We rented this unit to celebrate our parent's 50th Anniversary and we had a wonderful stay. The unit was extremely clean and had plenty of room for all of us. Having a bathroom in every bedroom was terrific, no waiting every morning. I would definately recommend this rental! The only draw back was the parking. If you have more than a couple of cars it is a little tough finding a place for them.

We had a fantastic stay in your beautiful Monterey Lane home last week. We had spent the previous four summers at the Sea Horse resort, and your accommodations were far superior in beauty, cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort. We hope to return again next summer when we come to California to visit my family. Everything about the home was perfect for our family of 6.

Perfect Family Getaway!

We just spent a wonderful week in San Clemente with our extended family - kids and grandkids. This is the ideal location for visiting So Cal in a more relaxed fashion. Close enough for Disneyland, San Diego and the tourist stuff but far away enough to really relax. The Den Delks were wonderful. We had some complications with a death in the family and they worked wonderfully with us to acccomodate some last minute changes in our schedule. Can't say enough about the Condo. Plenty of room for everyone. And plenty of bathrooms for the kids! Beautiful views of the ocean and Pier to wake up to each morning. Everything was provided and all we needed was to buy groceries. Beach toys for the kids and parking for two cars. Everything was first class. We have already recommended this to friends and are planning on coming back in the future. There are also some smaller units that my wife and I are considering for a quick getaway. We have been coming to the Capistrano/San Clemente area for years and this was our most enjoyable stay. Thanks again for making this a trip to remember! It made Dad look like a hero for finding the perfect location.

Perfect place for my family birthday celebration!

When they said there was a view from every room that was just the begining of our perfect place in San Clemente for my birthday. We wanted to include our teenagers and have enough room for everyone. We all had our own bathrooms and the bedrooms were on 2 floors. Huge patios on both floors so we never felt crowded. Walked down the street and had my birthday dinner at the Fishermans on the pier, great food, fantastic view of the beach. Went to little cafe the next day for breakfast across from the beach, also good. We did use the kitchen after my birthday and it had everything we needed and the dinning room also fit everyone nicely. Beautifully decorated and fantastic views, really want to come back for a week this summer.

Vacation in California

We are from the east coast, so we had to rely on the internet to choose a vacation place for 5 adults and 2 children. San Clemente is conviently located between San Diego and Los Angeles, places we were to visit most. We stayed for one week and we had a very good time. The descriptions and pictures were true. The house is a short walk to the pier and beach. Also, the farmer's market on Sunday gets a thumbs up. The house was very clean when we checked in. The view of the ocean is great. The beds were very comfortable and the pull out couch was like a real bed and not squeaky or lumpy. We used the grill which was easy to use. We liked that we didn't have to lug the garbage cans to and from the street. The houses are tightly packed in this area, so do not expect a lot of outdoor play around the house. The minivan did not fit in the garage, which was OK. The street is a one-way and had hardly any traffic. The owners were very helpful in answering questions before the stay. The town is very nice and has a Spanish style. We are hardly in this part of the country, but we are very glad we chose this place.

Amazing place! I came across this listing in January '10 and was taken by the photos. The only thing to say is that as good as the photos are, they don't do the place justice. We were in SC for my daughters wedding and my parents and adult son joined us at the residence. We all had more than enough room to make us comfortable. We stayed for two weeks and felt at home the entire time. Every imaginable detail has been taken care of. The kitchen had everything needed for meal prep, the bedrooms were wonderful with linens that I wanted to take home. It was an absolutely wonderful stay. My daughter and her bridesmaids (7) were all able to get ready without being crowded for space. The views are great, to sit out on the lower balcony and have b-fast (or lunch/ dinner) was fantastic. One morning while eating I looked up to see dolphins out in the ocean, my wife came downstairs from the 2nd floor balcony to announce that she had just been watching them as well. What a way to start the day! And watching the sun set from the same balconies was a perfect way to end. All in all a wonderful place made all the better by some wonderful folks; the den Delks. Thanks!

What a Find!!

Can't say enough about this wonderful condo. We had anywhere from 4 - 6 girls staying and there was plenty of room. We loved the three bedroom three bath - looked like the unit had been redone just recently. Flat screen tv's in each bedroom and the living room. Fabulous bedding, comfortable beds, a lot of closet room also. Bathrooms were roomy, looked like all new appliances in the kitchen, fresh paint, and a great little balconey where we sat, had coffee and looked at the ocean. Every convenience of home - we loved it and hope to make it back again next year. You won't be disappointed and it is in a great location!!

We just finished a 3-month stay at this 3 bedroom unit. It was much closer to the water than we originally thought. You need to walk down the street, to the beach. The owners were great and accomodated us, whenever we asked for something. The beds were terrific. The linens, on the beds were excellent quality, and plenty of towels. We really enjoyed being able to see Catalina island at sunset outside, on the deck and from the living room. The shared sunroom upstairs,with deck, separates the two bedrooms, giving our guests additional privacy (buffer zone). All of the bedrooms had doors to the hall, which made each bedroom and bathroom a "suite". This was well thought out by the owners and our guests appreciated being able to get up in the night and not having anyone see them from the hall, while they went to their private bathroom, or shower. There was plenty of storage space and each bedroom had its own flat screen TV. The living room had a large flat screen TV, with a deep sofa and comfortable chairs. The dining room is just off of the living room with a table that accomodates 8 people. The deck off of the living room was plenty large and lots of chairs and tables. We would have eaten out there, but we were there Jan-March. Mostly in the 60's this year. The Farmer's market (Sunday morning) is within walking distance (it's downtown). Try the fruit nut bread, from the bakery guy-it's great. We were able to get fresh flowers and vegetables every week. There is a great wide hard-packed beach path that is flat and you can walk by the ocean, without having to walk on soft sand.(very popular) Because this is San Clemente, there are train tracks running along the ocean. They do blow their whistles (by law) The sound is buffered where we were, but you can still hear them. We enjoyed them. There is a public pool (Ole Hansen) at the end of the north beach walk. They have two heated pools. One for adult lap swimming and one for pool walking. 3' deep-great exercise. We did everything. I would highly recommend this place for your vacation. Don't miss a sunset dinner at the Fisherman's restaurant, on the pier. Great sunset specials 4-6PM

We rented this unit for the month of July in 2008 and could not have been more pleased with the location, the quality, and the delightful homeowners! They could not help but make it the best it could be! Everything had been renovated and made new and all amenities had been thought of. We were more than pleased and can't wait to rent again from the Den Dulks!
