This is a brand new custom built home directly across the street from beach access. Our 3600+ square foot three story house has all the furnishings you will need to enjoy a week away from it all. The high lot and elevated construction allow for wonderful beach and surf views from each floor of the house. With five additional porches located throughout the house totaling almost 1500 additional square feet, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor gathering places. Located only three blocks from downtown Folly Beach, this allows for walking into town for entertainment however located just far enough away to escape most foot traffic.
The first floor contains a majority of the entertainment space including a custom kitchen with all state of the art appliances, a large open floor plan with an open dining room and family room area and a large flatscreen HD TV. There is a half bath located just off the kitchen/dining room. The large front porch allows for plenty of room to entertain, people watch and relax. Rocking chairs included too!
Also on the side of the first floor space is a huge screened in porch featuring seating for 16 in two separate seating areas, a grill, a wonderful outdoor tiled shower and an enclosed private bathroom. This is the place where most people tend to gather and enjoy the sound of the surf and views of the beachfront.
Additionally on the first floor, you will find one of two master bedrooms including a huge walk in closet and a large custom private bathroom. Also found on this floor is the laundry room.
The second floor features two over sized bunk rooms. Each bunk room contains one Queen bed and two twin beds. One bunk room featurs two trundle beds in addition to the Queen and other twin beds and also has it own private ocean view balcony. Each bunk room contains it's own full bathroom. Also on the second floor, there is a large private sun deck to enjoy some time away from it all.
Our third floor features the second master bedroom as well as a walk in closet, large bath with jetted tub, and private deck. This third floor deck area is one of the highest points in all of Folly Beach and allows for panoramic views that must be seen to be believed!

There is plenty of offstreet parking that can easily accomodate 8 cars.

I rented this lovely home for the week of Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time. My three grown children and their families came and we had more than enough room and beds for all! My chihuahua came,too and enjoyed walking on the beach as much as my grandchildren. We had warm weather but not too hot...was able to enjoy the beach and sightseeing in Charleston. My daughter and her family ran the 5K in Charleston Thanksgiving morning, some went kayaking, others to the Yorktown and of course, shopping in Charleston. Lots of things to do and see! Ate at the Crab Trap in Folly, Fleet Landing in Charleston but mostly cooked in the great kitchen at the house. But there are many wonderful restaurants in Charleston, an easy trip in across the connector 30 bridge. I think families, ladies weekends, most anyone would enjoy staying here and the owner was so easy to work with.

This is a wonderful place for a family to come and enjoy....Our family was with you this weekend...Our grandson is at the Citadel and we were down for the parents weekend....What a great place for us to hang out and enjoy family time.. One of the best views anyone could ever ask for. What a beautiful kitchen with all anyone could need! Great space for a large family....nice walk on W. Ashley to your little town of Folly. Wonderful porches to relax on. All bedrooms and baths are very nice..very good sleeping. A very short walk put us on the beach for a great day in the sun.The only thing that we could say that needs attention would be the washer and dryer and the grill are in bad need of replacement...Thanks for a great weekend...we would love to come again and would recommend highly.

My friends and I rented this gorgeous house and were more than pleasantly surprised. It is by far the nicest house I have ever rented, and I visit Folly at least once a year. It is built beautifully, and the attention to detail is impeccable. The white slip covers were a little dingy, but imagine the dirt they WEREN'T hiding! It is odd that there was not a single piece of art hung, but the house itself is stunning, from the expansive granite counter tops and high ceilings to the ornate chair rails and crown molding. It was very close to the beach, and the views from the balconies were amazing. Meredith was also very understanding when we locked ourselves out, and drove all the way from Charleston just to let us back in! It is built to accommodate large groups very comfortably. We had everything from toddlers to teenagers, and everyone had a good time. The pictures on VRBO are nice, but the reality is so much nicer! We had a fantastic meal at Taco Boys, but the Crab Shack was extremely greasy and disappointing. Brunch at The Lost Dog was superb. Even our experience at the Piggly Wiggly was outstanding; we were greeted by no less than 4 employees and offered help each time. Our only complaint was that we had to come home! There is absolutely no way you could be disappointed with renting this home.

My family and I stayed in this house for a week in the summer last year and we returned to the site today to book another week. Just wanted to pass along information that our family noted. First the house pictures, while impressive, do not really give this house the credit it deserves. We were in this house with 7 children and 6 adults and the layout of the house was perfect for us. The kids could hang out together and the adults as well. The 2 masters and large bunk room design for the other bedrooms allowed for plenty of space and the layout worked well for us all. There are 5 porches on this house and we made use of them all. There are 3 on the front of the house on each floor all with beach/ocean views. The sound of the surf at night was so relaxing. The view from the highest 3rd floor master allows possibly the best view on the island. You are so high and on top of everything it seems you can see forever. The 1st floor side porch is screened in and is furnished adequately for large groups to gather. It is a huge porch area and features a wonderfully handy full outdoor shower along with a 1/2 bath. There is a sundeck above that on the side which allows ocean views and some private areas to lay in the sun. One other thing to mention is that the location of the house is just close enough to downtown Folly where it's a short 3 to 4 block walk to the restaurants. It's not too close to town but just the right distance to allow a short walk to town rather than packing up the car, trying to park etc. One tip if you go towards town on West Ashley and take the first left and then right on the street behind the house, you can walk into town with little to no traffic. It's really a 5 minute walk and you're there. Our family really enjoyed this house. Beach across the street, a wonderful house, great location and friends and family. We are planning on reserving another week today for the coming summer.

I have been going to the South Carolina coastal area for close to 10 years now and I love ths house! I was just there on 1/22-29 and it was great! It is so user friendly, so beautiful but yet very comfortable. The living room furniture is some of the most clean and comfortable I have experienced - wouldn't mind having them in my home! The house is kept exceptionally clean and the manager of the property is extremely efficient and so nice to deal with! I would give it 10 stars if I could! If you stay at this place, you will be yeaning to come back!

This house was wonderful for our family vacation of 6 adults and 2 small children. We were close to the beach, restaurants and shops, and pleny of wonderful views from every floor. Place was very clean, except for the slipcovers which were covered with sheets. However, the sheets were good when traveling with young children. The kitchen was failry well stocked, perhaps needing a few more additions. Wonderful space! TV a bit hard to access at first, but great once you figure it out. Highly recommnet for anyone!!

From the time I was a teenager my family has vacationed on Folly Beach. We have stayed in small beach cottages to large modern homes. However, this was the first time that we did not stay directly on the beach. They family agreed that it was not a problem. It was exactly 150 more steps from the beach than an ocean front home. The house was very roomy, had wonderful appliances, plenty of seating for dining, was close enough to walk into town even with 8 grandchildren under the age of eight. We loved the beautiful screened porch with it's separate large shower and bathroom. It was a great place for the kids to play. The large bedrooms allowed each family to have their own space. The house is very quiet. We also appreciated that the house did not contain a lot of personal clutter. It allowed us more room for our stuff and ease of care. Most importantly, this house was amazingly clean! Every corner was spotless! The only complaint we had was the dirty white slipcovers on the living room furniture. We plan to return to this house!
