We were at this wonderful home December 25th-31st. We had a great time. Everything was perfect including the weather. Very comfortable and being able to step onto the beach from the deck was a big plus. Great place to celebrate Christmas with family, friends, and dogs!

We stayed at Wave Watch for 6 nights. We were so happy to find such a beautiful home and beach where we could take our dog. The deck and view were awesome and the living room, kitchen and dining area was open to accomodate several people. The furniture and deocrations were very nice. Our son and wife and our daughter visited us and they loved the seclusion of the beach. Our son was catching fish right in front of the house and we saw dolphins swimming by a couple of times. The sunrises and sunsets were very beautiful. This was our first time on Ft. Morgan Road and we were impressed. We usually stay in Gulf Shores but they do not allow pets on the beach in Gulf Shores. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting piece and quiet and to anyone who had a pet. The owner was extremely easy to work with. Thank you!

LOVE this house! It was the perfect size and layout for our extended family - 7 adults, 3 children and a dog. Loved being right on the beach - no need to carry a lot to the beach as the house was so close. We did rent the shade and that was great also. If I ever have this large of a party going again I will definitely try to reserve Wave Watch. You just can't go wrong here - the house is clean and well furnished. I just can't say enough good things about it!

The house was perfect for our family and the easy access to the beach was such an added bonus. The home has everything a large family needs and made for a great vacation for us. We appreciated the kennel underneath the home so that our family dog could join us for vacation. We also appreciated all of Ruby's advice and helpfulness. We did take her advice and rented a sun shade on the beach, so that we could enjoy the entire day on the beach. We would definitely say this home is in a great location and was clean, cozy and welcoming. Absolutely lovely!!! Thanks Ruby for sharing your home with our family!

Our family vacation at Wave Watch June 4- 11 was an unqualified success for everyone. There are areas away from the water for small children to play with minimum supervision, the living space is large and seating (including napping spaces) was more than adaquate for our party of 10 plus some dropper-ins. The beds were great, the second refrigerator was put to good use, the deck is huge, and most important the house is ON the beach not near the beach. You will love this location if you enjoy being away from the condo crowds.

This is a lovely home with a lot of room and comfortable furniture. It is steps from the beach, and you can leave your unbrellas and chairs there your entire stay without worry. We never saw more that ten people on the beach at any one time during our stay - which we loved! It was nice to find such a clean, nicely decorated home that was pet friendly. The only problem we had was that our Navy son only got to spend two days with us, and we could not book another week because it was already rented!!! We are considering trying for two weeks in the winter. Loved it!!!

We stayed at this home for the week of Thanksgiving. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this home is. Let me try. It is on an excellent location of beach, far enough away from the hustle of Gulf Shores to enjoy the beach without the crowds yet close enough you can drive into town to eat out or have a few drinks. The home is nicely furnished with all the amenities one would expect from home. Wonderful TV for watching the games if you happen to be there during football season. The beds are comfy and there are plenty of dishes for a large family if you decide to cook yourself. We will definately be back next year. Thanks Ruby.

To put into words our wonderful time her would be a novel! My parents and I, and my husband and five young boys ages 9-10 months just got back from Wave Watch, and we had a blast. We loved the home. It was very comfy, had almost everything we wanted to cook with, and plenty of room for us all. The beds were so comfortable, we didn't want to get up, except that the beautiful view from the master bedroom kept calling me out to the private balcony as the sun rose in the morning. The house was right on the beach, and had a nice little area for the boys to play safely away from the water. Everything was just as it was pictured! The house was very clean, too. Ms. Ruby was very helpful with any questions I had, also. The house was definatley a place to come back to. I recommend crabbing, kite flying, and, and sitting on the deck at night with some coffee or hot chocolate. We ate at DeSotos Seafood Kitchen, and it was wonderful. The shrimp platter was worth the money. The kids meals were reasonable. Plan to stay a week, because once you walk into this house, you'll be at home, and you definatley won't want to leave. WE didn't! Already planning for next year!

