  Our family loved our stay at Surf Song. The location is stunning, right on the beautiful long Windermere beach. The house is very comfortable, well-maintained and well-appointed. We shared it with another family, and the two wings accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen has everything you need. The kids loved jumping in the pool after a day at the beach and well all enjoyed the front deck overlooking the beach. Highly recommended!

  I wanted a great place to stay while bone fishing on Eleuthera.Pretty amazing place. The beach is about the best I've seen. Wide with powder sand. The ocean was calm and great for swimming. The pool was also a treat.The description was accurate :roomy house with fully equipped kitchen, large open center room with great views and a large deck joining the room to relax on. I particularly liked the separate bedroom wings for privacy. Each had its own bathroom. Place was immaculate as a woman swept and cleaned for us. We arranged a guide for great bone fishing, traveled to a couple of towns, had dinner at a couple of restaurants. Nearby town, Governors Harbour, has a neat nature preserve. Overall, the place is a roomy, relaxed but nicely appointed house on an amazing beach in an area with places to go and see. Definitely recommend to family or friends.

  This was our 5th trip to Eleuthera but 1st time on Windermere. We chose SurfSong because of its close proximity to the beach and the spectacular reef. The property listing, pictures and amenities described on the web site do not begin to capture the magnificence that is SurfSong. The real treasure is Winnie - to call her a housekeeper would be an injustice. She treated us like family but also took time to take care of the daily tasks around the house. Despite the blissful solitude on Windermere we found time to get our daily dose of tennis and visit some of the local restaurants and bars. But the reason to come to Windermere is the reef. Cousteau had it right when describing it as top notch. I saw many turtles and colorful fish - but the two huge lobsters (15 plus pounds) and very large reef shark just north of the rocks made the trip my personal favorite. The local folks on Eleuthera are another big reason our group comes back every year. We feel at home here and we feel fortunate to be able to share the magic that is Windermere.
