Top notch and personal customer service. The house was much more than the pictures imply. A giant stone fireplace which warms the whole house thoroughly. Bose sound system for musical enjoyment. Slept ten comfortably. Pool table in basement, close proximity to ski area. And even a washer/dryer! All in all I could not have hoped to find a better rental for a group of ten, we were all thrilled with the house and with the price. I would recommend this rental to anyone, and I mean that sincerely. Enjoy your four seasons adventures at MTN House!!!! -John M.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I would absolutely recommend a vacation at the Mountain House! My family and I have vacationed there a couple times now and I have to say that the rental was truly a "home" for us. Yes, the beds were hospital made, and the place was immaculate, but we could probably have found this at other rentals on Sunday River. What truly separated the Mountain House from any other was the warm sense of home we have felt upon each stay. This home is furnished but not too much, with plenty of storage for our gear and stuff. The property manager (can't quite remember his name) has been totally professional, but yet attune to our specific needs and very flexible. The fireplace is stunning, and the views of the trails a real treat (especially when the groomers are going). We even caught a fireworks show the last time we were there. I also enjoyed the radiant heated floors on my ski-frozen toes. Over all we would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a fabulous Sunday River get-away without the cold, "rental" feel of some places (and for a lot less money too!) Two thumbs up!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.
