We ABSOLUTELY enjoyed ourselves! The food was prepared wonderfully each day, and to each of our specifications; not to mention very tasty! We loved the kayaks, the pool, and the gorgeous views. Our entire stay was, just....PERFECT!!! Because of the beautiful Afimi, with its even more beautiful staff, we will never forget our time in Lagoons/Montego Bay. We are 7 business professional women, who though very close sister friends, were on our first group vacation. Afimi was just what the Dr. ordered, the perfect, much needed escape from the hustle and bustle of our city lives. We hope to return again in the very near future, and can't thank you enough for sharing such lovely place with us!!

What can I say that hasn't already been said...This villa was gorgeous! The best part for us was the staff...Colroy, Fe Fe and Nicoy! We love you...Will you come to Michigan? Colroy was so catering to us...he was there for all of us in a non-intrusive way. Blended drinks, coffee daily at 6am outside, you name it and he will do it! Fe Fe...the house was always so clean and tidy! Thank you! Nicoy...He made whatever we wanted and gave us suggestions as well! We were all spoiled...and it was such a lovely break from the day to day grind! Oh, and Raymund our driver! What fun he was...and patient with all of the shopping we did! Driving would have been really scary without Raymund...thank goodness for him! I recommend this villa highly! You will not be disappointed...book...book now! Thank you for making all of us feel so special...we had such a wonderful time! Amazing...truly!

Oh my goodness!!! This was our second trip to A Beach Villa...I thought is was great the first time, however, I have to say that our return visit was fabulous. We came back with the couple that we travelled with on the first trip and we brought two additional couples with us. It is so hard to explain how wonderful it is until you experience it, but I will try! First of all, the villa is simply beautiful and has been maintained exceptionally well. We visited in 2009 and were just there, April 2012. The property is just perfect. The addition of the outside bar and the cabana on the beach were perfect ammenities to add. As well there has been a face-lift of the furniture coverings on the outside porch as well as the bedrooms...at least the master bedroom, as that is where my husband and I slept. Fresh flowers throughout the villa were a special touch too!! Aside from the material aspect of the villa, the staff at A Beach Villa are wonderful! We were lucky enough to have returned to Nicoy...what a fabulous chef. One wouldn't want to dine elsewhere after experiencing his cooking!! Fiona...she takes such good care of us!! And Andrew...keeps things looking great and always has a smile on his face!! We missed Verna, however, we were very lucky to have met and made friends Colroy!! What a great guy...he made our stay exceptional!! We came and spent a very relaxing five days at the villa and didn't have a worry in the world...very hard to go back home!! Have to say....we looked forward to coming back to the villa, but we missed Ray Copeland our driver terribly!!! Raymond sealed the deal on the whole villa/driver package the first time we came....we had to do a repeat when we came back and we were definitely not dissappointed in his entertainment or the hospitality of the staff at the villa. If one comes to Jamaica I would so recommend A Beach Villa with Ray Copeland for a driver!! Thank you so much for providing us with a superb vacation!! Not a matter of if we'll be back...just when .

Our stay at Afimi Villa was wonderful in every way. The staff (cook, butler, housekeeper and gardener) were very attentive and professional and were great to talk to to learn more about Jamaican culture. As you will see from the pictures, the villa is very well appointed and we lacked for nothing. Our driver met us at the airport and 15 minutes later, we were settled into the villa. Our extended family (group of 8 people) were here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniverary and we were so engaged in relaxing and re-connecting with each other that we never actually left the villa except to talk a walk or a run through the gated community. The weather in mid-April was perfect and the breeze from the bay was so refreshing. We enjoyed the infinity pool, the beach, kayaking, snorkeling, outdoor bar and cabanas, not to mention the excellent stereo/music center and tv's. I would highly recommend vacationing at the Afimi Villa... it will be an experience of a lifetime and you will have no regrets!

