Great Hawaiian Holiday

We rented the main house and guest house for 7 adults and we had a great holiday. The house is absolute beachfront and once inside all you see and hear is the ocean. The deck is perfect for relaxing and eating meals. William, the owner is a delight to deal with and booking the property was an easy process. All emails were answered quickly and courteously. Directions and access information for the property was well set out. The houses are well maintained, clean and the kitchen is well stocked and all appliances are modern. Supermarket & Starbucks about 5 mins drive down the road. We snorkelled at Shark Cove, swam with the turtles at Laniakea Beach, and a couple of us learned to surf with Buttons at Chun's Reef. Heaps to see and do on the North Shore. Haliewa (10 mins) is great place to explore. Loved the house and position and will definitely be back.

This property is exactly what is listed, no surprises. This is my first time renting by owner and I will never stay in a hotel or resort again! Wonderful property, breathtaking view, private beach and amazing sounds! I can't believe the sound of crashing waves in July, best sleep ever. All you have to do is barely sit up in bed to check the water each morning. If you don't know the North Shore you need to experience it. Just make sure you respect the area and your neighbors and you will feel like a local. If you want to sit on your deck or the beach and watch surfers, paddleboarders and swimmers this the place for you. Very mellow, very private and very beautiful. Amazing vacation for the whole family.

Stayed here in March with my wife and kids....the property is absolutely brilliant! Owner is very easy to deal with and the rental is priced right. Loacation, location, location! There is nothing not to like....you won't be dissapointed.

We have rented 6 different beachfront houses on Sunset Beach ranging from $2000-$7500 per week, and this house is the best! This is the perfect location with unobstructed views from Pipeline to Sunset Point! It's walking distance to Ted's where you can eat for $8 a meal (really 2 meals in one), or you can walk the other way to Foodland and grill your own fresh seafood on this wonderful beach deck. The home is shielded from the highway so the only thing you hear are the crashing waves! There is gated parking with plenty of room for multiple vehicles. We rented the front and back units for 5 people and there was plenty of room for a few more people to stay comfortably. The beach in front was also larger, flatter, and cleaner than others we've seen. The house was very modern and open with great decor. The owner was also a delight to work with while booking the home. He was prompt, informative, and courteous, and then he was hands-off during our stay. However, there is a caretaker nearby if you have any questions or concerns, which was nice. The home was truly "ours" during our stay which was very welcoming. What a pleasant trip! We look forward to staying here again in the near future! I've paid my dues on the North Shore and most all of the beachfront homes are great. This one is excellent! Book it!

We just returned from a five-day stay at this Sunset home and it exceeded our expectations. The three travelers in our party had plenty of space with two in the front house and one in the guest cottage. We enjoyed coffee on the lanai every morning and the view was spectacular. The homes in this neighborhood are very close together but it was very quiet and we heard nothing but the waves crashing and constant seabreeze. The caretaker was kind enough to stop by to ensure everything was to our liking and offer tips on local places to check out. The home had everything we needed including plenty of bath and beach towels, a well-equipped kitchen and everything was very clean when we arrived. For anyone looking for a quiet Oahu stay away from the crowds of Honolulu, this is your place. Haleiwa (only 10 minutes down the road) had everything we were looking for including great restaurants, dive/surf shops for rentals, drug store, grocery, etc. Famous Ted's Bakery is only a 5-10 minute walk up the road and Honolulu is an easy day trip. We enjoyed great snorkeling right out the back door with plenty of reef to explore along the beach. The hot/cold outdoor shower (and footwash on the dune overpass) is perfect after swimming or snorkeling. I hope to return to north shore soon and would definitely stay at this home again!

The location was perfect. The views were unbelievable. We had to blink to make sure they were real. We had kids with us and they had a blast. The care taker at the time was the best and provided customer service that could not be beaten. We would recommend this property to anyone who likes the North Shore. We could relax when we wanted and we could shop when we wanted and we could play to our hearts content. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.!!

I would thoroughly recommend this location for anyone looking for a relaxing spot for a vacation in Oahu, HI. So many highlights, including: - location second to none. The photos do not lie, it's right on the beach! - beautifully outfitted house - all the conveniences you'd expect (including good kitchen, phone, cable, WiFi) - kid friendly (we stayed there with a 2, 5, and 7 year old - close to well stocked supermarket and many sights (surf beaches, Haleiwa, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay) - hassle free reservation process, directions, and access to the house - warm hospitality and help from the caretaker We want to get back to Oahu, and would love to stay there again!

This was our first time staying on the north shore, we had taken day trips in the past but thought it would be nice to take it all in by renting a house. I contacted the owner William and he was very helpful and had lots of useful information that helped me plan our stay. I have a large family with four children 8, 6, 3, and 1. So any additional help is much appreciated. I really could not say enough about our stay, the house was perfect for our family. It was clean, perfectly located (right on the beach), and most importantly we all felt very at home. We spent most of our days watching the surf and playing in the ocean. The local food mart is right up the street and we cooked about half our meals at the house. When we wanted to eat out, we drove just up the road (5 min) to the shark shack for some fish tacos which were very resonably priced. I would recommend this house to anyone, and we are planning on returning annually.

The house was just breath taking, it was even more than we had expected. We arrived to a beautiful clean house and felt at home as soon as we walked in. The house had all the amenities we could have needed. We had been in Waikiki for a week before and were so happy to be somewhere we could truly relax and cook a meal for ourselves. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for letting us stay at this magical place.

Our family of six had the pleasure of spending 5 nights at the Sunset Beach Oasis house in Jan 2010 and everybody just loved the experience. With world famous Sunset beach at the door, (you can do a surf check by rolling your head in the master bedroom thanks to the window that spies right on to the main reef break of Sunset) the sound of the crushing swells in the middle of winter is something that can only be experienced. An ideal way to experience the real Hawaii away from the tourist hustle and bustle of Honolulu, which is really only a short drive when the family are keen for some entertaiment or more gentle swells of the south shore. All the amenities are great and the gated property is very private, would recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect getaway on the North Shore of Hawaii.

Our family stayed at this property in July of 2006 and had a blast! We used both houses for the 8 of us and it was plenty of space. I loved how the home was gated and very private. Everyday we snorkled and swam just right out of our back door! We saw giant green sea turtles and even swam with them. I especially loved the hot and cold shower outside so we didn't track sand into the house. The owners had boogie boards available for us to use and even an outside grill. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough cookware and dishes for all of us. The house was located in a perfect spot for us as we didn't want to spend a lot of time in Honolulu but enjoyed the North Shore to the fullest. This was the best house for the BEST vacation.
