Reminiscent of a southern Mediterranean village, Las Gaviotas is a pristine, picturesque, and secure oceanfront development nestled along the breathtaking Baja coast. White plaster homes with brilliant colored tile and red clay roofs are strategically terraced along cobblestone streets directly overlooking the ocean.
The scenic views, private accommodations, and serene environment provide tranquil respite from the cumulative stressors in our hectic daily lifestyles. Ultimately, it is a haven of rest and relaxation as well as fun in the sun for all ages just 25 miles south of the border, six miles south of Rosarito Beach, three miles south of Fox Studios, and one mile north of Puerto Nuevo, the famous lobster fishing village.
Imagine lying in a king-size bed next to a cozy fireplace where you can see and hear the nearby ocean. Our home on top of the sea provides exquisite views of sunsets and full moons from multiple vantage points including the spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, patio, guest bedroom, and master suite.
The house is ideal for elderly or handicapped guests because there is easy access into the home. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen area on the main floor. Elderly guest need to walk up 3 steps from the street to the main level. We have three bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. We love to rent to families. The maximum number of adults at this house is 12 however if you have children under 1 years old they do not count towards one of the 12 allowed in the house. These six bedrooms provide ample room for your group whether it is couples or families getting together. The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 bedrooms downstairs. The lay out of the beds for the rooms upstairs include a king size bed in the master bedroom, another king size bed in the 2nd bedroom and a queen size bed in the third bedroom. Downstairs, one room has a queen bed, one room has a twin bed and bunk beds with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. The last room has a twin bed and a queen bed.
The beach, pool, jacuzzi, tennis, and volleyball courts are just a few yards from our door. Explore the tidal pools, lie on the sand, relax at the pool, fish from the jetty, or hit the surf with your friends. Due to the mild climate, the possibilities for relaxation and enjoyment are endless all year round.

10/03/08 Positive This house is AMAZING! Whether you are looking for a fun and relaxing family getaway, or an adults only trip... this is the place. I stayed at the property from July 24-July 27th for a bachelorette weekend with 8 other women. The weekend couldn't have been more perfect. The Bayers are great hosts. They not only provided us with a beautiful house for the weekend, but also made sure that we had all of the information we needed to get down to Las Gaviotas safely. Any initial concerns we had with traveling from San Diego down to the house were eliminated instantly. The property is very safe and we didn't feel uncomfortable once.

09/16/08 Positive We had a great time, my wife and I with five kids ages 3-19. Never a dull moment, surfing, swimming pool, tennis. The house was cozy for all. FOR YEARS NOW , AND THIS STAY WAS ONE OF THE BEST.THE HYPE REGARDING THE UNSAFE COUNTRY OF BAJA MEXICO IS TRULY FALSE , NOTHING HAS CHANGED IN THE FIFTEEN + YEARS WE'VE VACATIONED THERE. THE CARTELS OF BAJA ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN THE GANG AFFILIATION IN THE US AND THE PRESENCE OF AUTHORITIES HAS BEEN EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE U.S'S BEHALF, AS THE MEDIA HERE HAS INFLATED THE CONCERN. It was a great place to relax, and for my family and my boyfriend's family to get to know each other,cook together, and to just enjoy each other's company. The weekly rate is $1125. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years have a 3 night min
Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend: $250 a night. Rent two nights

There is a $35 maid cleaning fee collected for each stay.
Children under 1 year old do not count toward the 12 adult maximum occupancy.
