What can I say....we will definitely be back. The condo is incredible with all the comforts of home. Loved the sound of the ocean waves. The green space is superb. Loved every minute....can't wait to come back.

The unit was in excellent condition, CLEAN, comfortable, and well stocked. The pictures were very accurate, and that made us feel like we got what we had ordered. The owner was honest and very easy to deal with . . . . . . to include a personal trip to the unit to help us with the internet connection. We love the views, location (can walk everywhere), beaches and friendly people. Enjoy relaxing on lanai and watching gorgeous sunsets and sometimes - if we are lucky - whales, turtles, dolphins. Don't forget to try the shaved ice. Can't wait to go back.

Great oceanfront condo!

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous week here! It is a great location for snorkelers as the reef out front is very good and you are just a few minutes drive to the great Wailea beaches. The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking meals. The condo was very quiet and it was all very tastefully decorated. The pool seemed great for kids as well and was not overly chlorinated. Keawakapu beach is an excellent family beach! We also enjoyed Mokapu and Palauea beaches just down the road. Palauea snorkeling was almost as good as the snorkeling at Cook's Monument on the big island. A wise choice for those looking to get the most out of their vacation.

A very well appointed one bedroom condo surrounded by great beaches. A freshly renovated kitchen with excellent cutlery and cookware, abundant spice selection, upscale bed linens combined with free Wi-Fi and long distance telephone made our stay comfortable and relaxing. With the owner living on the island any problems, should they arise, can be quickly dealt with promptly. We will book again.

Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo is wonderful. The owners have done a great job with special touches that make you right at home with the bonus of a beautiful view of the ocean right out several windows. They are perfect to work with and one can tell they really care to make your visit as perfect as it could possibly be. We have stayed at many Kiehi properties and this is new on our favorite list for sure! We will be back...

Our stay at 405 Kihea Surfside was wonderful. The condo is centrally located on the island so it's very convenient. It's about a 30-45 min drive to just about anywhere, and we went everywhere! Plus it has many shops and restaurants nearby so you don't have to go far to get your provisions if you want to cook/eat at the condo or dine at any of the local restaurants. The condo is beautifully decorated, very clean and well maintained, updated, and the location on the 4th floor made it quieter and more cozy. It has a gorgeous view off the lanai of the ocean and the other side of the island and is minutes away from many of the best beaches on the island, either by walking or by car. Cara and Sig have thought of everything you need for the comforts of home, including beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling gear, coolers (we got a lot of use from them!) and the kitchen is very nicely stocked with every utensil, appliance, including containers and bowls you could think of to make it easy and convenient to cook if you so choose.Plus there are outdoor grills on the grounds if you want to take advantage of them, which many people did. The king size bed was very comfortable and the one and half baths came in handy! It felt like home for the 2 weeks we were there. Waking up to the birds chattering and the sound of the ocean waves in the background and the fragrant smell of the flowers in the air was heaven. The feeling of Aloha was very evident in the atmosphere of the Surfside...everyone was so friendly and helpful. It amazed me also that Cara was so prompt with responses to our emails; always very friendly and accommodating. Maui is so beautiful...like paradise, except its real. We can't wait to go back!

Cara & Sig have a wonderful condo, I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Excellent location and so close to the beach without the high beachfront price! Amenties were excellent and the welcome gift was such a nice surprise! Husband loved the book selection in the condo as well, it is the little extras that make a vacation special, and Cara & Sig really know how to make people feel welcome! Wonderful place to stay

This well-equipped and beautifully furnished condo was perfect for our week in Maui. It has all the appliances and cooking equipment you need and is clean and well maintained. The large lawn, pool, barbeques, and adjacent walking trail add to the appeal. The owner, who lives in Maui, was very helpful and responsive. We loved our stay here and having looked at other properties think this is one of the best. The view is to the northwest along the coast and is gorgeous. To the southwest behind the condo is one of the nicest beaches in Kehei and good for swimming and snorkeling. The condo is located just at the south end of Kehei, so you can go north to the shops and stores and busy area, or go south to the more exclusive and quiet areas and beaches of Wailea and Makena.

