Great Place for Family Vacation

This is an amazing house to stay in! Our family of 6, with 4 small children, were at home here. Jackie was very helpful and had so many little things ready for us, above and beyond where you would find elsewhere (cereals, a refrigerator stocked with items that we might have forgotten etc). We have stayed in several places in the Toronto area before and of them all, we'd come back here first. The playroom and bedrooms were great for the kids, and we were close to all the major attractions in the Toronto area. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the nearby park and playground were an added bonus!
Owner response:It's a great feeling to know that other families are treating the house as if it was their own. Our kids grew up in this house and it touches our heart that other kids are enjoying the playroom and the playground as much as we did. Jackie

Our family had the esteemed honour of sharing in my daughter's graduation from UofT last week. Since we were traveling as a family, we wanted to stay together and took a chance in renting Jackie's Vacation Home instead of investing in a stuffy, impersonal hotel environment. Well...now that we have returned, we can honestly say it was no risk AT ALL! We are all still talking about our time there! The area was perfect for us to be away from the city and take walks in the park yet near enough that we were able to do enjoy a bit of the hustle and bustle and be grateful that we could come right back to Markham! Everything you'd want is nearby and we LOVED being "home" - it was such a warm setting. There was enough space for all of us to be together and still not get in the way of anyone! Jackie was amazing and catered to us as needed without delay and the full container of brownies that she left for us upon our arrival were our evening treats for the entire stay! Yummy!:-) If you are visiting the Toronto area and want a GREAT place to vacation with your family...without hesitation - Jackie's Vacation Home should be your first choice! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Jackie made sure that we knew the area and made a fabulous recommendation for dinner - IL Postino - amazing food and 5 star service! Melanie and her staff are the best in the town! Make sure that a meal at this restaurant is on your itinerary! After nine years of High School and University in Toronto we are so sorry that we only JUST discovered this vacation home option for our family. Guaranteed...we will be back...and this is where we will stay! If you read this review and hesitate...you'll be lost :-) It's the best! THANK YOU JACKIE!

We stayed for a week and we would have been happy to move in! The house has all you need and the children (Aged 7 and 10) absolutely loved the downstairs playarea. We also couldn't get them off the tyre swing! The Unionville location was perfect for exploring all that Toronto has to offer. Unionville itself is a great wee town and we were lucky to be there during a Jazz festival so really enjoyed it. Jackie is a perfect host and it was good to know she was on hand if we needed her. I would strongly recomend staying at 3 Towne Court if you are planning a visit to Toronto.

We looked for relaxing week and location nearby Toronto to my 5 person family, and this Unioville house me all our expectations very well. We enjoyed nice and clean house and peaceful neighbourhood. Unionville mainstreet, bond and park are small but nice places to spend time. Own car is necessary and drive to Toronto central is 30+ min so take this in consideration if you're planning to spend lot of time in city, in that case perhaps not the best location. Owner Jackie was really helpful and everything from booking until depareture worked out very fluently.

The house is awesome - in fact we felt so much at home that we actually miss it already. This spacious family home is filled with excellent facilities and is very close to a gorgeous park and great shopping. The owners are most friendly and helpful. Property well-maintained and clean. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to all our friends and relatives.
Owner response:We couldn't have asked for better guests than Farrah and her family. They treated the house as if was their own and we were honoured that they used the property to host several wedding functions. We would love to welcome Farrah and her family back anytime.

Because this was a working holiday for us, we were stationed near Toronto for six weeks, but even if we had just wanted a place to stay for a few days while we checked out the Toronto area, or sit for a bit and just absorb some of the culture, Jackie and Peter's house would have been great. We had the whole house to ourselves and made ourselves completely at home. The house was well-maintained, had full and modern facilities, and the customer service was bar none. It had front and back yards for the kids to play in and was in a great cul-de-sac street. But it was also close to the Unionville sports' fields and only a short walk to the main street of historic Unionville, which was quaint and beautiful and made you feel very much like you had gone back in time. Loved, loved, loved going there for morning tea or lunch (so many places to choose from) after a long walk through the walking tracks and parks around the Unionville lake. Dinner was also a good choice! We were there for the Spring festival and walked around the street stalls, listened to live bands, watched boat and raft races, saw fireworks over the lake, and joined a street BBQ where we brought some extra ingredients to show our neighbours how we'd make an 'Aussie' burger (beetroot, caramelised onion etc)! We watched an open-air movie in the park another night and our boys played soccer with Jackie and Peter's kids and their friends, who are really great kids. We want to go back one day and I'd definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.

We found this property an excellent place to stay with our family of four. The house is spacious and has all amenities, including a play room in the basement and swings etc. outside. The location is safe and within easy (and pleasant) walking distance of the center of Unionville. In addition, we found the location located in a good central place to visit various places in the Toronto area. We would recommend this place to anyone.
