The apartment is in the heart of Avignon, in a quiet green corner behind a large green iron gate, only a few minutes walk from the Palais des Papes. This glorious palace, the numerous old churches and chapels, the monumental outlines of the ramparts: its cultural heritage is extraordinary, with 147 edifices that are listed or classified as historical monuments.
Local cultural activities are based on a wide variety of museums, as well as the world's largest theater festival. For all these reasons Avignon was named the European City of Culture in 2000. Let's not forget the Pont de Benezet (pont d'Avignon), the cozy bistros, renowned restaurants, theaters, opera and concert halls which make your stay so special.
Our apartment is on the ground floor with a small terrace (facing south) looking out on the patio garden. The building is an old hospital completely renovated and converted into stylish apartments