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently stayed in this condo, and absolutely loved it. The condo is very well equipped, making it a home away from home, which a much nicer view (wonderful ocean view!). It is in a great part of town, just minutes away from restaurants, multiple beaches (if the one beside the property isn't enough), and right along a beachfront path for leisure strolls or a good work-out. We will definately be back!

Clean and well cared for condo - all in all a lovely apartment stocked with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic vacation. Location was perfect for relaxing with fabulous views of the ocean and a nice beach close by. Owners were very responsive and helpful. Check in was very straightforward. Deposit was returned very quickly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Thank you for having such a home-like place for us to enjoy our Maui visit... your well-stocked kitchen is delightful! We loved being so close to the snorkel spot and beach... hearing the surf sounds was very soothing. We hope to return next year. Your bird book and fish book were helpful. Our stay in 405 has been so nice. Fantastic views! We appreciated all the extras. And we met so many return visitors who stay here year after year. All have their favorite units. We have found ours. After 2 weeks we should be all rested but it seems we played too hard again and must go home to relax. Hmm. Thanks for sharing your wonderful Maui home!

Thanks for a wonderful stay in your unit. As always we appreciated the extra amenities. The beach chairs are perfect. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed the bbq grills. Good lunch at Cafe o Lei and Ganon's. Great dinner next door at 5 Palms. Until next time, Aloha!

Today is our last day on Maui and in your wonderful unit 405. We have had a great time here and hope to be back next year. Had fun watching the whales from the lanai; they were very close. We also love all the up grades this year. Thank you for all the great seasonings. We really enjoyed them. We think the key code box is a wonderful idea. We had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed your beautiful condo immensely. We have stayed in many units at the Kihei Surfside, but your place was the best. It was nice to have a large flat screen TV and blu-ray dvd player. We sure appreciated having the kitchen stocked with all the supplies we needed and the Maikai card on the key ring. Also having the security of the 3rd key in the lock box near the front door. You thought of everything. The weather was wonderful, and we saw many whales, sea turtles, and some dolphins during our visit. Thank you so much for the lovely stay in your condo. We hope to stay here again next year.

Tonight is our last eveing in your magnificent unit 405. WE have enmjoyed every moment. We love the beautiful new couch and frabric cushions on the rattan chairs. We are amazed by the new credenza ande big flat screen TV and Blu-Ray. We did so many activities this trip. We saw manata ray in front of the Mana Kai along with 7 turtles, many eels, a cowry shell, angel fish and octopus; all so close to the Surfside. Thank you so much.

We are already in withdrawal from Kihei Surfside unit 405. Wow! What a fabulous space you have created from which to enjoy paradise. We found you on the internet and are so glad we did; photos and words do not capture all this incredible beauty, comfort and commaradarie and all around great experience. We have loved be3ing here. We hope to be able to return to your incredibly wonderful condo. Sunset with conch shell blowing is a life experience we will always treasure. There is just so much great energy here.

We stayed in your condo last week to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Your condo added greatly to our experience on Maui...so much so that we are already coniving a way to get back in a year or so. We had a wonderful time! The view is breathtaking and this resort is so quiet with a nice family atmosphere. One of our favorite days was an Upcountry trip...breakfast at Kula Lodge, visit to the Lavendar Farm, visit to the winery and then an early dinner at Mama's Fish House. Thank you for renting to us.

We have had a lovely stay in 405 and have wanted for nothing. You have supplied your home away from home with everything guests would need. I fell in love with the watercolor paintings in the bedroom which were done by your friend; just lovely. We have been coming to Maui for many years, but went Upcountry to the winery for the first time this visit as well as Makawao. What a great day that was. Thank you for renting your condo to us. It is beyond wonderful.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to rent #405 again this year. A romantic get-away from Minnesota cold was perfect. We love your unit and it's perfection. Your new stove with the glass top is lovely and so are the wonderful pots and pans. You are so well equipped, and we love every second of the ocean, the whales breeching out front and the sunsets on the lawn. We gave both conch shells a workout as we joined in the daily sunset activities. Each year we find our friendships grow stronger; it is hard to leave, but exciting to think of our return next year. A wonderful condo in a fabulous location. Newly upgraded with a fully-equiped kitchen. A most comfortable king bed. We first rented for the month of January 08 and are returning in January 09. Cynthia, owner, is a pleasure to deal with.
