Come to the mountains and soak in magical hot springs mineral waters along the rustling waters of Chalk Creek. The property has wonderful mountain views and secluded privacy for your full isolation.
Enjoy the soaking Pool which is fed by an artesian geothermal spring with temperatures ranging up to 105 degrees mineral water (you can manually regulate the temperature). Up to eight people can relax in this secluded, private outdoor setting in our hillside therapeutic mineral Pool. At night, the stars come alive.
The 2500 sq ft house is a three bedroom, two bath fully furnished home with additional beds in the finished basement. Two rooms have king size beds with down comforters and the third bedroom has two twins. In the large family room area, there is a TV with a DVD player and a variety selection of DVDs (Sorry, no TV channels).

Why the Owner Chose Buena Vista
My wife and I always wanted a property near Mt. Princeton with geothermal hot water. We were blessed with this house which was located on Chalk Creek and had a geothermal spring that produces geothermal water at six gallons per minute. That's over 300 gallons an hour and over 4000 gallons a day of mineral enriched hot therapeutic soaking water.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Soaking in hot water wataching the cosmos. Other activities are endless, such as hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, rafting, rock hounding, horse back riding, mountaineering, and on and on and on. All those who wander are not always lost.
This wonderful cabin located on Chalk Creek, Colorado has a natural geothermal hot spring for soaking that is perfect for any outdoor lover. Endless outddor opportunities for mountain enjoyment. Hiking, biking, fishing, rafting near Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort.

I moved to Chaffee County, Colorado in 1985 to work and play in the mountains. I worked at Monarch Ski Area as the Director of Snowcat Tours. I also started and owned a rafting photography business, Sunshine Studio, on the Arkansas River. The area has endless opportunities for outdoor recreation.

It was wonderful-Blissful hot water! The Chalk Cliffs really glow at sunrise. House was clean, comfortable and quiet, it got my granddaughter's stamp of approval "this is cool, grandma!" Would rent this one again.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We stayed here for a weekend with 4 friends, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The house was immaculate and well equipped, and the setting was beautiful. The hot tub was amazing! I am already trying to figure out when I can go back!

This was the perfect place for a girlfriends 60th birthday celebration. Our original plans were to spend time at Mt. Princeton in the pool, but there was absolutely no reason to go there with the absolutely perfect pool at the house which was located right next to the stream and the stars were absolutely amazing at night. The house itself was immaculate, and my one friend could not get over how amazingly comfortable the beds were.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

We had a wonderful weekend at the beautiful mountain cabin. Amazing views, wildlife and activities kept us busy. There are no words to explain the pool at night under the stars. We hope to visit again, and make this our getaway for many years to come.
