  Afimi is truly a luxury villa finished to very high standards. The villa, grounds and beach are very clean and well-maintained by the excellent staff. We visited Doctor's Cave Beach on a quiet day - our driver (Raymond - excellent!) recommended a day that a cruise ship isn't in port. We also bought a day pass to the Hilton at Rose Hall to use their water park and all-inclusive facilities. The kids enjoyed the waterpark but it is expensive ($65US per adult and $45US for children) for what you get. The food is fresh and well-prepared by the cook. We had the opportunity to shop with the butler at local markets and grocery stores. The highlight of our trip was the farewell bbq on the beach - complete with fire pit, torches and a massive bbq buffet. The master bedroom is outstanding - beautiful deck overlooking the bay, and a massive ensuite and walk-in closet. The kids loved the flat screen TV above the bath! We enjoyed the community pool, playground and tennis courts - all just a 2 minute walk from the villa. The layout is perfect if you are travelling with children (we had children ages 2,3,4,5 and 8 with us). We were able to sit inside or outside and see the kids at all times whether they were playing on the beach, in the pool or on the lawn. We ate most meals poolside on the beautiful dining table. The view is breathtaking! I would highly recommend this villa - it was a very memorable holiday.

  My wife and I stayed with 2 other couples and friends celebrating their anniversary. The accommodations and staff are first class! I've travelled the world and lived in the far east where "customer service" is highly regarded, but they could take lessons from Colroy, Nicoh, Fiona, and Andrew!!! Impeccable attention to detail, kindness, and warmth....they make you feel like family. If you want the ULTIMATE vacation in Jamaica, look no further!!!

  My family and I have recently returned from a week at the Afimi house and you just need to know what a special place it is! Now that we have vacationed and experienced having a staff (well.... not just a staff, they became our friends) we will always vacation in the future with a similar set up. Not having to worry about what to cook, going to grocery stores, etc is the way to vacation for sure. Conroy, the butler, is so cool and accommodating without ever being underfoot. He just knew when we needed something. Nicoy is an awesome chef, and Fiona is sweet and charming. Andrew, the "gardner" is really the ping pong champion of the island, and Marlon (driver) was knowledgeable and fun. My son in law David and he became best buds! (: We also met Arlene who assisted Fiona in the house and she referred a wonderful girl who came over and braided my daughters hair. My 4 year old grandson swam in the pool constantly and we all just enjoyed everything about the place. Highly, highly recommended. We will be going back for sure.

  We stayed at this beautiful villa for a week in early March. There were 5 adults (30s-40s) in our group, we travel somewhere warm every winter and really prefer staying in a villa. The staff at Beach House Villa (Afimi Villa) is top notch! They are always just around the corner is you need anything, but are never "in your way". Andrew, the gardener, kept the grounds, beach and pool beautiful all week without being intrusive. Fiona, the housekeeper, kept the villa very clean and was happy to do laundry for us. Now for the real stars... Nicoy, the chef, was outstanding! He prepared delicious meals!! We went to the Boat House one night, and it really is good. It just wasn't any better than anything he had made for us! Colroy, the butler, was so helpful, kind, funny, professional and welcoming. I miss his laugh already! The staff here is probably the best we've had in 10 years of taking this type of trip! Seriously, you will miss them when you get home, we all do!! The villa itself is very nice. Beautiful finishes throughout, nothing cheap here. The tile in the bathrooms is gorgeous! Nice linens, comfortable furniture, and even a shaded sun bed on the beach (perfect for afternoon naps) We hired a driver for the week, Marlin (via Raymond). Marlin took us anywhere we wanted to go. We went to Negril one day, the men played golf 2 days, the ladies did some shopping, and we all hit the town for some night life! Having Marlin was key! We all thoroughly enjoyed our week and would absolutely recommend it! Read the reviews, there is more detail in many of them. I just wanted to rave about the beauty of the villa and the wonderful staff.

  My husband and I brought our four girls (ages 14, 11, 11 and 9) to Afimi villa for Spring Break. Another couple and their 12 year old daughter also came on the trip. The house and reviews seemed to good to be true before we got there and we were honestly a little worried that we would get there and be disappointed. IT WAS AMAZING!!! The pictures on the site are all perfect and the house is very spacious and clean. The staff is welcoming and very good at what they do. The food is awesome and Nicoy has a great demeanor. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and our time at the villa was great. The only thing I would suggest is getting a better understanding up front about the meals and costs for groceries etc. My husband would have preferred to pay for everything up front rather than have Colroy continue to ask to go to the store and then present us a bill. We may not have asked enough about the way meals would work so that may have been our fault. All in all it was a very family oriented vacation and we enjoyed R & R as well as made lasting memories. I would recommend this villa to friends and family.

  We just got back from a wonderful week in Jamaica. My family with 4 girls, ages 14, 11, 11 and 9 and another couple with their 12 year old daughter had a great week. The house was exactly what we were expecting and there was plenty of room for us all. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the staff. It was clean and Fiona did a great job each day getting our rooms clean and preparing for bedtime. The food was excellent and Nicoy was very accomodating to our youngest, "picky" eater. The only thing we found touchy was that Nicoy and Colroy were somewhat protective of the kitchen and the girls did not feel comfortable just going to get snacks. We did not really understand ahead of time that we would be paying for groceries daily and I think it would have been easier if we could have had an idea up front on how much would be needed so that we could pay up front and budget for it. Our families enjoyed eating each meal together and having itserved and prepared for us was a treat. Raymond, the driver, was great and we enjoyed his personality. He was very helpful. We went fishing one day without success but still had a great time. We also went to Margaritaville one day which was o.k. It was a good outing for the girls. White Witch was very fancy and we went there to take pictures and have a cocktail. Afterward, Raymond suggested Robbie's Kitchen for dinner because it had more kid friendly items but it was not very good and I would not recommend it. We relaxed at the house and the girls LOVED the kayaks and going to find starfish. More beach activities would be great such as paddle ball and some floats. We also played Monopoly and cards a lot. Having wifi was great and I was shocked that we really did not watch tv or movies. The weather was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Jamaica and this villa to friends and family. It was a memorable and enjoyable trip!