This was the best holiday that my family and myself have ever been on. The house is amazing and the photos really don't do it justice. The staff Colroy, Nicoy, Fiona and Andrew were amazing. Nicoy cooked up some classic Jamaican dishes and also through a bit of western in there as well....all of it was delicious. Colroy was always on hand to quench our thirst (especially Mum's g&t thurst). Fiona always had the bedrooms clean and tidy whilst Andrew did a great job of keeping the beach and garden pristine. All of this was done in a non intrusive way and really made the holiday for us. I will most definitely be looking to go back if I/we can. Thank you again guys it really was a holiday to remember

We had an outstanding visit at this house. We traveled with our five young kids (ages 1-9), and this was perfect for our stage of life. Direct flight from Dallas, fairly brief customs line, and then a 15 ride to the house. House was really nice with minimal deficiencies. Great location right on the water, nice wifi for me to keep up with work, nice pool, TV with cable and dvd/vcr, etc. Nice gated community where I could work out daily (running on the roads, using the neighborhood gym, and kayaking on the house's boats). Staff was outstanding and very accommodating. Very helpful while not being overbearing. Professional but personable. We have food allergies (gluten and dairy), and the chef (Nicoy) was able to handle this with a little bit of guidance. He always asked me to review pre-packaged goods to approve of the allergy info. Able to let the kids roam on beach, play in pool, and play in small backyard as it was very safe and quiet. At night, you can hear a bit of music from what I assume is a bar a half mile or so away. Only on 2-3 nights and not so loud that it kept you from sleeping. Lots of board games, dvds/vcrs, and books which was nice for entertainment. Beach is very private. We did not see a single person on our beach or neighbor's beach the entire week. No meaningful complaints. We will likely visit again.

My family and I spent a glorious week at the Afimi Villa. It's true what I read from a previous reviewer - the house is even more beautiful in person. It's spacious, immaculately kept and it's open layout makes you feel like you're in a warm breeze day and night. I can;'t say enough about the staff. Butler Colroy anticipated our every need and was attentive without being intrusive. Chef Nicoy was the best-every day he prepared a superb meal using Jamaican fruits and fish. We loved it! Fiona was a wonderful housekeeper and laundress. Even Andrew the Gardener took time to to teach us some beach games. Over the years we've taken many family trips in the US and abroad, and this was by far the best one. Thanks to everyone at Afimi Villa for treating us so well. You made us very happy.

Our stay at the villa was absolutely superb. The villa itself is magnificent. The master bedroom and bathroom are surreal. I've never seen anything like them. The garden with the garden furniture, pool, sofas, outdoor dining table and bar are the perfect places to relax. But my personal favourite was the private beach with a a huge bed to relax on in a cabana. It literally felt like heaven. Just as important as the stay though were the people who treated us so well - the butler, chef and cleaner. All of them were absolutely phenomenal and left no stone unturned in making our trip as relaxing as could be. Friendly, chatty and welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

This was truly the best vacation experience I ever had! I'm just getting home from the airport and could not wait to submit my review! This vacation has truly exceeded my expectations! We were in a group of 8 and everyone agreed that it was the best vacation ever! The property is GORGEOUS! The villa looked even better in person than in the pictures. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and when we arrived, the place was spotless and remained spotless throughout our entire stay. Verna has become part of our family. In the short time we were there (5 nights) we realized how easy it was to love her not only because she took such great care of us but because there was just something very special about her as a person. We love you Verna! The food was INCREDIBLE! Nicoy, I know you get this a lot but you truly have a gift and I'm so glad we were able to experience it. Keep cooking those fantastic meals...the world needs to have a Nicoy meal experience! Fiona, thank you so much for cleaning up after us daily, turning down our beds at night and washing AND folding our clothes so we wouldn't go home with loads of laundry! Andrew, thank you for keeping the beach, cabana, grass, flowers, trees on point! Your work definitely helps to enhance the villa even more! Raymond, thanks for always being available to take us wherever we needed to go no matter the time! Though we did go out to sightsee, zipline, dance and shop we would have been just fine just staying at the villa the entire time because there's so much to do. You can spend time soaking up sun in the beautiful pool, take in a movie in the media room, read a book on the lovely cabana or just enjoy rum punch on the 2nd floor balcony, whatever your fancy you can find it at Afimi! It was awesome waking up every morning and seeing such a spectacular view outside my window without even lifting my head up. I can't imagine how anyone would be disappointed when choosing to vacation at Afimi Villa. We will definitely be back! To the owners, you are truly blessed to have such a lovely group of staff members on your team! They are all gems!

omg this vacation was absolutely amazing, the staff was great, the house was gorgeous, the view amazing! We had 2 small babies and they had so much fun this is a perfect family home or even a romatic get away . I will most deffinately be going back just as soon as i can. Perfect vacation, im speachless. The staff was so wonderful to be around and very nice words cannot explain how perfect this experience was. I would hands down reccomend this to anyone who asks. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

