of the lake ,meadows, and mountains,
I actually ended up purchasing 3 homes in this location including Snowbear. This area of Lake Village is in a perfect location! It is quiet and wooded, yet is only a mile or less to the beaches and Heavenly Gondola and casinos. There is a nice shopping center just 1/4 mile up the highway for grocery needs.
We have a clubhouse available for guests which includes a swimming pool, tennis courts, saunas, pool and ping pong tables. (Swimming pool and tennis courts closed in the winter)
The property is well maintained and heavily wooded and It is surrounded on three sides by forest. The roads are well maintained by our own staff and snowplowed to keep them open in the winter! When you arrive home you have comfy beds as well as a toasty and inviting private hot tub at your disposal!

Our family were guests at Tahoma for a week beginning July 18. The townhouse has plenty of room for a family to spread out and yet is very cozy and comfortable. Being nestled in among the pinetrees gave us a very peaceful feeling but we were just a short drive from the casinos and beaches. We would like to return next year!

Great location. Very clean and well equipped. The owner communicates very well from the first enquiry through confirmation details and rapid return of cleaning deposit (assuming you don't leave a.mess!). Nice having the garage to keep snow or frost off your car. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a great condo, close to everything in a quiet secluded condo development just east of the casinos. We recommend the prime rib at the Lakeside Inn just west of the condo. We stayed for three nights and four days and had a great time. There is a Safeway store close by just east of the condo and very handy. We even entertained on Sunday night and had plenty of room for our group of 8 around the large dining room table. The gas barbecue on the deck was great for grilling and the home is neat, clean and big enough for a gathering. The two bedrooms are large enough to cater to two couples or a family and the two bathrooms are perfect. We used the hot tub each night and having an enclosed garage to park our two cars was a huge bonus to me. Nancy was easy to deal with and the condo was ready when we arrived and all was in order. I highly recommend this condo and it was a bargain at the price. We will be back.

Very pleasant stay at Tahoma lodge

Our family of 4 adults and 2 kids had a very comfortable stay at Tahoma Lodge. The home was warm and comfortable, the kitchen and towels were well stocked, and access to attractions was easy. The beds were a bit soft but bearable for a short stay. To top it all, the owner was incredible - I woke her up by calling her at 11 PM to ask for directions (because I had lost my scrap of paper) and she cheerfully guided me to the home. That's service!
Owner response:Our goal is to provide everything for our guest's comfortable visit. One of the primary needs of our visitors is a clean comfortable bed! We have firm hotel quality mattresses in our three vacation homes. What may have confused VJ is the addition of a one and a half inch memory foam topper below the mattress pad on each of the beds. This provides a cushioning effect and extra comfort. It does not cause any loss of firmness in the matress structure, and can be easily slipped out by the guests if they desire. To date, our cleaning staff has never found the topper removed after a guest departure! I am pleaseed thet VJ reccommended our home and enjoyed the amenities, location, and warmth of Tahoma Lodge. We are frequent Tahoe visitors and this was our first time staying in Lake Village. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and we loved the location. Lake Village is a very quiet and peaceful location. Booking the property was very easy and the owner addressed any questions we had promptly. The property was very clean and extremely well maintained. All of the amenities listed were available and served our needs. I would definitely recommend this location. Thank you Nancy...we'll be back!

We stayed in Lake Tahoe for 5 days in the Lake village condo complex which has a pool, clubhouse and playground. It was a great place for families. It was convenient to wonderful beaches, a supermarket (right down the road), and many places to eat. The owner was great in answering all of our questions before our trip. We loved staying in Tahoe and having all the amenities of home. The condo was stocked with kids games and movies. It was a great trip!

This place was great for a family with 2 young children. Close proximity to the mountain / casinos, yet located in a very quiet development. The unit is well-equipt: kitchen, laundry, comforts, etc. Nice set-up for young children also--the main living area is on the opposite floor of the bedrooms, so nice separation for kids who go to bed earlier than their parents. The place also has a nice selection of children's books and movies. Local snow removal crew had the driveway plowed the next morning after a foot+ of snow, which was nice. Overall, the place was very clean and well-maintained. The only issues that we encountered were some trouble with the internet connection and hot tub, but the owner was extremely responsive in rectifying the situation. Relative to other rentals in the area (based on my personal experience), this is a great value. Would stay here again and would recommend to friends & family.

Our contacts with the owner (Nancy) were super. She went above and beyond to supply us with clear, concise directions to the home as well as describing the amenities. The process for booking was very simple and payment via internet went without a hitch! When we arrived we found the home to be clean and well supplied with towels linens, cookware and comfortable beds! The pictures on the site are great, but once we arrived we found the location was also perfect! Just 1/4 mile to the grocery store and shopping, and less than a mile from the casinos, hiking trails and beaches. We had some great Snowball fights perfect skiing, and we even built a snowman! There were two couples and two kids in our gang and there was plenty of room! We really apreciated the large two car garage and comfortable enclosed hot tub area. The Hot tub was a great after a hard day of playing. When it snowed, the staff at Lake Village was right on the job, clearing the roads with several snowplows and keeping everything accessable. Mnay people around us didn't have garages, boy were we happy to have our two cars tucked in out of the snow at night. The home was very well supplied with books, games and TV in each bedroom. There was an additional TV and DVD player in the Living room area with a supply of DVD's and tapes that were enjoyed by the adults and kids alike. Two members of our party brought their laptops and were able to use the Tahoma WIFI network to keep tabs on their messages We were on there for 6 nights, however we could have stayed there for two weeks and never run out of things to do. We are now in the process of booking a summer visit, and we think think Tahoma Lodge is a hidden gem and a real bargain. Great home, great owner!

The Tahoma Lodge was a wonderful home away from home to stay for our vacation. It was very comfortable and fully furnished with everything we needed from laundry detergent to games & movies for the kids! We were very impressed! In the past, we've stayed at timeshares and hotels and didn't have any of the ammenities Tahoma Lodge had to offer. And so close to beaches, casinos, etc! We look forward to many more vacations at your rental. Thanks again, Nancy!

We had a fabulous time in Tahoe and the accomodations certainly contributed to that. At the end of a hard day with the family reunion it was nice to kick back and relax. Everything was just as pictured and Nancy checked in via email shortly after we arrived just to make sure things were ship shape. Definately would repeat the visit.