  A confession: I'm really, really picky. I could find fault with a rainbow given the opportunity. That said, there is very little to fault with Afimi / A Beach House in Montego Bay. The house is beautiful. The decor is exactly as depicted in the photos. The wonderful outdoor living space is where we spent most of our time. The only nit I have is that, being a light sleeper, I could hear kitchen sounds early (beginning around 6am or so). Only one other person, my younger son, had this issue. Everyone else slept through the sounds of plates and the like just fine. Night sounds from MoBay are muted by the A/C and over by 10pm. The staff is *incredibly* friendly and accommodating. Our food (and drink! Try the frozen rum punches. You won't be sorry.) requests were met with pleasure by Colroy and Nicoy. Nicoy was great about serving our children (ages 6-10) dinner first. He let them try the "fancy" food but always had kid friendly options. The meals for the adults were really wonderful - per our request, lots of fresh seafood, beautifully prepared. Fiona was a doll - the house was clean, our clothing was washed every other day, and she even sang for us the last night. Andrew kept the grounds neat and even found some starfish at the request of the children. Raymond, our driver, was fun and informative. Franco, our daily tennis pro, was wonderful with adults and children. Cassanie, our yoga instructor who came over from Half Moon, was also wonderful with adults and kids. This was our 3rd trip to Jamaica, but our first to MoBay. Forget what you may have heard - it is VERY safe in MoBay. I (a mom) ran from the house down to the Hip Strip and back. There were sidewalks the whole way and I felt perfectly safe running by myself. Moreover, the Afimi neighborhood is very child safe and friendly - we made friends with several neighbors! Make sure to check out Sea Wind Beach Club - it is a GREAT deal (forget $$ Round HIll day passes) and very nice, especially if you don't want to be solicited. Our husbands liked golfing at White Witch. Lastly, I HIGHLY commend the staff for their honesty. All food receipts were maintained for review (grocery receipts could be paid by credit card at the store, which was convenient). There were no hidden charges, pocketed monies or "shake downs"- something we experienced previously in Ocho Rios. The Afimi staff and owners are really terrific. We look forward to a return visit - two weeks next time!

  I went to Afimi with my wife, three kids and in-laws for a week. I can say with confidence it was the best famly trip I ever took and in no small part due to the experience we had at the villa. First, the house itself is every bit as good as the photos suggest and them some. Stuart clearly invests in the house to keep it fresh and beautiful. The master bedroom is gorgeous with its own patio and huge bathroom. The beach is very peaceful and good for kids since its very shallow and there's no real waves to speak of. Make sure you wear the sand shoes that they provide as there are rocks and I narrowly missed stepping on an urchin. Don't let that discourage you though - the beach is thoroughly relaxing. The staff were terrific. Andrew, the gardener, has such a pleasant demeanor that you cant help but smile at him. Colroy, the butler, is courteous and is happy to help with any request. Nicoy the chef is awesome -- his lobster and short ribs are amazing!! My kids loved Fiona, the housekeeper an dshe was so patient with them..whether it was blowing up water balloons to throw at daddy (me!) or playing ping pong she was always ready to play with them if they asked. By the way, Fiona has a terrific voice!! Ask her to sing for you on your last night when you have your awesome bon voyage BBQ on the beach. Raymond the driver rocks! He is funny and knows the streets...he'll take great care of you. I took tennis lessons with Frank who is a great teacher. He also taught my two little girls who nevr played before and they loved him. The house and neighborhood is very safe and is part of a gated community. It was fun to walk around and see the other beautiful homes. All in all a terrific experience and a vacation to be remembered.

  We stayed at Afimi Villa for one week in February. There were three adults and one baby in our party. It was the most relaxing and beautiful villa I have ever stayed in. It's in a very safe, gated community and we were able to walk our child around without any worries. The pictures don't do the property justice. I teared up when I walked in bc it was so breathtaking. The owner, Stuart, was responsive and helpful, and the staff at the villa was exceptional. Everyone was kind, professional, and they were patient and sweet to my one year old daughter! Colroy was very attentive, Fiona and Andrew kept the house/grounds clean and comfortable, and Nicoy is an incredibly talented chef. I'm from NYC and can be a bit spoiled when it comes to food, but Nicoy's meals were spectacular! We also reserved Raymond as a driver and I can't recommend him enough. He didn't just drop us off places, but instead walked us wherever we were going to make sure we were set-up properly. I can't say enough wonderful things about Afimi Villa and its staff. I can't wait to return!

  Wow! Those are the only words to describe our experience at Afimi Villa. We recently stayed two weeks and it wasn't enough. The photos don't even begin to do this amazing property justice, the community was gated and safe we felt completely relaxed and at home the second we walked in the door. We were 6 adults and 2 children and we wanted for nothing, Colroy, Fiona, Andrew and Nicoy are the most amazing people and truly beyond the beauty of this property they made our stay just unbelievable. It goes without saying that without our driver Ray we would have been lost! Everything was spotless and immaculate and the food was beyond words Nicoy is easily the best chef on the planet! Stuart you and your team deserve a major standing ovation for not only the property but just the amazing experience you are providing there. We would love to say we took in more attractions but aside from the local market a couple of times we literally did not do much of anything except swim, eat, drink and enjoy precious time with our children and parents. We have already booked for next year same time so that should say it all! Thank You Everyone!