We just returned from a 5 night fabulous stay with our neighbors-- (6 adults). The house and staff are absolutely wonderful!! The house is so much more beautiful in person! Verna was incredible taking care of all the little details...meals, excursions, massages, transportation, reservations, etc..... She is extremely organized and attentive to everyone's needs. Nicoy's cooking is OUT OF THIS WORLD awesome! Curried goat, fish, bbq ribs, burgers, jerk chicken--everything was delicious! The last night dinner on the beach was incredible and one that we will never forget. We sampled several Jamaican fruits and dishes which we all loved! The house was kept immaculate by Fiona and Andrew. Fiona placed water by our beds after turning down the covers and lit our mosquito candles every night. We love the bar by the pool and the bed on the beach which are not even shown in the pictures. The owner of this house has excellent taste in decor, technology (we all love music and rotated our ipods for music by the pool), and service! We had the BEST time ever!

I just got back from my stay at the Villas in The Lagoons and it was fantasy land! We were catered to every morning noon and night by Verna who was INCREDIBLE, Fiona who cleaned up after us everyday did our laundry pulled down our beds at night, Nicoy who cooked us delicious meals everyday, Andrew who was our gardener and kept the property in great condition and our driver Raymond who was great in advising us where to go and informed us all about the island! The staff was unreal! Extremely friendly and more than accommodating. My whole family fell in love with them! The Villa was gorgeous! Beautifully furnished and very comfortable for all eight of us that stayed there. I WILL DEFINETELY BE BACK and sad it has come to an end! One of the BEST vacations!

Just returned this AM from 8 days at this Villa with my family ages 24-58 (8 of us). The listing and phots are accurate, the property is immaculate inside and out. I would recommend this property to anyone. The villa itself is gorgeous- spacious, everyone has their own bathroom, flat screens in every room, AC, Ipad to play music and program everything in the house, and a MAC desktop, if needed. There are some beach towels but you should bring one - the staff will wash it for you daily. You should also bring bug spray as at night it may get a little buggy, I personally didn't get one bite but members of my group did. The staff is phenomenal - Verna, Nikoy, Fiona, and Andrew are some of the greatest people I have met and consider them friends. Their personalities are down to earth and friendly. Verna is avaialble for your every need and will get you whatever you want- inside the villa and out. She is extremely knowledgeable about what is in season and where to go as well. Nikoy is an amazing chef - we were overstuffed at every meal. The way he seasoned food and the side orders provided were as delicious as the main meal. Fiona's cleaning and laundry service was great - coming home with no laundry was indescribable - clean bathroom, towels, and made beds. Andrew was friendly, took care of the pool, and cleaned the outside daily as well which was also gorgeous and immaculate. We also utilized a driver from the Villa, Raymond, who was always punctual and took us wherever we wanted to go. He also assited us in luggage storing when we had to leave before our flights and when we arrived before check in. We went on a Chukka (sp?) tubing tour which I do NOT recommend - it was more of a lazy river and not worth the time or money. We went to Dunn's River which was fine (I've been before) but the ride was long for us even with Raymond's great tunes. We also got massages at the Ritz Carlton (highly recommended) and the boys played golf at White Witch - they enjoyed that as well. We ate at the SeaHorse Grill (by recommendation of Verna) for my sister's birthday and it was delicious and right around the corner from the Villa and not very expensive - 8 of us ate and drank for 400.00 USD. Needless to say I am depressed to be home and will miss Jamaica, the Villa, and the staff. My family and I already discussed how we don't know if we can top this vacation.

Absolutely loved everything about our week in Jamaica, especially meeting Verna, Nicoy, Fiona, and Andrew. They take care of your every need! The house was gorgeous and the food was wonderful. This is absolutely the way to vacation with a large group or family ... we had 8 people, ages 1 to 66. The staff allows you to sit back and relax and vacation like a true millionaire! Raymond, our driver, was also fantastic. We weren't sure that we would need him, but we couldn't have been more wrong! He steered us in all the right directions, from Dolphin Cove to Doctors Cave beach, to a local, reputable pediatrician. Great accomodations and wonderful people! Our only complaint was that the mattresses in the Master Bedroom and Bedroom #1 were a little too soft and caused some serious back discomfort. But, nothing a little sun and swim couldn't cure!

