What a find! We searched and searched hotels & apartments and were so excited when we found this apartment! It was in the location we were hoping for and everything! All the reviews were accurate, as well as the photos. This is perfect for a couple. The place is clean, nicely furnished and has a great modern bathroom. There are travel guides and a book of restaurant recommendations, however the travel books are a little dated. We walked everywhere and cute bistros, wine bars, bakeries and tiny store. Cecile was easy to work with although we never met her, directions and check in/ out a breeze. I would go back in a heart beat!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

After a two week stay we can only say that this is a great apartment with all the amenities, in a perfect location to experience the best of Paris. We found the Parisians to be very friendly, courteous and helpful. Cecile was absolutely prompt in answering our few questions and even had the apartment cleaned for us halfway through our stay. Cecile is THE person to rent from if you are staying in Paris.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We stayed here for 3 nights in January and were so happy with the apartment. It was exactly as shown on the website - beautifully furnished, with charming features and modern appliances. Cecile was a pleasure to deal with, and the apartment is just a short stroll from the Odeon tube and very easy to find. The neighbourhood itself is full of wonderful little boutiques, wine bars and restaurants, and felt like a real piece of Paris far removed from the more touristy areas. We were very sorry to leave and would definitely return!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The apartment is amazing as you can see from the picture and description, but the experience and service were even better. The area around the apartment is by far the best in Paris. It is extremely safe, quiet, and conveniently located a short metro ride to every popular area in the city. We constantly found ourselves returning early from day long excursions elsewhere to spend time walking the streets near the apartment. There are countless great markets, shops, and restaurants all a short walk from the front door of the apartment. Cecille is incredibly easy to work with and has done all of the work for you so you do not have to worry about the little things when you arrive.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This is the second time in 2 years we have stayed at this beautiful apartment in St. Germain and it is absolutely lovely. The location is perfect (close to many shops, restaurants, Metro, etc.). The photos are exactly as posted and it is extremely well equipped and clean. The owner was very helpful and the booking process and checking in and out was very easy. A few outstanding restaurants within walking distance are: L'epigramme, Le Timbre and Fish La Boissonnerie Bistro. Two fun neighbourhood bars - le Schmuck and Playtime Cocktail Bar. The neighbourhood is vibrant, safe and easy to walk around. We would most definitely recommend this apartment as well as stay here again ourselves.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I recently returned from our first week-long visit to Paris. I found this lovely apartment online and hoped that the reviews were accurate, because they were glowing. Fortunately, they were! First of all, the manager was both professional and quick to respond to any of our emails. She went out of her way to answer any questions I had, and made allowances for a slightly early check-in and late check-out, depending on whether the apartment was rented before or afterwards. She also sent all the information we needed to check in prior to our arrival. We arrived early on our first day and were greeted by the woman who cleans the apartment. We left our bags with her while we headed out to sightsee and give her a chance to finish cleaning. She was most charming and spoke excellent English. Although the apartment is on the 4th floor and has slightly lower ceilings than we're used to, neither bothered us a bit. In fact, this just added to the charm. The kitchen was well equipped, and although we didn't cook a proper meal, we noted that you easily could. There were items like coffee and sugar and some spices, etc. But, you will need to purchase extra toilet paper and soap, depending on your length of stay. We loved having access to a washing machine and dryer! Be sure to read the instructions and follow carefully. Closing the washer door was a bit tricky. The living area was quite comfortable and a nice place to sit and catch up on the news in the morning or even watch a latenight show. The free internet is wonderful and allowed us to call our kids via Skype and catch up on emails. The bedroom is a nice size, with a very comfortable bed. There is a sizable closet and nice shelving space. Being a corner unit, there are quite a few windows and a lot of light. The bathroom is nicely updated, but a bit on the small size for us. The shower is especially tiny, but certainly managable. I appreciated that a hair dryer was available under the sink. The location of the apartment is fantastic, with restaurants, shops, and the Jardin de Luxumberg right down the street. There are several nearby metro stops, but we never used them. We walked our way around Paris and found that to be our favorite way to discover this beautiful city. I'd highly recommend this apartment, or frankly, any of this group, if they are up to the same standards. I would certainly book this one again should we return. Fingers crossed!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just arrived back from a wonderful week in Paris at the St Germain apartment. My 2 adults sons and I like the accessibility to the city, as we were able to walk to main tourist areas within 10 - 15 minutes. I am glad someone had previously mentioned the 88 steps to the apt, so I was prepared for the "exercise" The apartment was cozy and a cross between modern and rustic looking. We loved the ambiance of the apartment and have already recommended to others thinking of travelling to Paris. It is close to the subway for longer treks out to other tourist areas. We did use Cecile's recommendation of a driver who could speak english, to take us to the airport Friday morning. Thank you for the wonderful experience!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The Apartment Luxembourg in St Germain is in a wonderful Paris neighbourhood and a location that is easy walking distance to many attractions including Luxembourg Gardens (don't miss this on a Sunday), Musee D'Orsay, Musee Orangerie, The Rodin and too many more to name. Cecile was excellent to deal with, both before and during our stay...when we had a minor challenge at the beginning of our stay she was very responsive. The apartment is as adverttised and meets all one's needs...it is clean, the bed is comfortable, with good quality linens, kitchen has all one could need during their stay, and the living room is a good place to read or relax in the evening. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment or any of Cecile's properties (which we suspect would be of similar quality) and on our next trip to Paris we will certainly be staying in one of Cecile's apartments. There are 88 steps up to the apartment...so anyone with any mobility issues would find this a challenge.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.

In a nutshell, look no further! Cécile's apartment in St. Germain Des Prés is a simple gem and I am not using the word lightly. Maybe because we are a French-American family, and I grew up around Paris, we tend to be picky about our accommodations when in the city. Our sons LOVE Paris and in the past we have always stayed at various hotels. This year, we wanted to experience life in Paris, almost like a local. When searching for apartments to rent, we found a multitude of possibilities BUT the question was who to trust. As our cousin had rented one of Cécile's flats a few years ago, we decided to go with her suggestions as she, herself, had been delighted. If you are reading this review, let me tell you that you can rent this place without any hesitations. As a matter of fact, we were so enchanted with not only the apartment itself but also with Cécile's customer service, that we are planning on going back to Paris in the Fall sometime and, of course, we'll only sojourn in one of Cécile's place. What you see on the website is what you get. A fully loaded, very quaint, luxurious place to call home when you are in the magic of Paris. Lastly, if you are like me, I love my fresh French bread in the morning with my coffee. That was easy: there is a wonderful boulangerie, pâtisserie across the street. As the coffee brewed, my wonderful husband would cross the street and delight us with a fresh out-of-the-oven baguette and some croissant. What more do you want?Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 6:
The St Germain - Odéon area is one of my favorite part of our beautiful city and the most desirable one for Parisian people, on the 'Rive Gauche'. It's so lively. There are plenty of nice cafés and restaurants, and so many beautiful art galleries. Shopping is great here. It's so close to every thing that you want to see or visit when you're in Paris. I believe location is the most important when you choose a vacation rental, and you won't be disappointed!
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
This apartment has Parisian old buildings' charm thanks to its exposed beams. It's spacious and bright, and most of all, it's air conditioned.
The famous Marché St Germain is two blocks from the apartment, The beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg is at the end of the street...
