This house was everything advertised plus more! We have an asthmatic child who requires a very clean environment. She did great here. The home was VERY clean. The linens/towels were also very clean and nice. The room sizes were just right. The great room/kitchen/dining area was spacious. Views - Outstanding. Could sit on deck and watch the children play in the sand (directly in the back yard). The house is located at the north end, more quiet than the south end of the island. Manager/Owner was very proffesional and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this home. WE WILL VISIT AGAIN!

Best Beach House on Tybee

This home is just a dream vacation to stay for a week. We just got back after staying a week in this awesome house with 4 adults & 2 kids. Pictures are almost always deceiving but not this time! What a beautiful property!! The property was well maintained and clean and the owners were most helpful and accommodating as we planned our trip. The location couldn't have been better. We loved sitting on the large porch watching the cargo ships (my dad's favorite pasttime) come into the Savannah River and the dolphins playing in the ocean. The decor was gorgeous and had every amenity we could think of. The kids loved having the bunk bed & the adults loved waking up to the sights/sounds of the ocean every morning. The kitchen had all the dishes & appliances we needed. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of linens and towels. Without hesitation, I would most definitely recommend this property to anyone and everyone. We are already planning next year's trip.

We stayed here for 5 days with 4 adults and an 18 month old and enjoyed every single minute. The views from the house are amazing and you couldn't be closer to the beach! The house is beautifully decorated, well maintained, and everything we needed was already there when we arrived. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the ocean, and when it was time to go play on the beach, we were there in 30 seconds. The owners are great to work with, always responded to our questions immediately, and have done a great job in making this house comfortable for their guests. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

I have stayed at many Beach Homes and this by far was the best! I couldn't ask to be any closer to the Beach. I am also VERY picky about cleanliness and this house was immaculate! The owner was excellent to deal with - always answering my questions and being very accomodating. The decor was beautiful and the Master Bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in along with the super soft sheets and comforter. And I cannot leave out the lounge chair on the upstairs deck - it was heavenly (I feel asleep on it twice and spent hours reading on it). I will definitely be back!!! Thank you!

Oh my, I just got home from spending 5 wonderful, relaxing days at this beautiful house. It is everything that is in the description and more. The house is perfect, everything you could ever need and want is there. The beach is literally out the door. The house is clean and very well kept and the ac was awesome. I was with 5 ladies, we had a girls trip and we had a blast. I am already looking at the calender for next year. I had the pleasure of meeting Frank the owner, what a nice man!! My deposit was already returned to me before I even got off the plane, unbelievable. You must rent this house!!

Wish I could move into this house

I was initially concerned about renting this house not because the pictures looked bad but because they looked "too good". How could this nice of a house right on the beach be so inexpensive? We took a chance and I am glad we did because this house was everything we were looking for and more. We stayed over memorial day weekend and the beach was packed but luckily the house was located in such a spot that everything to our right and left was full but where we were there was plenty of room. The view of the beach was even pretty then the pictures. The garage (which hold 2 cars) also opens onto the beach and has a BBQ so on memorial day as everyone was leaving to have their BBQ we were able to stay and enjoy the beach. The beds were very comfortable. We had a baby with us and were able to fit a pack-n-play into the master without any problem. No one had to sleep on the pull out coach but it looked comfortable. My only complaint was we didn't get to spend much time actually in the house, we were either on the beach, sitting on the porch or in Savannah. We stayed here for a family reunion and there was enough space that we didn't get on each other's nerves. Also the kitchen had everything we could want. If you are looking for a relaxing beach trip this place is for you.

Best Rental on Island!!!!

The pictures do not do this rental justice. Beautiful both inside and out, not to mention on a great island with plenty to do. The home is ideally located between south and north beach which we walked both directions each day. The dolphins playing yards from you while you walk, made the home that much more of a value. Picking a deck to relax over the ocean and watch the dolphins is your biggest stress of the week. The Crab Shack is a neat place to eat as well as The Pig and Shrimp which is only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but well worth the wait for best fried shrimp anywhere as well as brisket and ribs! We rent homes twice a year for the last seven years and this was as good as it gets. What a great place. We will be back!

Awesome Beach House - 7 Thumbs Up!

We spent the February 25th weekend at this wonderful beach house. Just a beautiful property with lots of room for our 7 family members. We did't even need to use the pull out couch. The decor of this place is amazing with it's wide pine plank flooring through out the house. The master bedroom shower is absolutely huge. Both nights we kept the balcony doors open and fell asleep listening to the sound of the ocean from the back yard of this property. When we stepped into the house upon my arrival I heard my wife say "Oh my what a beautiful place". After that I knew it was the right choice as she normally is very reserved. Anyone thinking of renting this place needs to get off the fence and just do it, you wont be disappointed. The owner was very nice and worked with me on just the couple of nights instead of a full week. Check the calendar as this is booked for a reason! Finally, the deposit was back in my account in less than 72 hours from the end of my stay.