Our Wonderful Jamaica Escape from the Canadian Winter

Review a little late but better late than never!!!. Our family of 6 adults and a baby spent our first family vacation to Jamaica at AFIMI Villa and it was perfect. Nicoy, Verna, Fiona took excellent care of us. Coming from a cold Canadian winter with busy careers, our holiday plan was to relax and enjoy the sun, sand and water and that is exactly what we did. Each morning we arose to coffee served on the upper terrace and then breakfast on the lanai which the family enjoyed prior to starting our day. We enjoyed walks through the compound, kayaking, swimming in the pool and wonderful naps in the afternoon in the cabana. Nicoy made pureed fruits and vegetables for our 7 month old grandson. Verna took us to the docks to buy freshly caught Mahi Mahi and lobsters which Nicoy cooked better than any 5 star restaurant chef. Delicious!!!! Nicoy's chocolate mousse is the best anywhere!! Most of our meals were under the lanai with the last evening highlight being a beach BBQ. We did not do tours but did go to the shopping area and the guys had a day of golfing while the girls had massages on the terrace. A great vacation thanks to AFIMI staff. Verna - You are the best!

Little piece of heaven!

We just enjoyed a week's stay at the beautiful Afimi.....The accomodations were just as pictured and the staff wonderful. The view of the sea from the house is simply breathtaking. The new addition of the hut on the beach with the king size lounge bed was amazing!!!! It was the perfect place to read or play cards while watching the kids kayak and play in the water. The water was crystal clear and I think my kids had their best vacation ever discovering sand dollars, huge starfish, seahorses, blow fish and many other unique types of sea life. Andrew was a gem in helping them learn about and clean the things they found. I think Afimi had the best grounds in the neighborhood thanks to his hard work. Verna was a joy....hugged everyone upon arrival making us feel instantly at home. Although I am sure Niccoy's skills are amazing, he was a sweetheart and did not act insulted when we asked him to make pancakes and bacon every morning for my younger son as well as chicken fingers every night. Fiona did a wonderful job with keeping things ship-shape and all of the laundry clean. The staff was a joy and made the vacation very memorable. The neighborhood was very nice and the kids enjoyed the tennis courts as well. We felt they were very safe roaming the neighborhood by themselves. Raymond was fun to have along on the day trips we took to Negril and Ocho Rios.....Although my kids never wanted to actually leave the Villa, the did enjoy Ricks Cafe and Dunns River Falls, the two places we felt they must visit while in Jamaica. They also had a great time at the Margaritaville near the house which had a fun water slide and water trampoline....my son could have spent hours there. There is also a cute sports bar in town that has the Jamaican bobsled. It was a very friendly place and the kids got to climb in the bobsled to get their picture taken. It was sooo nice to be so close to the airport, but the one thing I might note is that when going through customs you do have to have the address of the place you are staying. It is also important to tell them the name of the villa. We luckily had all of this information and it still took us over 30 minutes with the customs person. They are not really familiar with the Lagoons and needed to verify. The other suggestion I would have would be to talk with the staff to see if their are any local things going on. We were lucky enough to see the Jamacian National team play Venezuela in a friendlies match.

The Elite of the Elite in Montego Bay!!!