My family and I stayed in this wonderful home last week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is very spacious and I love that 3 of the bedrooms have full bathrooms attached. The view from the house to the beach is outstanding as there are full windows all along that end of the house. The deck is also a great place to relax. It is huge and very easy to enjoy the beach and ocean from there. I also love the hammock under the house. We were so comfortable there and really able to relax and enjoy the beach and ocean. We were a little concerned about how the oil spill would effect us and we chose not to swim in the ocean. But the beach is very clean and crews came through and clean it every night. We sat down in the sand some and we spent time up on the deck. We were all very satisfied and that incudes our kids ages 3 to 7. I highly recommend this house this summer. It was well worth the trip!!

Our family and another family rented this house for spring break 2010. 4 adults and 5 kids aged 6-11. We had never rented a house in Gulf Shores area before and had no expectations. We were looking for a comfortable house and quiet beach. This house lived up to both. The house was clean and the pictures accurately show the layout. Ruby was a big help in planning our trip and the list she provides helped plan what to bring and what to leave home. We will be back!!

Being just 1 hour from Ft. Morgan we know this strip of land well. This beach house is absolutely delightful in every way. The distance to the water and the vacant lots on either side were a bonus! It's big, spacious, well laid out and user-friendly. Our family of 5, 2 adults & 3 kids, stayed there for a week and never tripped over each other. We also had several visitors, some for just the day and several for a night or 2, and the layout was perfect. Overall we had a great vacation and I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

This house is a great place to stay if you really want peace and quiet. We could set chairs, towels, sand toys, etc out and they were never bothered. The house can easily accomodate 10. Having the grill out under the house out of the sun is a big plus for us. You really won't go wrong by renting this house.

This was one of the most relaxing vacations my family and I have ever had. The beach house is beautiful and very comfortable. You even have a gulf view from the master bathroom tub. The owners are truly wonderful for sharing this great place with me, my family, friends and pets. The beach house has a great outside deck to just sit and relax. A perfect place to take pictures in the evening, watch the waves and even gaze at the stars at night. It is very nice having the beach only steps away from the house. I just spent last week at this fantastic beach home, along with my daughter and two grandchildren, ages 3 & 5. It is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. The home has been well taken care of and is one of the more modern ones in the Ft. Morgan area. Some of the features that we especially appreciated were the dolphins that absolutely came by everyday, the walkover to the beach, the deck if you didn't won't sand on you for the day, the vacant lots beside this home, the cleaniness of the beach, etc. To say I was impressed is to say the least. I have been going to the Destin area for 25 years and never thought I would be pleased to stay somewhere else. Only because another daughter chose to have her wedding at another beach house in Ft. Morgan, did I consent to go to there. I truly loved being away from all the commericalism, crowded beaches, traffic jams, etc. Oh yeah, I will definitely go back to this beach house.

Five girlfriends and I stayed here in May 2009. We have stayed in many vrbo homes before. This was the nicest one we've ever rented. There was a small problem with the plumbing and it was repaired on a weekend within hours of reporting the problem. We watched the dolphins every morning on the beach while drinking our coffee. The beach was clean and sparsely populated. That was so great! Our experience here was so relaxing and peaceful. We will most definitely try to rent this property again.

This was a great get away for 8 girl friends who live in different parts of MS. We had a blast, the new board walk helped with getting to the beach. We cooked, ate and played enitrely too much. The house is great, location couldn't have been better and Ruby is a dream to work with. Planning out 2010 trip as I write this.

We spent a month in this house and it was wonderful. Dolphins swim by everyday and you can spend hours on the deck without hearing ANY mechanical sounds. Incredible amount of privacy for a beachfront home. Strongly recommend.

This is a great beach house if you want to be away from the condos and crowds, have your own personal beach, and great views of the dolphins passing by in the mornings. The home is very comfortable, and the living area and bedrooms are great! If your coming in from the North or West, consider taking the ferry from Dauphin Island over to Fort Morgan. The house is just a few minutes away.