Perfect Beachhouse

What a wonderful home. We visited during the winter and had the most relaxing time. The master bedroom has incredible views of the beach from two sides yet has nice dark blinds so you can sleep in. Everything we needed was right there!! My husband enjoyed watching the cargo ships come in to Savannah, and we both enjoyed watching the dolphins play. Great bed and bath linens, not like scratchy hotel linens at all. Great information on the area was in the house so we could pick from lots of takeout menus. I can't think of ANYTHING negative to say about this house. The owner was great to work with. There is NO reason not to book this house for your next Tybee vacation. Thanks!!!

The Perfect Beach House

As many of the previous tenants have commented, this house is absolutely gorgeous and convenient. It was meticulously clean when we arrived. It's bright, open, airy and in like new condition. The porches are amazing. You can either get full access to the sun on one side of the deck (important when you stay in the winter) or shade on the other side. We also watched and filmed the dolphins from the deck for over 1 hour on New Year's eve. What an amazing show they put on for us. The 3 bedrooms were great. We loved the extremely large shower in the master bath. The bunk beds were extremely sturdy and very well made. The mattresses were comfortable with lots of large pillows. The linens were extremely clean, soft and like new. The unit had basic necessities including trash bags, laundry detergent, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, oversized towels, extra blankets, etc. You couldn't ask for more from a beach house; we were very impressed. As for location, It was the most convenient beach access we've ever had. Just step right outside of the oversized 2-car garage and you're right on the very large, clean beach. Also, the house is 1.6 miles from the pier. This was our first visit to Tybee Island and we loved it; the house made it even better. We got lucky, thanks to all the previous reviewers, and probably picked the best beach-front house on Tybee. If you've never been to Tybee, choose this house - you'll be glad you did. Finally, the owner was great to work with. She was very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival and promptly returned our deposit after our stay.

My husband & I recently stayed here. What can i say - it is truly a great beach front home. We enjoyed watching the dolphins play each day- and this is the perfect location for watching the sun rise each morning!. Very convenient & beautiful relaxing place to stay! Security deposit was promptly returned. HIGHLY recommend this property!

My family had a wonderful time at Tybee and staying at this house made our time there more special than it would have been otherwise. I have gone to Tybee during the Spring with some girlfriends for the past four years. While we were there we would go for walks on the beach daily and as I walked by this house my eyes were always drawn to it and I would think "I would love to stay in that house". Just from the outside and the location it was my favorite on Tybee, seeing the inside and staying there I can absolutely say that this beach house is my idea of the ideal beach house!!!

Pictures of this this beach front home does not do it justice. The house is directly on the beach and also close to the Savannah river so you can also see the ships coming in and out of the harbor. We had a wonderful time and will be renting this great beach house in the future.

This was the perfect beach house. Our stay was in April of 2010.We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here. We invited another couple to come with us and they loved it too. Being able to walk directly onto the beach was great.The owners keep the home immaculate and everything was just as promised. We enjoyed many walks on the beach, and all the great restaurants in the area. Nice family getaway spot. Would love to stay here again

Wow! What an exquisite home! We enjoyed every family moment in this luxury home. All was quiet, clean and comfortable with beautiful decor and superior accommodations. All appliances and air conditioning worked extremely well. (Not all rentals provide great air conditioning in the summer.) Will definitely reserve this home again without hesitation. It surpassed our expectations.Our security deposit was also promptly returned. This rental is the best property on Tybee.

Caroline, we had a wonderful time at your beach house, which is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The view of the beach and ocean was great!!!! This was truly a beachfront property, stepping through your louvered doors, our feet were immediately in the sand and steps away, we were in the ocean. We are so glad we took our bicycles with us, we rode to south end or north end almost everyday and I can now say, I have seen the real Tybee!!!! I have gone back & forth to Tybee Beach all my life, but have never experienced just how nice it is, until I stayed at your home. Thank you for sharing. I have to say the only bad thing was having to leave. I would definitely stay at your house again and will recommend it to all my family and friends.

Your home is more beautiful in person. Looks as though it's been completely renovated and updated. Gorgeous decor and very clean. We loved being able to let the kids play on the beach while we relaxed on the balcony. Excellent location...not in the hustle and bustle of 'downtown' Tybee but within walking distance. I would recommend your home to any family.

This house is absolutely wonderful! The view from the balconies, bedrooms and living room area is spectacular. The house was very clean and the location was perfect. Just a short drive to Savannah's historic district and a brief walk to the Tybee Island Lighthouse. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay and enjoyed full view of sunrises from bed! The house is super clean & beautifully decorated. I could keep watch of my child on the beach from the deck! Would highly recommend and will be back as soon as I get the opportunity.