Afimi Villa is truly one of the best villas in Montego Bay! It's nested in the Lagoons, a gated community hosting the elite of Montego Bay. Every inch of the villa is very tastefully decorated and well-appointed. Everything is very new, very private, very luxurious! We have a beautiful infinity pool overlooking our private beach - a great spot for photoshoots! There is a cabana on the beach, where we took our afternoon naps after having a few margaritas. The master bathroom took our breath away! Pictures don't do this place any justice! Your vacation experience at Afimi Villa will beat any 5-star resort anywhere in the Caribbeans! Stuart, the owner, is pleasant to talk to. He replied to my emails in a matter of few hours. He answered all of our questions with great patience. He called me to discuss the Villa. He arranged everything down to the last detail. He called us on the first day to make sure that everything is going well. He even visited us but we were away on excursions. I can tell that he took pride in his villa and he upholds very high standards for his staff. The staff at Afimi villa went out of their way to make our vacation as enjoyable as possible. We were spoiled rotten! Our maid kept our room clean and did our laundries. I have never came back from a vacation with clean clothes! Verna, our butler, was awesome! Our chef can really cook! We discussed what we would like to eat everyday and then Verna went grocery shopping. We had a lovely brunch everyday and a four-course dinner every single night! lobsters, curry goat, red snappers, we named it and they cooked it, from scratch!! What was really memorable was the beach grill night where they set up everything on the beach! We had all sorts of salads, BBQ ribs, chicken, shrimp kebabs, corn, sausages ...We feasted under the moonlight with gentle waves crushing onto the beach. What an amazing way to end our trip! Ray, our driver, is a very cool guy! He is knowledgeable and he knows the hotspots of Jamaica very well! He took us to Dunn's River Falls, mystic mountain, 7 miles beach in Negril, Rick's Cafe. We are very grateful that he drove us when we went out at night. We felt extremely safe with him! Our stay at AFIMI villa is definitely the best vacation we've ever had! I'm pretty sure that we will return soon to paradise!

Dream vacation in Jamaica

Our stay at Afimi villa was excellent. We have a 9 month old baby and the staff (housekeeper Fiona & chef Nikoy) were extremely child friendly and went out of their way to make our baby feel right at home- so much so that he didn't want to leave them! The beds were extremely comfortable (we had a beautiful crib for the baby), linens were changed daily with turndown service and cold water with 2 glasses beside our bed nightly; the master bathroom was very spacious and the rain shower just amazing- excellent water pressure! Chef Nikoy was a genius in the kitchen- the variety of food cooked (especially the gourmet Jamaican dinner he prepared for us) was excellent. He even made a special pumpkin bisque for our baby & pureed fruits and vegetables for our baby daily. Our favourite part of the day was swimming in either the pool (which was a bit cold but being Canadians we survived) or ocean, then relaxing in the beach cabana which can hold about 6 ppl comfortably- listening to the sounds of the ocean while falling asleep or the surround sound stereo system in the afternoons. We enjoyed sea kayaking and snorkeling as well as morning walks/runs in the gated community where we felt extremely safe and the neighbours were very friendly! We really enjoyed feeling like we were at our very own "island home". Our family loved the decor of the villa, the open concept feeling which allowed the air to flow throughout the house and the many activities that we could do nearby. We rented a car and went into Montego Bay, visited Negril (which was a comfortable 1 hr drive away) and went rafting on the Martha Brae river (we highly recommend this- even with a young baby!). The property owners were extremely helpful in recommending outside dining recommendations to us as well as local shopping outlets. We will definitely return to Afimi villa with friends to enjoy another Jamaican vacation. We are really missing staff members Nikoy & Fiona now- we wished we could have taken them back to Canada with us. Vacationing at a private villa has many benefits over a huge resort- this is definitely the way to travel! We highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to enjoy a unique vacation experience- well worth the value! Thank you!

Our 2 families spent New Years at the villa and had a wonderful week! The house was beautiful and spotless. We had every meal outside and loved the cabana and kayaks. Nicoy prepared great meals, taking our tastes into consideration in everything he prepared. Fiona kept everything spotless and Camese kept the outdoor areas pristine. Verna made everything wonderful...we seriously had tears in our eyes saying goodbye to her! Raymond, our driver, showed us all around Negril, Ochos Rios, and Montego Bay making us feel like VIPs everywhere we went. He even took care of us when we had late flights and needed a place to spend the day! We truly enjoyed ringing in 2011 at Villa Afimi!

The home decor was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was polite and capable but certainly not as hospitable as any other Linda Smith villla that we have visited. Food was quite repetitive and unispired. The same breakfast was served every single day. Although I requested soups and appetizers, we were served cheese and crackers evening before dinner. This resulted in forcing us to eat out many times. We ate out of the house more times than in all of our other Linda Smith Villa Vacations combined over the years. Simple things like keeping enough juice boxes, water, beer and soda in the refrigerator were never considered. I think that staff could have easily managed such things but would have required constant guidance, which I did not feeling like doing.

Owner response:Although when asked, the guest requested the same daily breakfast we have made changes with our chef and food stocking policy.

We just returned from a wonderful family vacation in Jamaica and oh how we already miss Afimi Villa. The villa was every bit as beautiful as the description and photos represented. The staff was truly outstanding. They managed to accommodate the needs of all 10 of us. Verna was magnificent. She helped us organize our daily excursions, trips to the market, making sure we were on time for our fishing charter, scheduling massages; all of this so we could relax and enjoy. We all looked forward to Chef Nicoy’s creations chicken, fish, lobster; each mealtime became a new discovery of local Jamaican fare. We would highly recommend his suggestions. While Fiona kept everything beautiful on the inside, Camese tended to the garden and the beach. We enjoyed fresh Jamaican coffee on the balcony, a refreshing afternoon swim in the infinity pool, and a relaxing evening rum punch on the lanai. Combined the villa and staff create an amazingly luxurious atmosphere. Raymond, our driver, tour guide, and Patois tutor rounded out our Jamaican experience away from the villa. From the Hip Strip, to the Pork Pit, to the best zip-line on the island Raymond got us there safe and always with a touch of humor. A big thank you to everyone for a fantastic vacation!

excellent time with a wonderful, helpful and devoted staff. The house was comfortable except for the master bed, needed a foam cover to make it softer. The sheets and pillows could have been newer as they were worn and a comforter was needed not a cotton cover. We were greeted and treated warmly as if it was our home.

Owner response:Glad to know that the guests enjoyed their stay. Sorry that the mattress was not to their liking, however, the firmness of a mattress is very subjective. The master bed is an authentic Antique 4-poster bed with a designer coverlet in the traditional caribbean style which differs from the decor of the other rooms.

My family and I just came back from a week at Afimi. It was one of the most relaxing weeks I have had in quite some time. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We were greeted with cold washcloths for our face and warm smiles. The pictures online does not do justice to the villa. It was far more beautiful than we imagined. The view was spectacular and waking up to the sunlight beaming through the windows was magical. The villa staff was awesome. They went above and beyond to meet our every need. Verna was up at the crack of dawn to make sure our day started off on the right foot. She had coffee and tea ready as soon as we woke up. Nicoy made some great meals and always served with a smile. Fiona kept everything spotless and always smiled. Camese our gardner kept the ground spotless and the pool was always ready. Ins hort we had a great vacation. The kids had long faces when it was time to go home. We wil most certainly go back to Afimi. The amenities were great for the price we paid for the villa and money well spent. The staff became such a part of the family and we were all sad to go.

Our stay was so wonderful and pleasant, we did not want to leave:( From the first moment we loved the staff Verna-Nicoy-Fiona-Andrew, all were very warm and welcome. The villa was exceptionally clean and maintained like that throughout our stay. Our dining experiences were excellent, everything from the prepared meals to the serving. We pretty much followed the recommendations of the chef Nicoy and were always pleased. Verna did a great job keeping everything organized and perfect. Location of villa is very good, away from the downtown noise but close enough to hit the hip strip. We spent some days at Doctor's cave, took 2 day trips to Ocho Rios and Negril. And towards the end we discovered this private beach close by from a new hotel (Sandals?) 10min walking from the villa. It was like paradise. If we knew this from the beginning we would spent pretty much all of our beach time there! I highly recommend this villa. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation, and being spoiled then you should definitely come here. We were 10 friends (age range 28-40) and each one of us have to say the very best for Afimi. The only thing - beware of the sea urchins in the lagoon, one of our friends was unlucky to step on one...

From the first greeting of cool refreshing towels at our arrival, to the delicious meals, to the well-manicured grounds, pool and kayaks, to the immaculate and truly stunning villa, to the hot Jamaican coffee every morning on the terrace overlooking the water, to the beach bbq our last evening ---- our stay could not have been better. Afimi Family Vacation Montego Bay, Jamaica

We had the good fortune of spending a week at the Afimi Beach House in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The location is ideal, minutes from the airport, downtown Mo'Bay and easy to travel to the surrounding areas. It is in a gated community with lovely condos and private villas. The front door remained open all day to allow cross ventilation without a worry. The home is beautiful, even nicer than the on-line photos. The master bath shower was so large and luxurious my whole family took turns using it each evening. There is every amenity available. The villa is furnished beautifully and felt fresh and clean. The staff was incredible. Verna was like having a house mother, she kept everything running smoothly and even babysat. Nicoy was a wonderful, accomodating chef. He was great for my vegan daughter, my 2 year old grand daughter's needs and the rest of the family's wishes. I miss the fresh oj in the morning and the ackee and salt cod! Fiona was a lovely houskeeper, our clothes were washed and the home well cared for. Andrew tended the grounds and got our grandbaby a suprise from the bay each day, star fish, sea worms, sea cucumbers, whatever was the catch of the day. Raymond was our driver, companion and had a wealth of information to make our sightseeing so much fun. All this made our family vacation and birthday(s) celebration very special.

How I miss waking up at Afimi Villa! The house is absolutely beautiful, the views are breathtaking, the staff superb! Truly, it was one of the best vacations my family and I have had. We just returned from a week vacation at Afimi. We had a wonderful time. The staff was excellent. They attended to all our needs. The villa was nicely decorated. Our kids 8 and 11, enjoyed the pool and fishing at the lagoon. The villa was centrally located so we were able to go to Ochos Rios and Negril and enjoy the activities offered in these areas. Also, Doctors Cove was a short drive from the villa.. We look forward to another stay at Afimi on our next holiday in Jamaica.

My husband, myself, and our friends Mike and Christine planned our travel to Jamaica for a couple of reasons...Lonn and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary last year and planned to come last year, however, I was diagnosed w/ breast cancer...my friend Christine as well was diagnosed w/ breast cancer last year. We are both doing great, and to celebrate our renewed outlook on life, we planned our trip to Jamaica - Afimi. We could not have planned or imagined even, a better vacation. Your villa is absolutely beautiful!!! Of course a beautiful place alone doesn't make a vacation perfect...our "friends" Verna, Nicoy,Fiona, and Andrew made our stay at your villa perfect!! We so enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at the villa, and the food at the villa, that we nearly didn't want to leave to go visit anywhere else!! Probably the only reason we left the villa...was because, we as well, LOVED Raymond, our driver, and he made our trips to Ocho Rios, and Negril fabulous. Honestly...they didn't pay us to make these comments!! LOL We plan to come back again next year(w/the children), and we most certainly would recommend your villa, and the exact same staff, to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. Afimi is truly a luxury villa finished to very high standards. The villa, grounds and beach are very clean and well-maintained by the excellent staff. We visited Doctor's Cave Beach on a quiet day - our driver (Raymond - excellent!) recommended a day that a cruise ship isn't in port. We also bought a day pass to the Hilton at Rose Hall to use their water park and all-inclusive facilities. The kids enjoyed the waterpark but it is expensive ($65US per adult and $45US for children) for what you get. The food is fresh and well-prepared by the cook. We had the opportunity to shop with the butler at local markets and grocery stores. The highlight of our trip was the farewell bbq on the beach - complete with fire pit, torches and a massive bbq buffet. The master bedroom is outstanding - beautiful deck overlooking the bay, and a massive ensuite and walk-in closet. The kids loved the flat screen TV above the bath! We enjoyed the community pool, playground and tennis courts - all just a 2 minute walk from the villa. The layout is perfect if you are travelling with children (we had children ages 2,3,4,5 and 8 with us). We were able to sit inside or outside and see the kids at all times whether they were playing on the beach, in the pool or on the lawn. We ate most meals poolside on the beautiful dining table. The view is breathtaking! I would highly recommend this villa - it was a very memorable holiday.

Our family had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful villa over the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday in October and we have nothing but positive things to say about this spectacular home & all the amenities it comes with. The decor was breathtaking- we had afternoon tea on the porch each day & at nights watched the sun set while the breeze from the ocean graced us to cool us off. The cooks were able to make anything our children wanted and breakfast was ready each morning for us as we awoke to the smell of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee brewing and freshly squeezed Orange juice! We would recommend this villa to any families as an alternative option to a hotel- we were just so comfortable that we didn't need to ever go too far- but we did go to Negril which only took us about 1 hr 15 mins and the town of Montego Bay was just a few minutes away. The villa owners were so wonderful to our family & we will return with another family next year- thank you!!!

Wow! My family and I just returned home after an absolutely delightful week at Afimi. The villa is brand new and gorgeous and the staff were wonderful. We have never been so relaxed and pampered in our lives! The views from the villa were spectacular, especially at night when the lights sparkled on the water.Our family has travelled extensively and stayed at many different resorts and vacation rentals around the world and we all agree that this was the most enjoyable vacation we have ever had.
